The food here is hit or miss depending on the dish. The sesame chicken was good, chow mein, broccoli beef and tofu wasn’t that bad either but everything else was bad. The pot stickers were disgusting, the spare ribs were cold, and even the cups were dirty. I went there with my wife and kids to have lunch. I had to wait a little while for service NOT because it was busy but because the lady was busy talking with the cooks. the lady should really pay attention to the people coming in. Also servings where small. The guy after my family ordered the same thing i ordered and there was a big significance on how much I received and how much he did. I was a little disturbed by that. This is the first and LAST time i will ever go there.

This food is NASTY their chow main is dry everything is just wrong they have flies. They don’t even deserve even one star. I’m calling the health department as well. There very rude and quick to call the police when asking for your money back! I am very upset and they have made my day a BAD one

I’ve been craving good Chinese haven’t had it in a long time but this place is horrible the food is nasty now no flavor very old food. They give you a punching card the one I had was from a year ago they trick you and pretend there stamping it I looked away because the lady was saying something and he just faked like he was stamping it don’t get tricked people.

As soon as I took a bite from my «fried rice», I knew how this review would go down. Let me back peddle to when the food was delivered. I got a call from the delivery man saying he was outside. I go outside and no one is there. He is standing about 4 houses down trying to figure out where to go and I try to walk him through it. It takes him 5 minutes to realize where I am after trying to give directions, both on the phone and yelling from down the way, to walk the short distance down the street(I have a small child so leaving the house wasn’t an option). The delivery guy WAS friendly but didn’t have proper change so I had to wait another 5 minutes. I don’t want to fault him for being lost in translation(especially since he was nice) but it was just a shitty start to a shitty meal. Everything was soggy and lacked flavor. My child loves egg rolls and immediately spit his out. The only thing that was even close to edible was the Broccoli Beef. The fried rice didn’t taste fried at all. It completely lacked flavor other than the mounds of cabbage in it. The chicken resembled rubber, I hate to be harsh on independent businesses but this was unacceptable and will not be ordering from them again.

Great Chinese food for a steam table place. The owners are always very sweet and welcoming. I would recommend the Sunton Chicken and Sesame Chicken. They also deliver, a rarity in Vallejo.

I mean, if you’re starving like I was, it tastes good. They ain’t got nothing on Panda Express or anything though. I chanced a 1 item meal, as not much looked fresh or appetizing from the steam table. The lemon chicken had a weird taste I’m thinking because the batter wasn’t fully cooked around the chicken. The chow mein was REALLY greasy and nothing to write home about either. Might try again if in another hungry circumstance. It’s basically cheap Chinese food at very fair prices though.

I would still come here even if they only had calamari! Every menu item I have tried has bred delicious and the service is amazing. Such nice people! Good prices and never packed. A hundred times better than Panda Express and any other competition around.

We don’t have take out very often, but when we have medical appointments and find ourselves short on time, Peking Express is our family’s spot. The owners are so friendly that we keep coming back for more. We usually order broccoli beef and mushroom chicken to get our veggies. However, they do sell dim sum if you have the time to wait for the fresh order or can call it in ahead. We like the way we are treated and that you can see what you are getting. Very consistent! Parking can be tricky if the Credit Union is busy so patience is sometimes required in the parking lot.

I will never eat there again, I’ve been sick with food poisoning for 4 days. The sesame chicken was cold I felt sick just chewing it .all was able to eat was the chow mien. Co workers have gotten sick from eating there too. Never ever ever again.

Time: 12:41pm/72°F sunny Purpose: In area for meet up with clients. After a disappointed experience at Baldo’s, I opted to try Peking since next meet up was in 20 minutes. Ambiance: Located in the Flemingtowne Shopping Center complex. Share lot with majority of Foodmaxx shoppers. Peking established itself as a somewhat of a Panda Express experience. There’s no outside seating while inside is just four family booth and one loose table. Steam tabel with cook food and beverage fridge rounds out the place. As with most chinese eatery bamboo plant, red/gold tassel, scroll, maneki-neko cat, phoenix bird and dragon deco. There’s no entertainment of any kind just natural noise of pots, dishes, and wok emitting from the kitchen. Staff: There were four workers in all, I was help by lady in her early 50s. She was nice and freindly stood there with a pause for about 30 seconds. Finally, I spoke asking for a combo box. She didn’t quite understand so, I change tactic. I point out small box with finger pointing at spare ribs and chow mein. Then she got what I meant. I don’t blame her, but she’ll need to communicate better if she wants customers. The other three just back of house workers didn’t talk or get any help from them, wasn’t necessary. Cleanliness: Grade A, place was really clean for asian eatery. Not surprised things could be a little different. Peking had tables that looks like it was deliver that same day with wrapping just taken off. Eats/Drinks: Small box of chow mein $ 2.35 skipping spare ribs, it show fatty tissue surrounding bones. Chow mein were nothing special just your average Chinese joint fare. Noodles not greasy tasting or doughy/mooshy with a couple pieces of char siu along with veggies. To me it was like snack size just enough for now, but hungry after an hour. Asking for water seems like I’m a cheapo so, I pop trunk and got bottle of tazo tea. Company protocol a case in trunk for emergencies. In this case, it was an emergency, I was thirsty. Main Features: Family dinner serves 4 – 5 people $ 32.95. Products/Services: Chicken, beef, pork, fish, vegetarian, prawn, a La carte, soup, pot stickers, soup, vegetables, combos, family style, salad, wings, curry, bbq meat, noodle, rice, noodle soup, appetizers, sides, assorted cold beverages. Punch Lines: Average place, strip mall, standard americanized chinese, fully cooked, steam table, seats are minimal, lot parking, shopping center, inexpensive, friendly, budget-watchers, laid back, zippy service, can’t go wrong, tucked away in strip mall. Tradeoffs: Seafood listed is meant for frozen fillet fish and prawn. There’s no seafood seen on steam table other than shrimp, it has to be order on site while you wait. Not ideal for those in a rush, but that’s how it goes to keep prices down. Final Thoughts: There’s really not much going on in here other than fast cheap Chinese on the go. If you’re hangry, I suggest you grab a bite before grocery shopping next door. Rule of thumb is never to shop while hangry. Place caters more to nearby workers than say a family out of town coming in. Does that answer what you’re looking for?

Nice owner, been in the game for over 10 years. Had a two item combo, the fried rice is good, the kung pao chicken was okay and hard to mess up on the broccoli beef. I also got to try the sesame chicken(good) and the lemon chicken was better plain as I’m glad the lemon sauce came separately in its own container because it tasted weird and artificial. They have a dozen of dim sum items they sell anytime of the day and I only had the steamed bbq pork bun which was a good snack while driving my food back home. The place was a little dirty but will definitely come back here for my Chinese express food and the walnut chicken seems to be a dish I’d like to try.

Visited this place for the first time on Mother’s Day. The interior was old school but the food was fresh and the prices were reasonable. Friendly staff. I was a newbie but quite a few regular customers stopped by to pick up orders and staff knew them all by name. Food was decent and prices were reasonable. Great place for take out. Call in advance and get your order fresh.
