I had been shopping around for a while for a bed frame and a couch. I had been doing extensive research and finally found the bed frame of my dreams and couch for a reasonable price. I went to the showroom and Karen, my sales rep was exceptional! She was knowledgable, patient and extremely pleasant. She made sure it was what I wanted and I did not feel rushed. I felt good about my purchase even the following week with no buyers remorse. Thanks so much Karen! 10 stars for her. You are great! As For the warehouse — 2 stars Flip side — I spoke to someone from the delivery warehouse on the date of my delivery and boy was she unpleasant! I had a specific window and apparently my couch was on a truck for an earlier delivery and I was NOT notified. She said«well they are not going to wait for you and you will have to schedule it another day». First off, we agreed to a window.(Not 30 mins sooner) secondly, why get so upset with me when my notes clearly stated the time as I was only excited to move into my new place. She was for sure a buzz kill .The next phone call from her, her tone was entirely different and was super nice because she knows she was wrong?. But why the attitude? Not like she was bringing the couch to my door and I PAID for this delivery. Over 100 to be exact. Delivery 5 stars Luckily, The delivery guys were super great and took their time with my couch. Didn’t bat an eye when they realized they may have to take it up a couple flights of stairs but thank God it fit through my elevator. More so, they were also very pleasant and really professional. The set up was quick and easy and LOVE my couch. Had it not been for Karen and how nice the delivery guys were, I may have turned down the order based off of the one 5 min call. Just wish the woman on the phone who clearly was having a bad day had the attitude, wasn’t that way. She could have really been the deal breaker. From a consumer stand point, no need to get all upset over spilled milk. not at all my fault that the time was written down and communication was not executed properly. If my window is my window, then why be mad at me because I was not there earlier than what was agreed to? I’m giving 5 stars because I won’t let one negative person ruin the rep for the company. :)

On March 5th, I stopped by Raymour & Flanigan’s This is an Amazing place to shop for furniture. The Sale consultant was Natalie Ortega. We just went back yesterday for more furniture after having such a great experience the first time. Both times we went, we were helped by Natalie. She was so awesome, helpful, and knowledgeable of the furniture available in the store and out of the catalogues. My boyfriend and I just cohabited, so we needed some new furniture to help hold all of what we had to merge. We had an Ikea dresser, which barely survived the moving van, and ended up being way too small. At this furniture store, we were able to find an amazing jumbo-drawer dresser of very high quality. We had seen some similar ones at other furniture stores, but the Raymour Flanigan in valley stream had bigger drawers and were of a much higher quality. We also couldn’t beat the price! That day we also bought a desk for our office space. Again — hadn’t found anything else as good at the other furniture stores in queens. So we went back yesterday to get a new bed frame. We needed one with storage space and and it ended up being our last stop! They had beautiful selections and were able to find us options based on the parameters we gave them. The price was amazing and includes delivery and set-up. And since we got such great stuff last time, we cannot wait for this delivery! We know it will be another absolute hit. I would and will recommend this store to all of my Astoria friends in need of new furniture. Such higher quality than Ikea, better prices. Ask for Natalie Ortega @ valley stream Location she amazing!

I got off the phone a couple of hours ago with a rep, and I AGREEWITHEVERYCOMPLAINTONHERE!!! Like IDIOTS my hubby and I decided(just from the looks of the furnitures) that we liked Rip-off and Flanigan merchandise. We’ve had one complaint after the next. Other than being LIED to about warranty, we were also told that what we purchased was leather. With in a year or 2. To be honest maybe more like 2 ½ years so called«leather» started peeling. Even though we conditioned it as needed through weather changes. Omg. This story can go on and on. I’m just soooooo fed up with RIP-OFF and Flanigan that I PROMISE no one that I EVER come in contact with will EVER purchase a single item from them!!!

I am in the market for a recliner and stopped by raymour and flanigan to check theirs out. As we walked into the store one of the male employees immediately offered to help us and said«don’t worry about the prices». We told him to just allow us to look first. I cannot stand when I’m shopping for something expensive and an employee wants to immediately«help» me. So we found a few items we liked and found the gentleman who had greeted us. We asked what their return policy is and the guy picked up the worst attitude and said«this is not clothes shopping, you don’t get to return anything». His attitude was so condescending and sexist. I asked how much for a specific recliner and he said«how much do you want to pay» I told him a price and he said«no way. Get out of here». I was in disbelief over how rude a sales person could be. I was actually interested in purchasing one of the recliners I saw but did not do so because of this horrible attitude I was shown. If I decide to get the recliner I will buy it from another location that does not have employees who look down on women. Avoid at all costs!

This is a great place to shop for furniture. The staff is friendly and always endeavor to give you a good deal. Their showroom in Valley Stream is HUGE-has up and downstairs showrooms the size of mall parking lots! Most of the furniture is mature(meaning classic, and rich looking), but they also have items suitable for kids, and younger people. I like to decorate, and people often compliment my home. Most of my furniture is purchased at R&F. I know that my son will inherit a few nice pieces because most of the furniture is of good quality.(When purchasing, read the customer reviews. Some items are of better quality than others.)
