Vallejo, CA: Extremely friendly Seeing the stars and well placed reviews alongside the name on Unilocal,I was eager to find this coffee shop. Was I surprised to discover that it was not a drink shop but a roast house. My search for coffee in Vallejo had taken me to a noteworthy coffee roaster. I was offered a sample taste of the brew of the day, and questions were referred to the office, where I had the great pleasure of meeting and speaking briefly to Mr Moschetti himself, an affable man. I’m sorry I don’t remember your name but a kind and cheerful lady office staff person provided details of the weekly Saturday morning open house, from 9:00 — 1:00PM, where the public is invited to come try all the: roasts offered free! They tell me food samples and local artists/craftspeople are present as well. Bagged beans are available for purchase. Their gravel lot is the first driveway on the right after turning right onto Curtola Pkwy from Solano Ave. Will have to include time for stopping in whenever next in the area. I wasn’t aware at the time but later found out that their beans are vended at Nathan’s Concious Cup, where I had a very delicious cup of mocha, leisurely sipped on site.

If you live near vallejo, this is a MUST try place. I really love the selection of coffee they have here. Starting your Saturday with free coffee tasting is just amazing. There are people there also to explain different types of coffee. I really hope they keep the coffee tasting free!

When my family moved back here to Vallejo from the City, we were pretty bummed out that we were moving away from our favorite coffee places, namely Philz. Ironically, when we did a coffee shop search locally, Moschetti popped up at the top of the list. We always had kept this place in mind, but with our kids it was constantly being put on the back burner. Fast forward a year and a half later, and we finally make it here, albeit just my daughter, baby son and myself. We just recently spotted the location off the street, and noticed it was pretty inconspicuous. I kept telling myself I’d come here, but each time something else would come up. But last night, I saw Moschetti post a picture of nitro brew!!! If you know me very well, you’ll know that I’ve been searching for nitro pretty much everywhere, with no luck except for Stumptown’s nitro in a can. I’ll always give patronage to the local small business owners, and it felt like the perfect time to try. So I made my mind up last night during graveyard shift to visit Moschetti. I’m usually too tired to drive anywhere after work but this time made the trek to Curtola & Solano. It’s a bit hard to find at first(I had to turn left, make a U-turn then find a tiny street called 6th, and their business is on a gravel road) so keep your eyes peeled for their sign. You won’t miss it. When we walked into the driveway, we were greeted by a very cheery lady who explained that the cupping was not today. I told her i was actually here for the Nitro, at which point she directed us to a small café area with hot coffee ready. I noticed the distinct roasted smell coming from a trailer nearby. Then the girl brought out this huge growler with the Moschetti logo on it. She explained everything I needed to know about the nitro, the process of how it’s made and the process regarding refills should I decide to get more. Unfortunately I did not get her name. Next time I come back, I’ll be sure to get her name. I actually felt bad that I mispronounced the company name, but at least now I know how to pronounce it. I know there are so many more aspects to Moschetti than the nitro coffee, and I’m looking forward to getting to know them all. Today I realized why they have a 5 star average with 80+ reviews. Their service is A+ and their coffee selection is bonkers. Keep it up, folks!!!

Moschetti has provided coffee and equipment for my business for the past two years and I do not have a single complaint. The coffee is fresh and amazingly delicious, the customer service is top notch and I love how hands-on the owner, Fabrice, is. I’ve rarely had equipment problems but when I have they always send someone out the same day. I have had a great experience working with Moschetti and I highly recommend them.

Finally made it to the Saturday Community coffee tasting, and I’m so glad I did. I really enjoyed sampling a variety of coffees, and hearing little snippets about the company. My 4 year old daughter came with me, and was kindly offered a hot chocolate(extra chocolatey!) by Leoni. Leoni was very engaging, and told us about the milk used by them, even gave me a sample. I love coffee people, and coffee itself, and this was a great experience!

Saturday morning 9am to 1pm free coffee tasting! We’re been hearing a lot about this place being big coffee drinkers so we finally checked it out today. It was fun! Tons of coffees to try, booths set up of items to purchase from food to coffee to homemade jewelry and greeting cards. There was a fire pit and chairs around it that made for easy conversation making with strangers. This is a really great way to meet new people, find your new favorite coffee and buy for friends and family gifts! Food and gifts are cash only so come prepared!

Absolutely the best coffee in Solano, Napa, and maybe the North Bay! Moschetti is a hidden treasure in Vallejo. Moschetti’s is a local roaster offering some of the finest, freshly roasted coffee beans. The staff is well versed in their knowledge of coffee, and offer great customer service. The best part of Moschetti, for me at least, is the free coffee tastings usually on Saturday’s. On the free tastings, you can sample all if not close to all the coffee’s they roast. You can get quite arguably the best espresso around, or try a nitro brew, or even get some good hot chocolate for the kids! Best of all its free! You can’t beat that. A few local vendors show up and offer some really great items like great chocolates, local honey, and jewelery. The atmosphere created on these free coffee tastings is great and easy going. You couldn’t ask for more.

A Vallejo must go-to spot! Free coffee tasting every Saturday. I often go with friends to just hangout and drink coffee. I also love the art/craft vendors that setup on Saturdays. They always have something interesting and usually locally made.

This place is legit! Free coffee! Free espresso! What more can I say? The owner personally made me a cappuccino and is super friendly. I heard he even does a ton of community work in giving out free coffee. Personally, that’s what I respect about owners and their businesses – giving back and serving. Going back definitely! Oh and try the nitrogen brewed coffee. So coolz. Yes! Its free too!

