Jason and Collen are amazing. They purchased, delivered, and assembled Ikea furniture and did so perfectly. Not only are they more affordable than Ikea’s usual delivery, but they are much faster and very clean and nice. I give them my highest recommendation and will not hesitate to ask for their help when I need it again.

i wanted a big wardrobe from IKEA, no way it was going to fit in my car. IKEA delivery charges were outrageous. during my research found upstate hauling, filled there online form and next day in morning i get a nice detailed invoice explaining all the charges. i paid money via paypal and got a call from Jason to schedule delivery and installation. Jason and Colleen came right on time and did a perfect installation.
i highly recommend Jason and Colleen, not just for delivery but also installation of any IKEA items.

Being on the Central Coast, we’re blessed with a beautiful landscape and small communities. With that comes a price: you’re forced to ship or travel for certain items. We just purchased our house and needed to fill it up with some storage options. It was a perfect time to look at IKEA.
Little did we know that there isn’t an IKEA anywhere near us. Shipping was outrageous ($ 349, even if you order an $ 89 shelf), and there is no way that an LTL shipping service (FedEx Freight, Conway, etc) would have my items at my door without some sort of damage. There’s just too many points of contact/​handling between the shipper, dock/​s transfers and delivery. Not to mention that the driver cannot inspect each item when he/she’s picking up at the distribution center.
I’m glad I found Upstate Hauling on Craigslist because they go directly to the store to purchase your items for you, pack it in their trailer and then take straight to your doorstep. In doing so, they can make sure they’re not picking up a damaged/​iffy box for their customer. It’s also nice to know that they aren’t carrying other types of freight in their trailer that can cause damage to my items. My shipping cost (based on a percentage of the total price of items) was a fraction of IKEA’s, and the boxes arrived in flawless condition.
I look forward to using Upstate again when we get around to furnishing our deck this summer.
