I thought the purpose of a prescription to be sent electronically was to speed up the wait time. This is the third time I have been here this month and the wait gets longer and longer. It took between about 25 minutes for me to get here today after the dr sent the prescription. Again the pharmacists had not even begun to look into it. I am then told it would be ready in 20 minutes. It has been a half hour and I am still waiting. They use to be reliable but this is strike three. Time to move one.

The four stars is for the Pharmacy. The Pharmacists are always courteous and they fill prescriptions within the time promised. Sometimes even earlier! This location is not even in my town, and I prefer coming here rather than the Rite Aid that is only a few blocks from where I reside. Also, the prices are lower at this location compared to the one in my town! So, when you use your«Plenti» card, you’ll save a lot! Update: March 2016 Stopped in to fill a prescription here recently after 9pm. The Pharmacist advised that the medication I needed was not in stock and it would possibly be in within 2 business days. But I received a text notification to inform me that my prescription was ready the NEXTDAYAT2PM! Love this place. And again, the Pharmacists are very courteous and friendly. Customer service is everything! Keep up the good work guys!

Worst pharmacy in the area! Never come here. The customer service is terrible! Waiting like 15 mins in line to be taken care of. Employees stand around instead of taking care of customers! Terrible pharmacy

I’m not sure of the other branches because Rite Aid isn’t my pharmacy of choice(I really don’t know why). But this branch is more general store than anything else. To me this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I sort of like stores that tailor themselves to suit their environment. Chameleon stores lol. There are rows upon rows of household supplies and household accessories, children’s toys,(Valley Stream) clothes, and I cannot remember whatever else but the general goods far outweigh the«pharmaceutical» products. Hahahaha. It’s a cool branch at the plaza on Merrick rd tuck right between restaurants and nail shops, I imagine they do good business here. The staff more or less keep to themselves unless you seek their attention. I expected them to be a bit friendlier because of the community atmosphere the store itself has. The other pharmacy in this area was really my go to one but RA is closer to me so there’s that… what do they say about location? It’s everything! Marketing 101, you’re welcome. Lol. The End.

It kind of resembles CVS pharmacy. It also kind of resembles Duane Reade pharmacy. Although«they» call this one Rite Aid pharmacy. The question is… which one is the best? Well, let’s say for instance you need imodium, and you need it immediately, the pharmacy that is both open AND in closest proximity to your current location at that very moment in time that has imodium in stock is, without a doubt, the best one.