I just love love love this place! I consider it the town square meeting place of Vallejo. It’s my go to place on a Saturday morning rain or shine. The coffee is the best around ! It’s great to sample and enjoy so many for free and decide which one to purchase. You can buy it whole bean or they grind it for you. I’ve met so many interesting people there just to sit and chat with. I’ve also purchased some beautiful handmade items from the variety of vendors. It has become one my all time favorite places in Vallejo!

Moschetti is a coffee roaster not a retail coffee store. Yes you can get sample espresso and coffee but their value proposition is getting you some of the best beans available anywhere. Saturday is a happening. Outside they have live music and various vendors selling food items. Inside the garage you will be greeted by more than ten coffee jugs with various coffee. Experts will help guide you through the maze and prepare various espresso shots to tempt your palette. We bought two different pounds of coffee for a reasonable $ 13 per pound. I have tried several Bay Area roasters and this one pleases me the best. The coffee tasted as good at home as it did in the store. They have the most expensive coffee brewer I have ever seen at 5,000. Several customers told me it brewed better coffee than I have ever tasted. Unfortunately it was being cleaned from a small espresso oops so I guess we will try some other day. If you want a special latte with extra milk, foamed hard and shaken three times upside down you would be better served by a store with a green and white logo. If you want to talk with coffee experts that can guide you and give samples to help your purchase selection then give Moschetti a try. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Simply, yet complexly, the best coffee anywhere! Moschetti’s freshly roasts raw organic coffee beans from around the globe. Ranging from $ 10 a lb to the world’s most expensive coffee(I believe a few hundred dollars a pound) Moschetti’s boats a cornucopia of freshly roasted coffee. Every Saturday from 9 – 1 the doors are open for people to freely sample around twenty different varieties of Moschetti’s coffee from around the world! I particularly enjoy the Red Sea blend and the India beans.

Moschetti, you are definitely the fuel to my Saturday mornings when I feel like a zombie craving for brains. Moschetti is on the beaten path in the hood of Vallejo along the marina near Mare Island. It has that local hole in wall charm and witnessing this local staple was definitely a treat this foggy cold morning. Moschetti has many coffee brews to offer both hot and cold! It’s super cool to discover diverse styles of coffee blends from around the world. My personal favorite? The Obama blend– you heard me! The OBAMA blend! The Obama blend has a combination of coffee blends that makes the texture of the coffee both smooth and strong. Whether you like it black or pumped with lots of condensed milk and caramel, it’s definitely one of my personal favorites! Another one of my favorite coffee blends that morning was the Ethiopian blend. It’s a bummer that I don’t remember the name of that specific blend because it was light and tastes GREAT when it’s black! Keep in mind that Saturdays are the free coffee tasting days so please be aware that parking those mornings are narrow and difficult when you arrive at a later time. Also, since the coffee is free, there are some pastries and other local foods for sale within the $ 2.50-$ 8 range, but if you feel like leaving them some love, it would be nice to offer them a tip. Shout-out to Brian R. for bringing me to this local coffee tasting event! I will be back for more coffee tastings soon with more friends!

Great great service and product selection. We came by during one of their Saturday tasting events. The owner was very friendly and informative. What kept catching my attention was the level of customer appreciation. The experience was just beyond pleasant. I’d recommend anyone to take a visit down and see what they’re all about.

I had this coffee ten days ago when I was visiting friends at mission, SF! I loved it so much that coming back to NY coffee just didn’t taste the same! Living in Brooklyn, I get my choice of coffee options too but something about this coffee I loved so much. I called the little café at bernal heights, asked them what kind of coffee they use– the guy who answered the phone said some sort of fair trade! Not to be dissuaded, I called back next day– to get a name of the said fair trade– moschetti! Having never tasted their actual house blend(other than what the café served) I went ahead called moschetti — checked if they do online orders — Ordered it– only to realise that shipping costs 19,95!!! The actual coffee was just 14 in comparison. I mailed moschetti guys asking me to add in an extra bag(if I was paying that kind of price might as well buy another pound!) The guys at moschetti were so sweet — fabrice mailed me back –saying he was sending me the second bag at no extra charge! The coffee arrived yday and boy am i in love as I write this review with my morning cup of perfection! Sure my husband makes fun of me– thinks I am quite the diva for rushing after finding that coffee at all costs, but hey it is worth it!(He’s yet to taste their coffee you see) Thank you fabrice and the team at moschetti– you made this New Yorkers month! It was sure worth calling those tiny cafes and figuring out what brand of beans they were using! #Coffee stalker ;-)

My husband and I went early on a Saturday morning just expecting to taste some coffee and pick some up for our house. It was a great experience and everyone was so friendly! Thankfully we went early enough that there wasn’t a lot of people there. Fabrice was amazing and made me a mocha that was amazing. Everyone was just so warm and the coffee was so good. Next time I’ll be sure to have some breakfast because I definitely was cracked out after or I’ll go for more decaf! Either way I had a blast. Great coffee and an equally great experience. Just know the late morning crowd is pretty huge and the parking lot is pretty small. Id definitely hit Moschetti first before Farmers. Not the other way around.

After reading all posted reviews I decide to check out this business just to confirm what I read and couldn’t beleive, that such business still open and operating in Vallejo. This place is just unbelievable true heaven on earth after I try their freshly hand made latte with organic milk crafted by business owner him self. After first sip I felt back in Paris for few seconds. I never taste anything similar anywhere around the bay. This is absolutely breath taking experience tasting real coffee I only taste abroad in France. I can’t never go back to Starbuck. Highly recommend their Ice Coffe as well straight from Ethiopia.

Total hidden gem. Wonderful variety of coffees and it feels good to buy from a local roaster. And prices aren’t that much higher than the grocery store. I won’t tell you which coffee I bought since they don’t have much left of it but it is fantastic. If you are local and can go on a Saturday when tastings are available it’s a fun, different experience. Last thing I expected to find in Vallejo and glad I finally went to check it out.
