TRUE STORY: I will be seen with my naked body before I expose my bare nails. It’s serious like that.
Many women like shoes, some are into hair and makeup, most fashion (or at least style), a few just don’t give a flying… Me? I love nails.
This was my third visit to this nail salon. The shop is very large and clean, especially the toilet, it’s actually quite nice in there. But we don’t go to a nail salon for their toilet. Reception is cold, sometimes a quick smile that’s more like a grimace.
After years of wearing gel polish, I kinda sorta think I know what techniques make the gel polish last longer and look better on MY nails. They don’t listen here, they never follow the process I prefer.
I had a fight my first visit. I lost. This time I stayed quiet.
Fast forward a few HOURS later, my nails have started peeling. My edges aren’t on fleek! Don’t ask to see my cuticles even after almond AND vit E is carefully massaged onto them.
I would like to but don’t have the time to visit the salon to show the tech the results of her work. I snap a pic and Unilocal it. Hell I cannot Instagram that ish so I might as well share it somewhere.
I’m tired. When you know better you do better so I take full responsibility for returning to this spa.
I cannot in good conscience recommend this salon for gel nails.
