This gym has it all. The owner, Steve Rodriguez, is a fantastic person and cross fitter. His knowledge and ability to convey it within a diverse population is evident with the progress all of his patrons make. Crossfit Acro may be the most diverse gym in the Portland Metro area with athletes who are not only from diverse racial/culturatl/ethnic/religious/anti-religious backgrounds, but also hearing-impaired and paraplegic. Whether you are an experienced athlete or an out of shape soon to be former couch surfer, this gym will welcome you with open arms. Crossfit Acro focuses slightly on the gymnastics aspect of crossfit. There are several former collegiate athletes(including Riss Rodriguez) who are members. I’ve found their expertise to be very helpful at expanding on my mediocre gymnastic skills. I also very much appreciate how the gym is accessible to all people including short male and female athletes. There are ample low pull-up bars and 15kg barbells to go around. The box has all the equipment I would expect in a gym plus a few extras. The community affiliated with this gym is some of the most supportive and friendly I’ve experienced. I will reluctantly admit to even liking the«churchy» members and admiring how they welcome people no matter their background, ability, and beliefs. You will not be disappointed in trying out this gym and it is completely worth the short drive(not in rush hour) to Vantucky.

Cross Fit Acro is awesome! The trianer/owners(Steve and Riss) do a great job and make every class a great workout and teach new cross-fit movement regularly. I have been to a few cross-fit places and this one is my favorite because the they are very accommodating to all skill levels. There have advanced, intermediate and beginners in all of the class and Steve the trainer does a great job working with all skill levels.

A great gym. Fun, comfortable atmosphere. Very friendly, with a family vibe. Not my first CrossFit gym, but my favorite by far!
