Great food and excellent customer service. Their prices are a little high for what it is but the chicken combos are worth the money. They are quick to serve you your food and the food is delicious as well.

I always get the #3: Steak and Eggs. This dish comes with fries, rice and plantains as well and it is the bomb! I have also had the chicken salad and the rotisserie chicken everything is always and portion size is on point. Don’t let the location keep you from giving this place a try… Great lunch spot!

Chicken is super tasty, and the arroz chaufa is amazing! My bosses love this place and now I know why. The chili sauce is yummy and the lomo saltado was one of the best I’ve had.

Just as a side note. The sign on says Super Pollo — The sign on the actual restaurant says Sherman Pollo. Also if you arent paying with cash theres a minimum of 5.00 before a credit/debit card can be used. We tried this place today and let me say its good food for the price. We ordered the Papa La Huancaina, Tallerianes Verdes, Friend Chicken Steak(with 2 Sides — we tried the fried yams and fried plantains), 2 small chicha moradas, and a Leche Asada. The Papa La Huancaina is made with a traditional sauce its pretty good, but if you are used to the«americanized verison» you might not like it very well. When the plate arrived it had nearly 2 whole potatoes(which were warm — to my surprise) cut into slices laying on a 2 lettuce leaves, with half and egg and an olive. The Tallerianes Verdes were delicious. You get a really big portion as well as a giant sized«steak» on top of it. The pasta its self was good had the right amount of flavor and they also added Parmesan cheese(which some places dont). The steak was nicely chard and not tough. Together they danced lovely in my mouth. The Fried Chicken Steak was also delicious. You really get a huge piece for the price but thats not what makes it remarkable, what makes it remarkable is the breading on it. OHMAHGAWD it just melts in your mouth! With this dish came 2 sides — we choose fried yams and fried plantains. Fried Yams were ok, needed a little salt. The Fried Plantains were ok as well nothing more to write about that. The chicha moradas were, I thought, really good. Tasted more fruity than other versions I have had. Finally the Lecha Asada was just the cherry on top of a wonderful meal. Overall it was a wonderful taste sensation — I will definitely be returning for the Tallerianes if not the Fried Chicken Steak. Yum Yum.

Ate here with the girls. The chicken is so tender and juicy! The garlic rice is to die for! They also have these cookies with some kind of dulce de leche in them that are awesome too! The restaurant is clean but parking is pretty harsh. It’s located in a small shopping complex so you may have to wait awhile for parking. The girls working there don’t speak much English. Luckily one of my girls knew how to speak Spanish fluently and hooked us up.

Chicken was too dry and it didn’t have any flavor. White rice was sticky(couldn’t eat it). French fries were soggy and very oily. The salsa was good.

Really great hole in the wall if you are wanting some Peruvian Food. I always get the Pollo Saltado and it’s amazing! They are pretty generous with their portions. One plate can easily feed two. Well at least mine can. So good! Quick and friendly people.

Super Pollo is a Peruvian restaurant located in the corner of Van Nuys and Sherman Way inside a Plaza. It might be hard to find because it’s all the way inside the plaza and behind Tacos El Zorro. It is often hard to find parking because that plaza is always busy with a lot of people. When you go inside, you feel comfortable and the workers are always friendly and it makes you feel welcome. My favorite dish is the Crispy Chicken Breast with rice and salad. The chicken has a unique flavor and they give you a lot of food which you can share with another person. The convenient thing that Super Pollo offers is that you can even call them so they can start making your order and have the food ready by the time you get there. For the drink, they have three main«aguas frescas» one being Maracuya, Chicha Morada and the traditional Horchata. The best agua fresca is Maracuya because it has a unique flavor that is not too sweet but has the perfect taste. Everything that they sell here is fresh and even their french fries are with natural potatoes and are not frozen. This restaurant always has a spanish radio station at a good volume, making it easy to talk with the people at your table. This place is a really good place to eat a variety of Peruvian dishes such as the famous Lomo Saltado, Tallarin Verde and the specialty Charbroiled Chicken. This place offers reasonable prices and you will love the quality of the food that they have. The Crispy Chicken Breast was about $ 8 which is a really good price for all the food that you get and the flavor. Their salsas are one of the delicious part of this place which you can get as much salsa as you want. The famous Chimichirri salsa has a really tasty flavor as well as the Aji, which is a spicy salsa. They offer the most common Peruvian dishes but they only famous Peruvian dish that do not offer it is the Ceviche Peruano. The desserts at this place are delicious as well. They have the Leche Asada, which would be equivalent to a Mexican Flan that you will love! The Leche Asada is about $ 2.50 and is a good size for one person.

Their chicken is really good with their unique sauce on the side bar(don’t know what it is but it has chopped parsley I think with garlic & olive oil). The steak with pesto is good too. Food is cooked upon order which is great. It’s not like choosing food items from the hot trays in front in fast food establishments. But that’s about it. Nothing too special.

Took a stab at this place today for lunch. My boyfriend ordered the Lomo Saltado but with chicken instead of the steak. It was a bit oily and I wasn’t too huge a fan of his chicken. His plate was about $ 12 which I thought was a little pricey. I had the ¼ Chicken with two side: Pinto Beans and Fried Plantains. The chicken was tender and the beans were so good. This plate was about $ 7 which is not bad. The sauces here are really spicy and tasty.

I love, love, LOOOVE this little hole in the wall!!! The have an awesome salsa bar because you can get as much chimichurri as you want. The other salsa’s are spicy, one is smoky in flavor and the other looks like avocado and jalapeño’s… But the food here is sooooo good, it needs nothing added… The top 3 dishes that I highly recommend are of course: LOMOSALTADO [Smoky chunks of beef with tomatoes, sweet, red onions, french fries and rice…] TALLARINVERDE w/BISTECK [it’s like a green noodle spaghetti with spinach and basil sauce] GRILLEDCHICKENBREAST that comes with 2 sides, be sure to get their plantains. Each person who works here are really nice and very homey…
