This place f***ing sucks. I only went in for a gel polish change on my toes. The nail tech was rushing the whole time. The place looks like it has roaches, and my tech looks like she hadn’t bathed in a week. Never coming here again.

This, is one of the worst nail salons I’ve been too. Nail girl was so rude didn’t speak one word to me only concerned about getting a tip. She cut my cuticles which is a no no because it makes them callous. I was a Manicurist myself for over 12 yrs. I never tell them so I can see if they know what their doing. No conversation just busy talking in their language to each other. Wonder if their talking about you. Nails, looked sloppy, pedicure ok nothing special. Don’t let them use drill on your feet this is another NO NO.

This nail shop is good with eyebrows and simple manicures do not go there for a full set. The work is sloppy and they hurt me, there were bibles in my polish and acrylic on my skin. My friends paint messed up and all the lady did was paint over is so the nail still looked messed up and bunched up where she painted the prices are ok but anything out side of a simple full set hikes it up if you’re taking your young daughter to get her nails manicured that’s fine but I don’t suggest anything more

READ THE REVIEWS PEOPLE!!! Don’t come here!!! They do everything in such a rush that it turns out horrible. Painful cuticle trims and bad paint jobs all around. Just not cool. I wish I didn’t have to pay for this because I’m just going to get it redone somewhere else.

The guy workers are always the best when it comes to doing nails! This place is my go to, MOST of the workers are really friendly and have great service but SOME of the female workers have attitudes. But overall I’m content. I recommend going to the 2 male workers and I think her name is My?

When we walked in I already felt a bad vibe… it just got worse, place looked dirty, doesn’t look like they sterilize the equipments was really needed our nails done and this was our free time… so I got a gel manicure and I’ve never seen any nail salon use the Electric nail thing (idk what it’s called) to file your real nails just for a manicure, I didn’t like that, but no biggie. Then it was time for her to paint my nails, SHE COULD NOT PAINT !!! Nail polish was all over my cuticles, she would’ve let me leave like that, but I told her she need to fix that. ONCE AGAIN she uses the electric nail file to take the gel polish off my cuticles, when she was finished it looked like it was time to get my nails done all over again… She must’ve seen my facial expressions because she repainted them! It’s not the best but I can deal for two weeks.
Now my mom got a pedicure and a gel manicure, the man she got barely spoke English, the other women had to translate multiple times, they tried to use the electric nail file on my mom she refused! She asked them to match as close as they can the colors of mood changing blackish greyish gel nail polish to a regular nail polish, all of them were acting so confused ! It was ridiculous so a lady ended up getting the same color as my mom and she tells the man that’s painting her nails to do it like the other lady’s because it matched perfectly with the gel nail polish… Epic fail! The other lady had a black on the bottom and a light grey/​silver coat on the top, when I tried to explain it to him how she did HE ROLLED HIS EYES like how freaking rude are you ! So my mom ended up getting mad and was like she will go somewhere else to find someone who can match it… Then he started painting it, turned out totally wrong!
We felt like they were talking about us in whatever language lol
In the plus side they had really pretty gel mood changing nail polish and my aunties eyelashes look good…

Haven’t been here in years! This will be my last time coming here. I felt my nails were just OK.

I went in this afternoon and requested a gel french manicure. The lady kept trying to up-​sell me to get tips or fake nails even when I explained to her that I must have my nails short to not puncture a glove at work in the hospital.
Once she finally started on my nails, she immediately cut the side of my thumb and tried not to let me see it. When it kept bleeding, she kept putting drops of oil on it that did not look sanitary and did not help with the bleeding. I now have a gross cut on the side of my thumb when I wanted my nails to look nice for an event this weekend.
It was also not a very relaxing experience as she put the UV light gel machine on my lap the entire time, which was very bulky and overheated. She hummed and sang off key throughout the manicure as well. The massage could not have lasted more than 5 seconds per hand. What really put me over the edge is she seemed to think that my $ 5 tip was inadequate even after she’d made me bleed! They have also raised their prices significantly. Safe to say, I will not be back! Please message me if someone has a recommendation for a good nail salon in Vallejo.

