A great local spot. I went there for lunch and the food was awesome. I absolutely recommend this place. Nice people too. Support this local business.

I can in here on a whim. The café had an interesting interior. Different types of tables and chairs to choose from. The menu didn’t seem like there were enough options. I chose the turkey pesto panini and it tasted amazing. My sister had the tomato soup, and it tasted a bit too… Rustic? Idk how to describe it, but it wasn’t all too tasteful. The bathroom was very nice and clean.

Im sorry I havn’t tried this café before now. Great coffee. Nice people in a very comfortable and airy atmosphere. I got the casa spice. House coffee with a cinnamon whip cream on top. Just a little sweet, it was perfect.

They are a perfect addition to downtown and for our health conscientious bunch. Their food and drinks are great but their fresh homemade hand picked berry pie was out of this world. Vallejo is lucky to have Leaf café and I hope the owners are happy they chose Vallejo for their business.

Stopped here on our way to Napa with the family. Amazing food! You have to get the cheesecake, simply the best I have ever had. Get one for here and one to go. Wish this was closer to where I live. Very friendly and clean atmosphere as well.

I absolutely love LEAF! My go to drinks are the Coconut Dream or Almond Cappuccino… delicious! My fiancé loves the Iced White Gibraltar and the home made pastries are incredible. Don’t miss the cheesecake!

Don’t walk, run, to this wonderful café in downtownish Vallejo. Wonderful breakfast quiche, made fresh! Pies, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, salad, sandwiches. Check hours because they aren’t open all day. Especially wonderful is the lovely décor and true café ambiance with restful pleasant vibe. A great addition to Vallejo.

Just had the most delicious portobello mushroom and sun-dried tomato pannini, but I wanted to add cheese and forgot because I was so excited to try a blueberry corn muffin for afterwards! I was also drooling over the bread pudding and savoring all the yummy smells around me! The sandwich comes with a choice of soup or salad, but I wanted it all so I got both! This place is a little gem in my neighborhood and I will definitely be back! Thank you Leaf

I love love love this place. It’s clean. The food is good. And the coffee is consistently great. The owners and staff are friendly. I especially love sitting in this space with my family. It is kid friendly with a couple of games you can take to your table including a mini«air» hockey game! I truly believe this spot is an important part of the amazing changes downtown Vallejo has started experiencing.

In response to Daniella B. ***** If quality and service were the focus my review would be a lot more critical! But if you are looking for tips to improve, no problem. First, when customers ask for water, the last thing they expect to see is tiny wax Dixie cups that should only be used in your bathroom! Secondly, your silverware was spotted and worn! I suggest offering a plastic ware option. Third, the chairs were uncomfortable and my table shook! Fourth, the cashier originally overcharged me, until I questioned it and she changed my total! Fifth, my quiche was cold! I didn’t actually eat it until I got home and microwaved it for 60 seconds! Hope this helps and good luck with all your future endeavors… Your welcome

I enjoy walking to this place since it is close to my work. The atmosphere feels more bohemian and takes you away from the wariness of Vallejo streets. The baked goods, sweets, and quiches are great. I keep staring at that blueberry cheesecake and chocolate ganache cake. However, I feel to get the full blown wonderful experience one would have to go before 10 or 11. I had to get there before 9 to get my greedy handful of quiches and stare at the cheesecake. I wouldn’t recommend lunch. It’s kind of overpriced. I had a panini meal for approximately $ 9.50. It just had pieces of cucumber and havarti. I get it it’s organic but I’ve been to other vegan places where I was at least left really full, and $ 3 less; for waaaay more food. There was a pasta salad included but I honestly can get the same amount at raleys for $ 1.50 or less. Both were quite bland. I also got their $ 6.50 pumpkin jalapeño soup. It came with like 4 pieces of «artisan» bread. This where I really got cheated. It was half a to-go cup container. It was also quite bland. Maybe I’m greedy or glutinous but spending close to $ 20 plus tip for lunch and still very hungry is a quite ludicrous… in Vallejo. I do appreciate more healthy alternatives than the fast food and mediocre mom and pops shops all over the place, but I think $ 11 at panera would do me much more justice. Besides that the quiches are wonderful I got 3 for $ 15 and felt they were worth it, as it took me a few days to eat, and was shared. So go in early and get them! I did try some coffee… um it was a popular one? I could say it was smooth but I’m not much of a coffee drinker.

