I went here yesterday for a(free) std test. I guess they’re giving them away to test whether or not at-home testing kits will work? The nurse appeared to be the only person working that morning, and despite having to man the phones, greet patients AND do all the blood draws, etc, she was really sweet and capable. A+, would allow to stick me with needles again. The part I had to do myself was… not so great. I was left to my own devices with a sheet of instructions to guide me. I dont think at home std testing is for me. I got blood on the consent form. Sorry nice nurse lady. I would only do this again if the price of the test was significantly lower than just paying for a professional to do it.

There seems to be a high turn over rate with the staff which makes me horribly uncomfortable, makes me wonder what’s going on that makes the employees not want to stay and work here long term. The older lady is a little to chatty and ignores the fact that you’re waiting so she can finish her conversation with other people and the converstaions does not seem to have anything to do with health related issues and is more personal than anything. I would appreciate being help and having the conversation about her granddaughter wait till the work hours are done for the day. It’s just disrespectful to make me wait until you’re done telling your stories, I have a schedule and places to be as well and you are holding me up with your chit-chat. You need a lesson in customer service if that’s the way you treat waiting customers!
