My stupid sister got a laptop from them, I warned her she would pay double to triple the actual value by renting to own by she didn’t listen. Anyways she switched jobs and her first payday for her new job would make her payment late. Aaron’s started sending their illiterate goon to my house almost EVERY DAY! I telework for a medical office, so I am on the phone with patients all day, scheduling and rescheduling appts, refilling and renewing medications, and sending notes to their doctors. I feel it’s a fairly important job and I CANNOT keep getting interrupted. I also have dogs, and they go nuts when someone knocks on the door. I can’t have my patients hearing a bunch of dogs barking. I have a VERY clear note on my patio door, which you must go through to get to the house door. It states that I, the homeowner and my name, am the only one home during the day and to NOT knock on my door because I am teleworking. This idiot who I have told already that she works until 1500, kept coming over between 11 and 1300. I ripped him a new one when he came over yesterday because he apparently isn’t getting it because he obviously can’t read the sign that states VERY clearly that I am the only one home, that means SHE ISN’T! I told him it’s not my place to give him the laptop, that’s between them and my sister. I told him if he comes back after I get off work at 1630 that she will be home and I will make her come to the door and talk to him. If they get a police officer to come over and ask for it, since technically it’s stolen property at that point since she didn’t make her payment, I will release it. So he comes back an hour later with a Sheriff deputy for a Civil Standby and they got their laptop back. So don’t ever miss a payment and DON’T let anyone put you down as a reference or they will harass you too.
