If you are looking for good prices and terrible service, these are the guys for you. They nickel and dimed me on several things including delivery (they charged me for this) and using my credit card to purchase windows. And my order was no small order — $ 42k of Anderson Eagle windows. And for this, they never even came out to my home, which is under construction, to do measurements in person. Terrible.
In the end, they required me to pay them a week before they delivered product. When I told them I would pay them 2 days before as I wanted to make sure the product was on it’s way, they refused to deliver the product and instead had it delivered to their warehouse. When I asked them to show me proof in our contract that required me to pay them once the product left the manufacturer (which they said was a week before delivery — again more BS), they never provided me proof but instead ignored my requests. They forced me to arrange my own delivery and never refunded the original delivery fee they charged me.
But it does not end there. Both the owner and salesperson were «supervising» my delivery guys when we loaded up the windows. Not only did neither one of them say «thank you for your business», the owner did not say one word to myself nor my dad (who was helping out).
You can certainly grind these guys for good pricing but expect poor service. I would never recommend this company to anyone as I would rather pay a premium for good service.

I had a particular door in mind when we first bought our home 25 years ago and found it here. After the ’94 quake, we had to rebuild our home and JW Door helped enormously. In the succeeding years, I have counted on them to assist me with various problems. They located a specialist to help us with with a complicated pocket-​door issue. Most recently, we have needed help with some windows which require assessment and repair. Mark went out of his way to locate not one but two people to help us through this process. The quality of a business not only includes fine products, but the people who offer them. It is far too infrequent that one finds a company which goes the extra mile and remains in your corner after the sale. Great communicati!

In short, I would never do business with these guys again. They were an organized and created havoc on our project in multiple ways. They ultimately did not take responsibility for their part in the equation and cost us thousands of dollars in product and delays.
Amanda — your reply proves exactly my point. You continue to attempt to blame the customer and hold them solely accountable. It’s your guys’ loss. We’ve given all new projects to your competitor, and they ensure the order is correct for both the client and themselves by paying attention to every detail, site visits, and follow-​through.

JW Door is one of the best places I’ve ever done business with for any item for any reason. The quality of the products are bar none the best! Mark and Kurt are incredible! I came in looking for a couple of doors. I came towards the end of the day and was greeted by Chris. The poor man looked tired, and I kidded with him about it. Nonetheless, he took the time to help me find the perfect doors for my needs. The price was within my budget which made a big difference. I was really impressed with Chris and must give him a lot of kudos for helping me so late in the day.
