The Landing Bar & Grill

I gotta tell you, I am very surprised by the Landing. Not only do they have a good selection of beer, their food is really good. I have been here several times and every time I get something different on the menu. You would think this would be your typical local bar food but they have done a good job of creating a menu that exceed your expectations. Also with the expanded outdoor seating you can enjoy some fresh air when the weather is decent.

Complete crap! Out of Beef on Weck at 7:11pm. The only reason I came here. So disappointing… Not coming back.

The food is solid, the wings were actually great; the cheese fries were a little bland, but nothing a little salt and pepper couldn’t fix.
Here’s why 3 stars, not 5. There were all of 3 of us there (it’s early lunch hour on Saturday), and the server (creepy, middle aged guy with blonde hair and glasses) who continues to refer to his fellow employees as ‘girl’, very loudly boasts about his previous night’s date, CUP SIZE AND ALL, to the other staff. I’m not a prude, and we’re all grown-​ups here, but in a pindrop-​quiet restaurant, how do you not know what’s appropriate to talk about in front of customers? Props to Mercedes, the bartender/​saint who put up with Creepy McCreepyson’s bragging.

My husband and I have visited here three times so far, and everything we’ve ordered has been excellent! Prices are very reasonable too!

Actually I really wanted to be a part of the 5 star club. My husband and I wanted to try a new place and wanted to sit outside so we sat on your patio. Sat at a 2 top. We weren’t greeted for like 5 minutes. When we were we ordered our drinks which took a few more. Asked for lemon in my water. No lemon. It then took a while for him to come and take our order. Our server did not make us aware of the daily special. That would of been nice. I later found out on fb. My husband wanted another beer and, AGAIN, took a while. Just no sense of urgency. He was chatting with a 4 top about his previous place of employment of how they cut him from bar tending and I now know why. Finally got our food and it was delicious. Your wings and pizza was good. We will definitely be back to try your other menu items but I prefer a different server.

We come here for wings and they are good. Just ask for extra sauce because the come out dry on the outside.

The Landing has had a 180 degree makeover in the last year. It’s a great place to gather & eat. Daily specials (Friday — Beer battered fish & more, Thursday — Bacon Day, etc.) keep the menu interesting. The quality has vastly improved as well. Live music on Fridays (begins @ 9:00), Motown Wednesdays, Trivia Night, Corn Hole, & Karaōke give everyone reason to stop in. They also have special events (Super Bowl Party, Fat Tuesday Celebration, St Patrick’s Day Party, etc.) in which they create themed menus with delicious options. Great salads, flatbreads, pizza, sandwiches, & entrees. Love this place!

Not familiar with the old management, but after eating here for the first time, I can say that the current management knows good food! Had dinner here recently, and the service and food were great! I like that it’s also open late for those nights I get stuck late at work. I have somewhere I can go and have a good meal at a late-​night hour. I also liked the menu selections. There are enough items on the menu to satisfy my multiple food cravings! I’ll definitely try this place again. So glad I found it!

I like eating at the landing because I can take my kids along and we can all have a nice time. The pepperoni pizza was good but the supreme was soggy. I usually get a salad which is always good but served on a plastic plate. It’s a little overwhelming and gaudy that they have so many specials and coupons etc. if you have their app they are always sending notifications. Which in turn seems desperate. Overall the food is good. I would go there with my kids but probably not on a date night when we have a sitter!

This place never lets me down. We have been going almost once a week. Sorry if I spell the staff’s names wrong but Sheri who basically runs the bar and the seating around it is just a gem. They are so lucky to have her. She knows her stuff and has such an amazing and caring personality. It’s like home when we go. The owner Tracy always says hello and takes the time to get to know any of our new guests. So rocks. The wings, all the apps, the pizza, anything with bacon there gosh I can go on and on. Thanks for being our fav local spot.

We had the wings and they were OK. Sauce very oily and a little bland. The salsa was full of cumin and bland. The drinks were OK. The Caesar dressing was watery and full of lemon. Again fair but could be a little better.

I really love the landing, maybe it’s because I live in twin lakes and really love their wings. It reminds me of a wing sauce I had as a kid and is delicious. Food is consistent and vey good.

Great service and love their use of the #lovethelandinglife which gives you discounts while dining in. Like how it’s truly a bar & grill and whether you want a drink or want a full dinner it’s a good mix for both. I have found the good to be a bit inconsistent as the last 2 times the food was a bit over-​cooked. Although the food the other times before were very good. If you want a drink with a friend, take the family for a meal, or to have some co-​workers for a happy hour it will serve you well.

Ok. Coupon in the mail, quiet Saturday night, Jessica E says lets go out to eat. Now we are bar food kinda peeps. Let me say, prime rib night and we ordered apps. Jess sees pizza fries. Ordered. is a flat bread and was awesome. The portion is too much for my beer gut. Leftovers yay. Now the pizza fries, all I did was pick off the pepperoni. There is a pizza chain back home called Donato’s, I miss the crisp edeges and small spicy bits. Tasty. All in all a great experience and Amber was great keeping the drinks refreshed and they have daily specials. A must return for our palates.

Food is mediocre, but they have a good beer selection and friendly bartending/​wait staff. The female manager that I met is also really friendly. Good place to go out on a Friday or Saturday night for a neighborhood-​bar atmosphere. I wouldn’t go there for the food, I go there to drink and maybe get something to snack on while I’m there

Interesting tap selection, but this place has the ignominious distinction of being between upper-​middle class Fishhawk and rural Confederate Flag Lithia, so the crowd attraction is a bit… rowdy. Apparently the new food is pretty good, but we didn’t stick around to try it.
Bonus points to the old guy who kept telling the bartender I was paying for his drink when I most certainly was not.

Not a bad neighborhood bar. Drink selection is really good and the food is about average. Wait staff is great and the facility is very clean.
I came here on a Sunday late-​afternoon to hang with a buddy. There is lots of dinning/​table space, and the bar has around 15 – 18 seats. There are around 16 beers on tap; everything from IPA, dark, lagers, cider, and some cheap stuff. They also have several bottles and cans (I only got a PBR tall boy when I wasn’t drinking draft).
We also decided to order food. I got the buffalo chicken sand. with fries and bleu cheese dressing on the side. The sandwich was good. I could tell it was made with real, non-​prepackaged/​processed chicken. That said, the filet was cut uneven, so it was overlooked on the thin end and slightly undercooked (but not raw by any means) on the thicker portion of the breast. It was not over coated with sauce, and the breaking was quite good. The fries were ok — standard fare. The bleu cheese was a disappointment — no bleu cheese chunks at all, telling me it was straight from a bottle.
Overall not a bad local joint. I’m definitely going back and will continue to try the rest of the menu. I can’t wait to try the pork belly sandwich next time. Can’t wait!

Best margaritas in ages. the bacon cheesebread was beyond belief. Quesadilla was awesome. Great atmosphere..
