Wasn’t bad! Went on a quiet night. They did take a little long to bring our food but whatever. Food was okay and the appetizer we had was great. Cute place. The waiter was pretty attentive but I’d be scared to see what they are like when it’s busy.

The atmosphere was great. Went here for valentines day. They gave a rose to my girlfriend. The waiter only showed up twice. Our appetizer came after the other two tables that came in after us. It was burnt. It was also of a children’s menu size. The main courses were of appetizer size. No offer of a refill on our drinks. The waiter had tables across the restaurant and that’s why we only saw him twice. All in all I liked it but I wouldn’t go back.

WOW. This place blew me away on so many levels: We went here for the Teamsters Local 282100th Anniversary Dinner Dance. Having never been here, my friend Jerry told me, «You don’t wanna miss the cocktail hour” — boy was he right. Lobster Station was riiiiiidiculous. Shrimp, roast pig, pretty much whatever you can think of. ELEVEN entrée choices for the main course?! Probably the best time I’ve had out in eons, maybe ever. Had great entertainment-«The USO Girls». I can’t say enough good things about this place. No doubt about it– I’ll be back next year.

Beyond disappointed. $ 16 for a penne vodka and they can’t even fill the to-go plate. Plus it was beyond salty. Never again!

Sorry no pictures b/c I didn’t have enough storage I started with a soup not sure what it was called(minestrone I think) which didn’t have much flavor to it. I sent it back. For the main dish I ordered chicken parmigiana. It wasn’t great either. It was very dry. The chicken didn’t have a fresh texture or taste to it. For desert I kept it safe and ordered the lemon sorbe that had a cute décor. The waitress was nice and the establishment was clean. That’s the only reason for the 2 stars. Freezer food taste better than what I had.

Went in Saturday with some friends. Usually come in on Fridays cause we love Angela, the singer– but our friends were in on Saturday. The food was excellent as usual. The waiter needs to go– we had Vinny again and he just gets worse. No personality and just stands in a corner staring into space and gets annoyed if you even ask for something. But still one of my favorite places to eat. And the new manager– Monica is a sweetheart. Very pleasant.

I figured I would try someplace different. After reading other reviews, I thought this place would be OK. First came out the salad that was drenched with dressing. The main course took a long time to come out. The shrimp in frutti de mare were tiny and the sauce was watery. I definitely won’t be returning.

Decided to try this place after all of the raving reviews. Wasn’t really moved by the service or appetizers. Waiter was blah, a man of little words and no charm. Despite the fact that the restaurant was pretty much empty, they sat us at a small table against a wall. I felt so cramped! I had no place to sit my bag. Had to squeeze it between the wall and my lap. smh Not to mention we had no elbow room. The Caesar salad was similar to the waiter. the dressing was definitely NOT Caesar dressing. Tasted more like hot butter. We later found out it was«house Caesar dressing».thanks but no thanks. Our entrees didn’t disappoint however. My lasagna was superb and my boyfriend loved his chicken parm… hence the 3 star rating.

I went with my wife yesterday to Ninos Fine Italian cuisine for dinner using certificate. The restaurant was somewhat crowded but should be that way on Saturday night. The restaurant itself was clean but the lighting was somewhat dim. We were given when we were seated some toasted brushetta and Italian bread. The toasted brushetta pieces were great however the Italian bread was just awful. We then ordered two appetizers a 10 inch pepperoni pizza and fried zucchini. They were both excellent especially the zucchini sticks which were like julienne fries and were unique and superb although 11.00 was a bit high priced for the pizza. We the ordered a eggplant parm and chicken parm dinners. Both were excellent and flavorful. Service by our waiter Enrique was very good, responsive and friendly but a bit harried at time due to the large number of tables he was serving. The price to value ratio here is about average for this type of restaurant. All in all this was a very good to excellent experience and I look forward to returning in the near future.

So this is my parents favorite Italian restaurant. They enjoy coming here for date nights and special occasions. So I’ve been here at least three times and every time I have a good time and enjoy my meal. The service is excellent. Staff are friendly and professional. Food… So I always get some type of fish when I come here. Next time I come here I’ll share the food I order and go into how it taste. Just wanted to share how awesome this place is and if ever in the area check it out.

Came here from Brooklyn for a surprise Birthday dinner for my mother. This restaurant was a random selection(didn’t even check the reviews). Mia was very accommodating(even when my guest list increased two days before the event). The space was perfect, the food was fulfilling(good also), staff was very friendly. Most important, my mother had a great birthday dinner and we all had a good time.

An exceptional value for a local Italian restaurant. When we arrived we had a warm welcome from the host. Mia stopped us at the table and welcomed us for coming. The waitstaff was excellent and helpful. We went on Friday when they have a female vocalist singing everything from Carole King to Patsy Kline. The complimentary bruschetta and bread was very good. The appetizers were decent prices and portions. The Mia’s salad with beets and assorted greens was delicious. The menu would appealed to all appetites, as well, as the prices. The specials were awesome and the dishes on the regular menu looked excellent. I had the chicken saltimbocca which was a decent portion and very tasty. Everyone was very happy with their dishes which were filet of sole, and other chicken dishes. I would highly recommend this fine dining gem. Enjoy the food and the dining.

My wife and I go there at least 2 times per month. The food is good, Mia and her staff provide attentive service. Try the Branzino with the oil/garlic sauce.

