They don’t accept cards, the eggs benedic was watery, the bread was burnt, the hash browns were dry. The turkey sandwich was watery and water was literally dripping from it. The coffee mug had lipstick mark on them. This was my first and last time I will go to this place.

Bring cash they don’t accept cards. There is an atm but it charges 2 bucks to withdraw money. We were driving home from the coast to Sacramento and Googled breakfast places and found scottys. It was busy and the owner seems to have a great relationship with the regulars. She was very nice. We got omelettes and they were good. The pancake is small and kinda flat but has good flavor. The coffee is really good and they also sell donuts which is random but cool.

Nice, cute little local restaurant with nice people working. I wouldn’t say the food is the best out there, but considering their prices and size of their restaurant, I think they’re doing great. :)

Awesome and friendly staff. Fast and great service. My only complaint is they only take cash.

Decided to go here when another breakfast spot was rude. Awesome omelette, my son had the kids pancake meal and he ate every bite! He is a picky eater to say the least. It was very busy In there almost a line out the door when I went to pick my order up. However the waitresses were still friendly. The French toast was okay probably wouldn’t order it again but that is personal preference. The down side is they do not take credit or debit and there is no flavored creamer for the coffee. All in all I would definitely go back for the omelet and kids meal.

Perfect for off the beaten path breakfast. The donuts were so pillow soft and airy I had to stop myself. The breakfast was good and came out quick. This is a place like cheers the staff seems to know all the regulars and hugs happen when you walk in the door! The place is small but if you can land a seat you are in for a treat. Don’t pass it up!

This is the best breakfast restaurant in Solano county. Yes, Bab’s in Suisun is very good too, but this hidden gem is better, in my opinion. It’s not as well-known, probably because it’s in an «ok» area of Vallejo. It’s not too far off the freeway and there’s usually not a long wait, which is common at some other breakfast places. I had the waffles, scrambled eggs, and ham special, which also came with orange juice, at a very reasonable price. Scotty’s is also very well-known for its donuts, which are the best ones in this area. The service is great, the food is delivered quickly, and this is definitely a place that you would likely frequent again and again. One caveat: they only accept cash. This is strange, especially now that we’re living in a digital world that’s starting to minimize the need to carry cash, but it is what it is. A small price to pay for great food.

Went here for breakfast on a Monday. The food came out fast and hot. The service was fine. The booth was old and felt like it was missing some padding. With a little attention to comfort and restrooms, this place could be better.

When I first came to scottys i had never even heard of this place before and I must’ve drove past this café numerous times. LOCATION: It’s on a busy street right off of Tennessee Street in Vallejo, with a small grocery center across the street, the freeway towards Sacramento and San Francisco are about less than 4mins away from the café. So I would think it’s in a pretty prime location of Vallejo. FOOD: The food is delicious, first time I came here I feel in love with the French toast and Country Fried Streak(I recommend both of them) I’ve also tried the pancakes and the Omelette both are on my recommendation list. The country fried steak gravy isn’t to thick the food is flavorful o be a café spot! RESTAURANT: The restaurant screams old fashion café! They have doughnuts and coffee for sale at the front, if you’re in a rush and need to grab something and go! It’s cash only. The café looks like it has been opened for a very long time, the structure of things is old fashioned and sometimes old fashion is good fashion! The employees here are very friendly people, you can tell they get a lot of the same faithful customers: the employees knows a lot of people that comes by name and what they already want to eat. All in All I recommend Scotty’s

This place is the quintessential American Breakfast Diner. Every time I walk in I have been treated like I’ve been a customer for many years. Not only is the service personable, no matter how busy it may be, the food is filling and reasonably priced. The pancakes are cooked perfectly, omelettes excellent, but the breakfast sandwiches are the reason I come for Sunday breakfasts, hungover or not, and will continue to take my business here as long as I live in Vallejo.

The most basic café breakfast diner I’ve been to. Absolutely nothing stands out. Service was nice but a little lacking. Wouldn’t come here again.

Came with the girls after we finished a week of exams. Coming from SF where brunch is the most popular meal of the day, I was not very satisfied with the overall quality and ambiance of the restaurant. I ordered the omelette which came with bell peppers, sausages, and cheese with a side of hash browns and toast. The egg was very fluffy and moist but the overall flavors of the filling for the omelette was lacking. They specified that there would be a spicy kick to the omelette but I did not taste any as I was eating the dish. The hash browns were also very soft and not crispy at all. I like my hash browns extra crispy with that nice crunch when you first take a bite of it. Unfortunately, I did not get the same experience with this dish. However, given Vallejo has a limited selection of brunch spots, this place does the job of providing classic breakfast options for those who are looking for a hearty meal in the morning.

I absolutely LOVE Scotty’s! Wonderful service, cozy atmosphere, huge portions, and delicious donuts! I usually get a bacon, ham, and avocado omelette with sour cream and it never disappoints! It also comes with toast and hash browns, and it is easily enough food for two people. One of my favorite aspects of Scotty’s is that the food is never overly greasy. Huge win and a rarity for a diner! Scotty’s truly has the basics or great food and great service down pat, and it will continue to be my go-to breakfast spot in Vallejo!

What an awesome find!!! We were on our way to Napa and we’re searching Unilocal for a breakfast spot and saw this place and decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did. It’s a home town diner full of locals and they made us feel right at home. The menu has so many great options it was hard to choose. I went with an omelet that was made to order and was the size of a catchers mitt and hash browns made to perfection. The quality, the quantity, the price, the service were all 5 star. This is a great place for breakfast!

Scotty’s has donuts for real, not pricing, not much selection. just went for the coffee brew: peerless hazelnut coconut(m1.95) –self service, tasted fresh drips: –fairly, prompt service –parking lot parking available.

Just your average breakfast diner in Vallejo! It gets crowded in here. Donuts are good, and the menu is big. You’ll find something you like, whatever it is. I usually go for biscuits and gravy, and it’s good here, albeit nothing special. I also ordered a side of sausage patties on my last visit, but they were sooooo greasy. Not the best. My dad is an almost-every-day-regular, and he and my brother come almost every Sunday together, too. If I lived in Vallejo still, I would probably come more, too. But I maybe come once or twice a year now.

I have to say I don’t go to nor-cal often and eat at little places like this but i’m sure glad i looked to Unilocal to find breakfast, this place was great! We were going on vacation to San Francisco and my wife Unilocaled this place a donut shop? Not really only donuts but its a whole diner, we got everything on the menu but donuts. The food was all good and the waitress were even cooler then most, felt right at home. I would seek this place out again if i find myself up there again. Try not to have to use the bathrooms and CASHONLY.
