My family & I came to this Safeway’s floral department to pick up bouquets for a funeral. We walked in at about 4:45pm. As we first walked into floral, we did see an older woman assisting some customers, standing behind the counter & packaging bouquets. We thought she would still be there when we needed assistance– we were wrong. Right when it was time we needed help, that woman behind the floral counter was gone. Disappeared. Didn’t even ask if we needed help, yet she was aware we were there. And never came back. We waited a few minutes for some help. Still nothing. My husband walked up to the register to ask if someone could help us, as we needed several bouquets cut & put together. He was told someone would be there. We still waited. My mom then approached another younger female, who said she doesn’t work in floral but she’ll try to help. She attempted to open the flower packages but stopped and said she would get someone else. Another male worker stood next to her explaining 4 staff had called in sick, but he was of no help either, as he too walked away & disappeared. It was already 5:20pm. We had waited a total of 35 minutes so far. I was going to give Safeway 1 star. But then a very nice gentleman, Naje rushed over to us and apologized for the long wait. He put together the most beautiful bouquets. Naje was very professional, courteous, very nice & did an amazing job on our bouquets. Thank you Naje for great customer service.

Excellent(fresh food) and great service. The people are very attentive and friendly. The deli case had mostly fresh selections. Everything I ordered tasted great and I was very happy.

Produce and deli are both terrible. I’ve seen bugs swarming the fruit, and have to search through anything prepackaged to find one that isn’t past the expiration date. Today hubby bought artichokes, and after cooking I found a worm in one of the leaves. That’s the last straw for me never shopping here again

Living in Glen Cove this is the nearest supermarket. I love it! Been patronizing this location for 4 years. It’s always a joy shopping here. Employees are pleasant and simply nice-new and old. Produce department is organized with the freshest of fresh and I can always find habanero peppers. Usually, I wrap my own flowers, so not too Much interaction with any florists, but the prices are reasonable. On several occasions lately i’ve been visiting Starbucks inside. Favorite barista is Ericka– so pleasant and thoughtful. Not only is she a barista, she serves as a mixologist. She gets how I like sweet drinks and will suggest which syrup to include and extra pumps. Last week coming off a really horrible cold, she suggested mint majesty tea with peach tea. So yummy!!! She’s a star.

There are a few safeways in Vallejo and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. They have a very good deli and the deli staff are always so nice. Floral staff is also my favorite! Most of the checkers are really nice as well. But there is one that is really mean that is usually at the self check line. Not sure why she is such a grump. Probably why I can’t give them 4 stars. Also one star off because they often run out of produce like green onions and cucumbers.

This pharmacy is truly incompetent. This is the third time in a row I’ve had to come in two or three times in the a row to get a single prescription refilled. Every time it was a different story, a different excuse, a different explanation. They are nice people, but they don’t have their act together, and they don’t seem to get it that I have other things to do in my life besides come back there over and over.

I will never return here again. Lines out the aisle, no one greeting anyone, DISGUSTING inside, staff doesn’t care… literally no f*cks to be given by them. The parking lot is scary as hell. The people out there make me nervous about leaving my car unattended. Lines for the gas pumps can go to the street. Safeway needs to do something about this store.

This was my favorite Safeway, until recently. With all the new employees nobody knows anything. The deli is always a nightmare. Several times I have had to go behind the counter to find someone. Last week I wanted a sandwich for my husband. Pastrami on rye. Waited for someone to show up for about 5 minutes. Finally I place my order and he didn’t have any rye. So he left to go get some. He was gone forever and came back empty handed and said he couldn’t find it. I told him to forget it and left. It took everything I had not to grab a loaf and throw it at him as I walked by. Several other things happened, such as 6 people deep in line, a bag missing, etc. Bye –bye Safeway. Good luck!