Great food and great people. I’ve been here several times and my parents have been here with friends even more. They can’t stop talking about it and we just got a party catered by them as well. NOCOMPLAINTS.

I was a little hesitant about coming here because of the mixed reviews, but the entire experience was great! I came here with my boyfriend for a nice dinner and the food was amazing. The service was on par as well. The waiters are very attentive and the food comes out fresh and quick. I ordered the pasta Primavera with shrimp which was«da bomb» and my boyfriend had the eggplant parmigiana which was excellent as well. We paired it off with 2 nice glasses of white zinfandel and we were stuffed! Not to mention the portions are just right. We will be coming back here in the future.

Tried Mia’s for the first time in Feb. Lovely décor, good service, good food, reasonable prices. Only complaint — the lamb chops were medium, not medium rare as requested. Went again last Sunday for our anniversary celebration. NEVERAGAIN!!! My husband ordered a vodka gimlet, straight up, but instead got a gimlet on the rocks in a wine glass with a straw. Sent that back for one made correctly. We ordered 2 appetizers for the table(4 adults): the fried calamari was very good. The mussels marinara stunk. Had to send the order back. Most of the mussels were closed; the rest were the size of peas; tasted one — really bad. Ordered a margarita pizza for the 2 children. Asked that half be with pepperoni. It was not pepperoni, but instead tasted like some fatty salami — awful tasting. I ordered the chicken caprese(chicken cutlet over a bed of arugula, tomatoes & fresh mozzarella). What came to the table was a joke. The chicken was burnt; next to it was a mound of arugula; next to that, one slice of unripe tomato; next to that, a tiny piece of mozzarella. No dressing of any kind — it was so dry & unappetizing. My husband ordered pasta with broccoli rabe & sausage. It came without the sausage! We ordered a bottle of chianti for the 4 adults. When finished, we ordered another bottle, but were told they were all out, so we had to order a different wine. Oh, & let us not forget dessert time. We ordered espresso, but the waiter came back to inform us that the espresso machine had no pressure. The cannoli filling was thinner than it should be & too sweet. In all fairness, our waiter was a joy & very pleasant. Also, did the right thing and took the mussels & my chicken dinner off the bill. Can look back at last week & laugh now, but it wasn’t funny at the time. P. S. — Next morning, the other lady at our table had a stomach ache. She thinks it was from the Italian cheesecake(the only thing no one else had). P. P. S. — It’s supposed to be an Italian restaurant, but I don’t think any of the food is prepared in an authentic Italian manner.

I’ve come here a few times with just my wife and I, and other times with the family. I’ve never had a bad experience at Mia’s. Their wait staff is always very friendly, and 99% of the time Mia herself is there at the bar. Their food is also very good. They normally bring bread right away and a few pieces of bruschetta. I normally stick with the pasta bolognese, and my wife ventures off into their specials and what not. We’ve never had a problem with the food tasting bad, cold, etc. It’s always been spot on. My only gripe is that their price for a side of meatballs is a little extreme. $ 5 per meatball is a lot, especially since the meatballs aren’t that big. They’re delicious though. Try their chocolate mousse it’s amazing!

Been here twice & both times were great. One of the best italian restaurants on Long Island. 1st for taste, freshness & price. 1st was for my birthday & we had 9 guests & the bill only came to $ 500 w/tip, which is amazing considering everyone got an app, entrée AND dessert. I got the arugula salad w/parmesan & their citrus dressing(why cant i make a simple salad this good at home.?!). For an entrée, mushroom risotto which was perfect & had a lot of roasted garlic, which i love & tiramisu for dessert, which was so creamy & sweet. Most of our party loved their food, a few didnt think their pastas were great, but i can say for myself & my gf that we liked ours so much that we went back 4days later. Again i got the salad, which is addictingly good & decided to get the fish of the day since my brother had said he loved his. It was Branzino, which i’ve never tried before & i’m not a big seafood guy, BUT it was amazing. So fresh, oily & came w/an amazing sauce & healthy veg on the side. I am craving it now & wish more places had it on their menu. As for the other aspects of Mia’s…Yes, the servers arent the friendliest, but they are efficient & do their jobs. I dont need to have a TGIF bubbly waiter kissing my butt at every meal & checking on me 10x’s, i’m an adult, so Mia’s wait staff is good at their jobs & i dont appreciate the other reviewer calling them racist & such. The ambiance is very nice & the restaurant is clean & classy, even their bathrooms lol. Glad i dont have to travel to NYC to get a good & affordable italian meal anymore and will probably go back soon, since i’m craving their salad as i type.

I went here on Saturday with family. I’ve been here before, and the food was okay, nothing special. However, this past Saturday, the food was not very good. The appetizers were not very good. The mussels in red sauce did not smelling appetizing. The fried calamari was pretty bad as well. Almost no one liked it. It had a strange taste. The calamari was either taken out of the freezer and thrown into the deep fryer, or it was old and they refried it. Now on to the main course. I ordered the salmon bruce(I believe that’s what it was called). The fish was salty, and the vegetables were soggy when they were supposed to be grilled. Someone on the table ordered the lamb special. I found the lamb a little rough and with little flavor. As I previously mentioned, I’ve been here before and thought the food was okay, but this last experience was a real turnoff. I wouldn’t recommend.
