Accurate Motorwerks

This is the only shop I’ll use. They fixed an issue with the lights on my C230 in less than a day and they replaced a module in my transmission for about half of what it would’ve cost at the dealership. The manager always lets me know what is wrong and gives me a quote prior to the work being done and has always under promised and over delivered, and they’ve beat their estimated deadline every time.

This is the best European repair shop in Vancouver. I’m on my 4^th BMW and have gone to 2 other shops in the area prior to settling down with Accurate. The guys are genuinely nice, explain the process to you without talking down to you (I experience this a lot being a female at other shops) and are upfront with costs… no surprises. Another thing I think is great is that they just don’t tell you what’s wrong, they show you in person or with photos. These guys are honest, reliable and accommodating. As long as I live in the area and own a BMW, I won’t go anywhere else.

Took my car (2001 330xi) in due to a leaking valve cover gasket, these guys did a thorough inspection of everything, sent a detailed report including photos, and let me know the priority of each item. Fast, friendly, professional service with this group as well as reasonable prices. Remembered my name when I returned two weeks later for another issue, overall a great experience, didn’t get the feeling they were trying to «sell» me on other repairs like I have experienced at other shops. This is where I will be bringing my cars from now on.

These guys are amazing! After 2 other shops couldn’t find the problem, Accurate not only diagnosed it, they repaired it the next day. I have had my BMW in for more service since then and have been very happy with the repair service, the customer service, the price and the turn around time. They are the BEST!

Bought a used MIni Cooper S and the thermostat failed. Called around and these guys were near where I worked and had good reviews. The shop near my house could not get get to it for a week and these folks said they could look at it the next day. I had it towed in. Three days later after no responses to my inquiries about the car I drove over to the shop. My car was sitting on the side of the shop. When I went in they had to go ask someone about it. Again the reason I had it towed there was they could look at it right away. After a while the guy came back and said it would $ 685.00 to replace the thermostat! I told the shop closer to me could do it for $ 400.00. There response was basically the car was there, so did I want it repaired. No apology for letting it sit there fro three days. I had the car towed to Dynasport were they fixed it in one days and honored a first time customer discount of $ 5.00. Won’t ever go back to Accurate again

Needed repair on both BMWs. They got my 650i in the next day and fixed it same day. Took 528i in a few days later, and they fixed it the same day also. Super fast, super friendly. Both my BMWs work great now. I used to take all my BMWs to Portland BMW, but Accurate Motorwerks is so much closer, friendlier, and I think prices are much better than dealer, too. Would definitely recommend to anyone with BMWs. Vaughn is terrific!

Got in late on a Friday afternoon with a leaking power steering line… the guys at Accurate got my car diagnosed, part ordered/​delivered and installed in less than 3hrs.

Five stars all the way! The customer service here is top notch. They take the time to explain everything thoroughly and even show you photos of what’s wrong with your vehicle. Transparency and honesty are clearly important here which I greatly appreciate. As someone who clearly knows nothing about cars and how they work, I never feel like they are trying to pull one over on me. These people go above and beyond to take care of their customers. They gladly offer rides to and from their shop which is incredibly convenient for me :)
I trust them more than the dealership with my 2008 Mercedes and will certainly think of them first for all my car repair needs in the future. Very satisfied customer here :)

I had car problems at work last summer when I got off work at 6pm. My brother called them about it, they said they would be glad to stay open until I got there. I didn’t get there until almost 7pm. They were friendly and I did not feel shuffled in and out. They repaired my car the next day, and again they stayed late for me to pick up my car. They said thank you when I paid my bill.
I recently went to another repair place for timing belt replacement because it was more convenient. The shop didn’t have the same vibe and the front desk guys failed to offer me a welcoming smile or a thank you when I paid my bill. Welcoming smiles and a Thank you is important in my eyes since I have choices in repair shops. I will probably return here. The repair has not caused me any post-​pay problems.

Michael and his crew are awesome! Great customer service. It’s hard to find a honest, skilled and affordable mechanic, Michael is all 3 rolled into one. Thanks for restoring my faith in mechanics. We will be in trusting all of our cars with him.

Accurate Motorworks on Mill Plain Blvd. is the best garage to use for BMW that I have ever been to. Friendly and extremely knowledgeable.

I have two older BMW’s an 07 X5 and 08 650cv. Both BMW’s have been in for various service and issues. Each and every time Michael and his crew have done a fabulous job, and it’s always quicker and cheaper then BMW service at the dealership! He’s even saved me over the phone when certain issues arrise where as all the other service centers just say, «bring it in.» Will continue to use them and would highly recommend to others!

Honestly, my experience was awful. When I first brought the TDI in, they were very friendly and called me back to tell me what they though the issue was — but as weeks rolled on things were getting strange. They would keep my car overnight, and even over the weekend once without calling to tell me they needed to keep the car. I’ve never had a mechanic assume they can keep your car indefinately, especially without notifying you first. I ended up taking my vehicle back after almost three weeks of them having my vehicle (two different times). They were unable to resolve the issue — and to make things worse, someone spilled a sticky beverage in the car. There is a stain on the seat and the center console was still covered in the sticky beverage (coffee I think). $ 1400 — the issue still persists (check engine lights and all). I feel bad because their mechanics are clearly overbooked and overworked — they were constantly telling me that «nobody has had time to look at it yet». I finally just asked to take that car, even though it was not fixed — I just couldn’t leave it with them any longer. It was too expensive and no progress was being made. I hope that they can get things ironed out so that their business can be successful going forward as well. They are nice people. I am now having to pay another mechanic to work on the same issue.

I was traveling with my vehicle when it decided not to start when I came out of the hotel. Not knowing what the issues was, so when I tried to call Accurate Motorwerks in the morning, they didn’t answer. Lucky for me that they have amazing customer service and called me back from caller ID. They were so helpful and friendly and offered to get me in that morning. Once I got a jump, I took it to their shop and owner Michael met me outside and we discussed what we thought it might be. They gave me a ride to where I was working and called me to give me the great news that it was just my battery that had finally worn out. They took care of it and had me back on the road by the end of the day. I want to thank Accurate Motorwerks for such great service and being great guys!

Not surprisingly, Michael knows Minis like he knows BMWs. He replaced my window regulator and timing chain tensioner, with no issues. Excellent knowledge and service, at a fair price, right here in Vancouver!

Excellent service! I recently purchased a used BMW and have been looking for a local mechanic. Michael was personable, knowledgable and very reasonably priced– everything I want in a mechanic! The shop is very conveniently located off of Mill Plain and 205 and open on Saturdays!

When looking for BMW repair, this is the place to go to. Michael at Accurate Motorwerks is one of the best BMW technicians (other brands too) in the Pacific Northwest. He is a very qualified individual with certifications from manufacture training. He has the latest and greatest tools and diagnostic software for BMW available to the general public.
My car had bad lower control arm bushings and I found out a couple days before I was leaving for a road trip to Phoenix. Even though Michael was busy and stacked with cars, he was able to get me in and over night the parts at still a reasonable price. This is supurb customer service that is uncommon in the Automotive Industry.
If you are looking for a repair shop, I highly suggest you give Accurate Motorwerks a call before you look anywhere else in the Portland Metro Area. Their prices are great and their quality of work matches their customer service!
