This place is amazing! The Mozzarella is unlike any other in NY. Everything is fresh and delicious. Staff is fun and friendly. I Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

I can’t agree with Jennifer M (aka wifey). I’m just not sold on this place. It seems like it at one time was a lot better than it is now. I went for peppers, the stuffed hot ones with breadcrumbs which are delicious and hard to find with the good breadcrumbs. T & F also sells the giant jar of peppers which made a great mothers day gift. Here are my issues: I went in on a Thursday and the brocolli rabe looked old, then I went in on Saturday and it was the same brocolli, same story with some pasta salad they had. It had one scoop missing on Thursday and the same scoop missing Saturday. Eeehh. Some of the other stuff was the same way. Not a good selection of sausauge. I am used to Gemelli in Babylon that has no less than 10 varieties on tap at all times. There was some great looking rice balls though which were fresh on Saturday (not there Thursday). Sorry if this place is better than it seems but first impressions are everything.

yAy for mom and pop Italian specialty stores! My family has been coming here since I was a little girl. I come here to satisfy my hot stuffed pepper w/​breadcrumb addiction. They even give us a deal on the big huge industrial sized jars because my pregnant ass craves them so much. I used to go to Valencia in Lynbrook for them until they started making them themselves with real breadcrumb and they taste like ass.
T&F has a fine selection of Italian meats and goodies — hot & sweet peppers, stuffed w/​prosciutto or breadcrumb which is surprisingly hard to find around here! I can’t find any place in Queens like this and I just can’t understand it. T&F is worth the trip, wherever you live.
