Radio Shack used to have quality merchandise but in the last 3 months I have bought two phone cords. One really too long one cuz thats all they had that was $ 30! The other one was $ 25 that was coiled to recharge my android. At about 6 weeks they start breaking down getting loose they don’t work anymore I brought them back to RadioShack and they refuse to refund or exchange THEIROWNBRANDS, because it’s more than 30 days, to stand by their product so that’s 55 bucks down the drain for stuff that doesn’t work. They suck!

So I was standing waiting to purchase my item for 10 mins. While another customer walks in, doesn’t wait his turn, gets an open register because an employee decides to ignore me, who I was waiting there first. Unless I’m really desperate, or got blinded by a flock if crows and accidentally walk in there. I’m never shopping here ever again. Happy Holidays radio shack.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I wandered in the store for 20 minutes and was never greeted or asked if I needed help. Every man walking in the store was greeted promptly and asked if they needed help. I went to check out and the man in front of me had finsihed then asked a question about the flashlights on the counter. The«manager in training» had already started checking me out, but he stopped and proceeded to put batteries into a flashlight to show the man. He never once said«excuse me» to me or tell the other customer that he would show him after he finished my transaction. No wonder Radion Shack is closing down stores.

If you are looking for a phone plan go somewhere else! The employees are clearly not educated on the plans. Unless you would like a nice surprise in your bill(as in double what you were quoted) do not bother. We were also supposed to be signed up for a family plan– wrong. So that also had to be cleared up with the carrier. Save yourself the time and go to the source. The carrier may not have the deal you are looking for in the phone but at least you won’t have a monthly bill that was NOT in your budget.

If no stars were available I would have chosen that! I went to get phones that I was told were in stock. got there and an hour and a half later we were almost done and then they realized they had rung me up for the wrong phone. At this point I was still cool cause stuff does happen, But then they didnt have the phone I was told they have and they had already transferred my phone number to the unwanted/wrong phone leaving me without a phone for the evening. They were able to get me the phone I wanted by the following morning and get it straightened out. Well… here begins part two. I just called Verizon to see if since my employer uses Verizon I get a discount and low and behold I was signed up for two individual plans not one shared family style plan like I asked for. luckly it was caught in time BUT I will still have to pay the premium amount for the few days I was on it. After messing up the phones, which keep in mind I bought two phones with the warranty totaling over $ 600. They were still trying to get me to buy Accessories? after the hassle they put me through they should have used them for some sort of compensation. All in All I have continued to be a loyal customer at this exact location. The phones I purchased were phones 7 and 8 I have bought from that location, NOMORE! I will not be doing business with this store again! I was willing to overlook the phone bumble, BUT after the billing error plus the phone error a Unilocal needed to be left on this transaction!

I have visited this Radio Shack location twice in the past month, and I just had to post a review. Great customer service once could have been a fluke, but twice is a sign of a first class store. Both times I was greeted by the staff(although they were not busy either time) and I had all of my questions answered. Most recently, I ended up buying an OtterBox case for my iPhone and a pack of batteries, and it was a breeze. I appreciate the manager taking time to explain to me the differences between celll plans, too. It will make my decision easy when my contract expires.

I haven’t been to a Radio Shack in years and decided to stop in to learn about cell phone options as my Verizon plan is pushing me to the«Share Everything» data route. I wanted to learn about ALL my options before switching and knew Radio Shack carried multiple cell phone providers. I was pleasantly surprised at how much the store manager knew as he walked me through the data plan coverages for the different providers including Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc. He restored my confidence in good ol’ brick and mortar retail stores while providing me with insight and knowledge that would’ve taken me hours scouring blogs, websites, review forums, etc. to figure out. After talking about cell phones and being impressed with his knowledge in mobile carriers we began talking about smart TV’s and how one should begin shopping for one. He was able to tell me about the integrated internet capabilities, user generated content, and the best brands to look for from a value standpoint. My trip that I originally slated for 5 – 10 minutes ending up being a little over an hour. I haven’t had this type of experience at a retail store in a long time and happy the Radio Shack believes in training their employees to be knowledgeable about the products they carry. Keep up the good work!

I grew up with radio shack. I have lived in different parts of the bay area and when I need my radio shack this is the only location I come to. They are helpful and great customer services. The best part is there staff knows what they are talking about. To each of their own. You can make everyone happy but they have made me happy for the past years. Thanks Radio Shack Staff

If only Unilocal allowed for zero stars. I was told the iPhone 4s was in stock and would be put in the back for reservation. Unfortunately I drove from San Jose which took approximately 2 hours to drive there one way. I called multiple times to remind Jordan that I was in traffic but will indeed be there to pick it up. By the time I arrived the iPhone was long gone. I angrily asked Jordan why he sold it, and he did not even have the courtesy to give me a explanation but rather cowardly pawned me off to another Co-worker. The Co-worker told me I was in an apparent race with someone else and radioshack did not have a reservation policy. WHY did I drive up there for 2 hours?! Jordan lied to me. Is that good customer service to you? This employee not only knows nothing about electronics(as he could not answer a customers question) but has no Morales. Great job on the customer service Radioshack!

Stopped in here for a car charger for the iPhone. They had some of the crappiest brands — ones I’ve never heard of, are poorly designed, and are clunky. Clerk did a good job of helping me — but that is not enough to overcome the craptastic selection for this item — C’mon — how hard could it be to carry something like a Griffin PowerJolt Car Charger? — better designed and less expensive.

Where do they find their personnel? The staff here had absolutely no clue as to how to help me connect my Bose headphones to my HDTV’s optical output. Why the fuck not?!? Isn’t that the whole purpose of Radio Shack? They are a consumer electronics store… Of course, if they can’t help me, I’ll have to go online or drive to Fry’s. So be it. They’ve lost my business.
