Vallejo RC was my Cheers. Maybe it’s not the biggest and most impressive hobby shop around but it was easily the most friendly and down to earth amd that has to count for something.

Manny — Thanks for the past racing experience. It was so much fun racing back then — along with folks Rivercity RC. It was cool running my MRX3 at your track and I remember battling with Jay with his famous Serpent Impact — that was the best rc ever… sad that you closed down but I predict you will re-open again… salamat po! si Larry MTX3 –prospec/MTX4 Mugen Driver for ever…

I remember comming here when they use to race in Fairfield and on Springs road. I would always take my electric sedan and whoop on all the NITRO cars LOL!!! Customer service has never been these guys forte and neither has pricing. I dont blame the other two reviews. I think to get any kind of real answers from this placeyou need to be part of their«in crowd» if ya know what I mean.

I was just getting into RC’ing and decided to visit my local hobby shop. Not knowing much I bought my first RC car on ebay and it was a no name POS. I went in looking for parts for it and they laughed at me for buying it. Well they might have had parts for it if they carried anything other than HPI parts. So I was gonna upgrade a year later and decided to go back to them. I found a pretty good deal online but, like before, wanted to support local business. I brought the ad in and asked if he could match it and I would buy that day from him. I must caught him on a bad day cause he told me he doesn’t do price matching(only $ 30 difference) and to get out of his store. Great service dude. At least just tell me you don’t price match but don’t throw me out for trying to get a good deal. See you… never!!!

I would support this hobby shop, if they have a lot of selections. However, i do understand when you lack business and finance. In business sense it lacks essence, charisma, appeal, location, and most importantly no sophistication. In finance, a profitable business will only work with a good business plan. One star for having an onroad track.

Interested in racing a loud stinky radio controlled car? Meeting really cool people to help you if you are a novice? Share parts with you? Try Vallejo Nitro RC. Sometimes they are closed but during the summer its almost always open. Check it out. I personally don’t care for it since I don’t like the smell of the ‘gas’ but my husband loves going there. They are located at 2020 Broadway Street, Vallejo across from the oil and cardboard recycling place.