I would love it if this store very near my Glen Cove home was well run. But it is not. The good: the staff is always very nice and very helpful. The Bad: there is never enough staff; they have super long check out lines, the self check out system really sucks and they don’t carry enough variety at this store. I have complained to management about getting more checkers, but they just won’t. And the Safeway«club card» BS where you have to register the card/phone number so they can track your purchases and claim to give you discounts-is just a joke and terribly inconvenient to the customer. I don’t like Safeway in general due to their high prices, dopey sales gimmicky club card crap and expensive pricing, but when you add in inadequate staff to handle volume, well, this store is just bad. I’m off to whole foods & trader Joes because surveys show their prices are no higher than Safeway and they have much better operations.

The Deli is nothing without Felicia. She was the force of the deli! Previously I’d come get in & out within 10 minutes of arriving @ the deli with a perfect sandwich. NOW… I have to stand @ the deli @ least 10 – 15 minutes before being told«we will be with you in one minute». & my sandwich is all soggy before I can even get home because it’s soooooo much sauce. BRINGBACKFELICIA!!! She deserves a Promotion! Even the fellow deli workers agree!!!

As a grocery store who serves the community of Vallejo… Why don’t you carry the Vallejo Times Herald? This is sad news for the city of Vallejo and more on a personal level I drove here and got out of my car into my wheelchair to get told by the manager her that he’s sorry that they don’t carry VTH here, but I can fill out a survey complaint. The whole city of Vallejo needs to get it together!

Nice Safeway. Clean and friendly people. The organic section is amazing. Much better than most other supermarkets in the area. The vegetables are always fresh and kept clean. There’s a Starbucks in this Safeway as well.

I stopped by Safeway on Robles yesterday to use the wells fargo atm. It was probably around 3 or 4pm, and I was hoping that I would find parking easily and get in and out. When I pulled up into the parking lot there was a car backing out right in front for the«VIP parking,» or «Playa parking,» or my cousin calls it «Princess parking.» So I parked right in front of the store and went in. Score! No line to use the atm. Mission complete. But then I turn around and the place is packed and crowded with shoppers with only 3 registers open. The deli had a line at least 6 deep. Pretty busy, pretty crazy. Hats off and 3 stars for the people working the registers and the deli that have to deal with all the madness, brought by daily shoppers, every single day. Keep up the good work.

Safeway here is big, lots of parking, lots of display space. noticed sign safeway has been in benicia since 1927. whatever. doubt any original shoppers still shop here. couldn’t afford too unless they’re homeowners. beers just average microbrew offerings. to get best deal, must buy six. big bottles.(save 10%) a reviewer mentions going for higher income clientele and lower income patrons at the same time. now i get it. soak the poor, give benefits to the rich. sounds familiar. buys: sammie(5.45) –it’s ok, not overpaying, just a generic sammie –short line. take outs: –doubtful return(unless i win a lottery) –safeway associates are so nice, it’s corporate that s…

Recently ordered a cake for a birthday, it looked good at first nothing out of the ordinary. When it was time to do the cake cutting I noticed that there was way more frosting than actual cake it was like one half frosting and one half cake. I was none the less left unimpressed with the Bakery’s work at this particular store. So if you are looking for an overly sweetened cake then this is for you but if your like me and prefer to actually taste the cake go elsewhere.

Was in the area and stopped by the worse Safeway ever. They don’t stock up produce or inventory and have about 20 plus people waiting in two open lanes. They obviously haven’t heard of 3’a a crowd. Horrible Safeway and the people aren’t even friendly here!

Go somewhere else. Overpriced, sad looking produce, unappealing deli meats, and never enough employees working. Come on, it’s not like Safeway is new at this, how do you not know that it gets busy in the evenings? How is it that every time I’m in a Safeway there’s only 2 check stands open, despite the lines being 10 people deep? Ridiculous.

Clean, nice, and most if not all aisles are open!!! This is a huge selling point for me since the safeway in cordelia is terrible!!! Staff is friendly and checkout is a breeze. Love this store! Thanks again!

Horrible service, never enough checkers. Self checkout closed by time most people are off work. Safeway as a whole is a joke

This Safeway try’s to meet both a higher income clientele and a low income. Unfortunately they don’t excel at either. They have some organics, but it’s a tiny section. Also they save by understaffing the checkout so expect long lines