Don’t go to the lady with the table against the back wall!!! She sucks and when you tell her the nail is messed up she gets upset. After telling her my nails were messed up and arguing with her about it for 5 to 10 minutes she only fixed it after the gel peeled off infront of her and she charged me for it!!! I can’t wait for MY to come back

Nope, wont be coming here again. I went for a pedicure to treat myself for my upcoming birthday. I needed a standard pedicure with just a lil more attention to my heels s and wanted me to get the spa treatment. I told her, I didn’t want all that as I didn’t have the time. the spa treatment just entailed a scrub and mask… it still wouldn’t suffice the heels I needed extra care for. How do you go to a place for a half-​done job and in the end, the lady filed and burn the end of my big toe cuticle with her power drilled file, drawing blood. She just dipped it in the water like it was nothing until I insisted to sterilize with alcohol. Folks its a day later and its still hurting. Dont go there.

Walked in and Lee greated and told me to sit in # 1 even thoe she had a customer on #2. She then noticed some rough skin and suggested the deluxe pedicure, by that time she started talking to my six year old boy, who got a little too confortable with the conversation and just made everyone laugh. I understand she has to treat customers good so we can return but this lady went above and beyond in my opinion. At the same time another lady walked in asking for a full set and probably left uncomfortable since she was told by another manicurist to just come back latter. I felt bad since she was neglected by another employee just like I was at the other nail place down the street.

Always gave this salon a chance but I believe this will be the last. First off the guy who fixed my broken nail rushed and shaped my nail all wrong. So now one of my nails looks totally off from the rest. Secondly, he rushed painting my nails and didn’t even put it under the black light like everyone else. He expected me do hand dry them. No one didn’t even pay attention to me and I could of easily walked out, but of course I wouldn’t do that. (Which I might as well have after this shitty service) the lady told me $ 8 for color change and broken nail. I handed her $ 10 expecting to get change back like normal. She kept my $ 2 without even asking for tip. I was only going to tip $ 1 at least for shitty service when I shouldn’t of tipped at all. She patted me on the arm and was like «ok thank you» and kept my change without even asking me. Horrible customer service!

Very friendly staff and affordable. I had to wait quite a bit but they were pretty busy and its 4^th of July so no complaints about time. I was sadden the massage chair wasn’t on the whole time I sat there. You can’t control it yourself. I paid for the deluxe pedicure but it felt like a regular pedicure compared to other salons I been to. But as I said before it was reasonably priced at $ 25 so I’m not too disappointed. I wish she was a little more aggressive in the feet scrubbing and massage. The gentleness was pretty ticklish for me lol… But overall not too shabby. Btw no uv light for drying nail haha. that’s a first for me

The room she took me in for a brazillian was very dirty. Dirty black marks on the chair and towel. I was expecting her to change the towel but instead rushes me to get on the chair without privacy. Then afterwards rushes me to get dressed (again without privacy). I’m honestly afraid to look down there. I’m surprised I got charged $ 40 for that experience.
The pedicure was fine. Subpar at best. Especially for $ 15.
Being able to laugh with my friend while all of this was being done to us. Priceless.

They’ve improved greatly. I don’t have to wait, even with an appointment. And they totally take care of their return customers. I don’t want to recommend who’s the best because I want to hog them for myself, lol. I have a pedicure and acrylic fill today and got the best foot massage and also a nice little hand massage. Their tools and stations seem to be clean and sanitary which is always a big concern of mine. My nails have never looked better, or lasted this long. I can go almost 3 weeks in between services. I highly recommend this salon. And ok… Mai is my #1 choice and her sister Kim is right behind her. My mom’s absolute favorite is Kim. So there you have it. Give them a try and enjoy!

Today was the first time I attended unique nails because I had a gift certificate. After reading so many negative reviews I was scared to even go in but I decided to give it a shot. I called in this morning and made an appointment with Kim. She was very patient being that I had my baby niece with me. She did an amazing job and did exactly what I asked her. I am giving this place 4 stars because aside from all the negative reviews my experience was great and the shop was very clean and neat.

The sisters at Unique Nails outdid themselves again! I’ve had my nails done in Napa, SF, Walnut Creek, LA… I can’t believe I found this place in Vallejo. Beautiful work and great prices!

Service was decent. However quality was bad, I just got my gel nails yesterday and there’s already air bubbles on my nails and it already chipped. As well as the clean up of my nail is bad. It’s cheap looking

Rude, can’t relax since they are tugging my legs and arms at the same time. I have short arms and the lady was pulling my left arm across my body to the right where it didn’t reach. Uncomfortable! My nails are messy, fingers are painted on the pads, my daughters nails are not fully painted. They kept asking my 11 year for upgrades; I’m paying the bill. Ask the parent not the child.
