Pete is a barber — he knows how to cut hair. It’s probably not the place to go if you want lines or designs cut in your hair. But if you’re 9 months to 99 years old, he will give you a good haircut — one that will draw compliments. There is a reason why he has cut the hair of men, their children and their children’s children. It’s because he’s good at what he does.

Best barber you could ever ask for. Been going to him for over 30 years, as have many, many of my friends. Pete is an exceptionally skilled barber/​stylist, and strives to please everyone that walks through his door. When you see Pete and his wife out in the community, he acknowledges you as if you were family.

Pete was an experienced barber when he gave me my FIRST haircut… in 1974. He knows what he is doing, and is an all around great guy as well. Highly recommend if you want a barber. If you want a foofy stylist, go elsewhere.

Here’s a correction to the days and hours that he’s open for business. He is open on Wed., Thurs. and Fri. from 8:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Pete is the best. He’s been cutting my hair for over 30 years & I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s one of the last old style barbers around. He even still does flat tops freehand. He has sports on the TV and lots of magazines.

Again. Pete saves the damn day. He can also fix someone else’s bad hair cut for you!
Husband took my 7 year old son to some barber closer to our house and this guy did our son’s his bangs crooked, lefts tuffs of hair over his ears, and A BALD SPOT.
Left the store with a shorter look, but the hair cut was smooth and no one will ever know. Thank you Pete!

This is the place to go. Hands down the best barber in Vallejo. I didn’t find this place until a year after I got here and wish I would have found it sooner. One man, One chair and Pete will remember you after your first visit.

Pete’s the best barber I have ever been to. He’s been cutting my hair since I was about 5 or 6 and he still cuts my hair til this day; im 19. and he’s also been cutting my dads hair since he was in high school. Pete knows ALL styles, tell him exactly what you want and he’ll do it perfect everytime. No one else cuts my hair except for Pete. Simply the best there is.

Pete’s is the best of both worlds. The old and the young all go here. The children who’s dads brought them now bring their own kids. The only place I will go. If there a line it’s worth the wait.

We drive thirty miles to see Pete. He is fantastic with wiggly kids, and has cut my son’s hair right, with no bald or high spots for years. I posted some before and after pictures of my kid getting his haircut here. We go here, and always get the best looking haircut, every time. Pete rocks!

Went to Pete’s for the first time today. There was one person in the chair and one waiting ahead of me. Pete knew them both by name and chatted them up the whole time. TV turned to ESPN and good sports reading material. Pete’s a real barber (49 years cutting hair) and does a good job.