I am very thankful for an Indie Bohemian Berkeley like Coffee Shop opening up in Vallejo. The shop had an art gallery and apparels for sale. The location resembles as if a Coffee Shop was yank out of North Park San Diego and placed in near Downtown Vallejo. The reason why I deducted a star was due to lacking a bike rack or a place to lock my bicycle that didn’t involve a traffic pole. The location obeys Jane Jacob’s Eyes on the Street rule. In the near future, the owner told me that the hours are going to be extended.

We finally made it into LEAF and we are very excited about this new place to eat!!! One thing Vallejo does not have is good places to eat/drink that is organic and homemade. We didn’t have time to try the food, but we had the chocolate chili mocha which I have to say was the best one I have ever tried! They make their own chocolate and whip cream. Usually mocha’s are much too sweet because they load it with sugar, but this one was perfect. My partner had the vanilla cream espresso which was equally as delicious. Organic fair trade coffee too! We met one of the owners, Daniella… thanks for taking the time to chat with us and thanks for providing us a place close by to pick up some good food and hot drinks!

Maybe my expectations of Leaf were too high. I actually like Vallejo and I think I was feeling a little too optimistic when I went to lunch here this week. I expected a place that felt more like a restaurant. The reviews made me think there would be better food. I also expected actual menus. Sue me. I have a thing for being able HOLD an item in my hand, rather than gazing stupidly at a board on the wall. I expect that from a deli, not a café… The place is small, or at least doesn’t really have a lot of seating. You can sit outside, but I wouldn’t recommend that. Let’s just say that Vallejo’s reputation is felt when on the street. Mind you, I was there at 11:30 in the morning mid-week. I work in SOMA so I’m used to a certain level of street people. This was different. I had to say it as two ladies out for lunch, we noticed our surroundings and how the«locals» were sizing us up. The food: Meh. There were only paninis on the board. You got to choose from TWO, yes just two types: one with meat and one without. We ordered one of each. The kale salad that came with mine was delicious. I’m not a big kale fan so that’s saying a lot. My friend’s pasta side was teeny. My turkey panini was super bland. I guess I expect this type of sandwich to have yummier bread(it was just white bread that had the funny toaster marks on it). The turkey was nothing special and the cheese was boring. I could barely taste the pesto. This would be a good dish for grandma when she doesn’t want anything too crazy. My friend’s cheese panini was equally as boring. She said it was light. THat’s not what I want in a grilled cheese and neither did she. I guess this place is good if you find yourself in old town Vallejo and need to eat, but I’ve been elsewhere in that city and enjoyed myself way more. I will not return.

Leaf gives me more reason to look forward to the weekend! The goat cheese quiche is soul fulfillingly scrumptious. One treat that I have never found anywhere else, is the sun dried tomato mushroom panini. That rustic artisanal bread is über hearty, jazzed up with nuts and such. Not your typical slice for sure. My family and friends cannot get enough of their muffins and cookies. There is nothing better than saddling up on a stool at the window with a bowl of their soup for lunch. Take the time to watch the leaves dance around the street, and clouds float by while peaceful music lulls your mind. The atmosphere here exudes serenity Daniella and Rayne provide us lucky patrons. Impeccable interior design, it’s the kind of space I imagine one can hone in on their creative side. I would not be surprised to hear an invention was thought of here, or a best selling novel was written in a day or two at their handcrafted tables. On top of dishing up good eats, they always have some helpful tidbit to share, like things going on in town or a tip to ward off a cold. Plus they support local artists to boot!

This place is so cute! I’m not a coffee drinker but the hot cocoa is really good and suuuuper rich. Their pastries are so good too! — the zucchini muffins are nice and moist but the bread pudding is my favorite!(Their selection does change since everything is homemade, but at least you get variety). I’ve also had their turkey and pesto panini with a side of pasta and that was good as well! Good food and nice atmosphere.

All Organic! Hands down one of the best café in town. Finally… A café where you can hang out, chill for a minute with awesome ambiance and amazing food. Try their deserts. Had the bread pudding and it did not disappoint. Location: good parking and the café is located on the corner. Ambiance: good music, allows people to talk Service: Great People. The owners are most likely going to be serving you. Food: OmG. Portobello Panini with walnut bread was amazing. The portobello had great favor that went well with the walnut bread. Orzo pasta was bright and lemony. Coffees good — but I’m biased to Mochetti and I like mine almost jet fuel. Overall a great experience and Amazing people.
