Teena is as lovely and warm as her serene space and she is a wonderfully gifted body worker! My 8 year old daughter wanted to do a mother/​daughter massage for Mother’s Day, so I found Teena by doing a search here on trusted Unilocal.She absolutely lived up to her shining reviews.
I consider myself pretty finicky when it comes to massage and I was thrilled with both the massage and the facial that I got. The foot massage and mini facial that Teena gave my daughter made her feel so grown up and pampered and it was all she had hoped for. I highly recommend Teena for all your spa needs :)

Teena is amazing and I highly recommend her! My husband, my father-​in-​law and I have all gone to her for massages and all agree she gives one of the best massages we’ve ever had. I am 7 ½ months pregnant and had been feeling quite uncomfortable but Teena’s pregnancy massage made me feel sooooo much better! Not only are her hands gifted but she is a sweet person with great energy. You won’t be disappointed!

While I’ve moved far from Spirit Dance, I still make the pilgrimage into Valley Village to see Teena. She’s absolutely the best, intuitive and healing, and I can just feel myself melting when I walk into the spa, natural scents, waterfalls, and tranquility. She takes the time to get to know you and your preferences. I’ve never had to ask her to adjust pressure, location, anything. Teena is a true practitioner, unlike the all the massage mill places popping up. She’s turned around injuries for me in a single session.
I started seeing Teena when her spa was on Laurel Canyon, but I prefer the laid-​back feel of her current home-​based spa. Everything is well-​appointed, from the heated massage table and peaceful décor to the private bathroom and shower for client use. The setting is private and surrounded by beautiful gardens and is even more of an escape from the stresses of the city.

WOW! Teena is the best! Seriously, I had been looking in the Valley for what seems like AGES for a great massage and I have FINALLY found it at the Spirit Day Spa. I get massages every week and had not yet found ‘the one’…I’m so glad I didn’t give up and head back over to West Hollywood where I used to live because Teena is AMAZING! I felt like I was in another world and left there feeling the most relaxed I’ve felt in a long long time. She is so nice and pulls out all the stops to make you feel like you are in a secret sanctuary of peace and comfort… she is a miracle worker. THANK YOU TEENA! I am going to tell everyone I know about her… she is truly the best! :)

Teena is brilliant.
First, she makes you comfortable, then she makes you feel better…
Honestly, that’s the deal, and the point of receiving massage therapy and bodywork in the first place. Why go somewhere to be seen and sold?
The space she’s created is perfect. As familiar as your own bedroom, but not, so it’s always a treat. She herself is such an attuned person, you benefit from the calm she exudes as much as the work she does. Teena invites (but doesn’t initiate) feedback, then offers solid insight from her receptive-​yet-​objective pov.
In my opinion, she is the very definition of a wise woman.

Amazing, relaxing atmosphere and Teena has magic hands! I swear I go somewhere else during her incredible massages! I also highly recommend the Raindrop treatment — completely healed a back problem I had been having.

EXQUISITE! Seriously… Teena’s incredibly relaxing «Signature Massage is unbelievably relaxing!!» She has a variety of delicious services on her menu, and each one is in itself amazing. She also offers combos for a discount. The amazing surroundings are tranquil and truly beautiful. You feel as if you’ve been transported to a vacation paradise. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR… Go!!!

What a treasure. The whole experience is wonderful and relaxing from beginning to end. Every detail of comfort is tended to and the massages are AMAZING.
When I was pregnant with twins, it was Teena’s pregnancy massages that got me to almost full term! I was able to relax and she took such good care of me (and my babies).
The setting of her backyard, with the spa in the guest house, the patio and fish pond all make for great experience.
In keeping up with the downward spiral of the economy, Teena has created some really affordable packages, smart woman!

I had forgotten how good she is!
I went to her about a year ago and thought she gave me the best massage I’ve ever had. Due to lack of money, I hadn’t been going to see her… until last night. I had the lymphatic drainage massage. Superb!
FYI — This isn’t your generic day spa. She runs her spa out of her home… basically, her lush green, spacious backyard which includes a pool (for Watsu treatments), a covered cabana for outdoor massages or body scrubs, and a guesthouse which is so beautifully and comfortably decorated for the indoor massages and facials. Everything is so serene!
I was told that she caters to private spa parties, too. You have to see it to believe it but I’m dying to have a private party here.
My next massage here? I’m going to try the Couple’s Massage. Both 1 ¼ hour massages are side by side in the guesthouse. I was told you pay up front and once the massages are complete, you have free reign of the guesthouse without interruption where you can drink wine, eat fruit and cheese and depending upon the weather… a lit fireplace. All of that provided for you.
Give this place a try… it’s so worth it!
