My daughters have been receiving dance instruction from DFNW for several years now and we could not be happier with the quality of the classes, the knowledge of the staff, and the supportive, family-​like atmosphere the studio owner strives to maintain. This is not a competition heavy studio but there are lots of opportunities for every level of dancer to become a better, more confident performer. We love it.

We have tried several classes here over the past few months and have not been impressed with the quality of teaching or level of professionalism in any of the classes. In addition, the cleanliness of the studio and waiting rooms is completely unacceptable. I’m pretty sure my daughter got lice from the filthy waiting room and for her ballet teacher to bring along her 5 month old baby to class who continued to fuss entire time is just not professional or acceptable in any situation especially for amount we are paying to take classes there.

First I want to say that this Academy has great instructors and their prices are compatible. In fact I chose them because of the recital costs seemed to be much less than the studio we had attended previously. However, they are not parent friendly. Every time I tried to communicate with them either by phone or email I would get no response. If you had the time to just go in they were nice enough.. But don’t be a working mom and expect them to respond to you. At recital time it was worst. I felt like just because my daughter wasn’t in the «company» we didn’t matter. They sent out several emails just before recitals with schedules and dress rehearsal times and instructions for day of., then sent out revisions that were contradictory. After leaving voice mails & emails and getting no response my daughter and i felt totally frustrated. Then we waited deep into the summer for a call that her pictures were ready and never received them. Again no response to emails or voice mails. Finally this week I get an email I need to come by to get them they can’t mail them as I need to sign for them and make sure they are correct. So I take time off to go there and there is no signing and they spelled her name wrong. What a shame because it is affordable and my daughter liked her teacher.
