We were promptly greeted by friendly staff, and offered drinks. I got the iced Thai chai with coconut milk, which was super delicious and flavorful without being overly sweet or powerful. Also, the way they crush their ice in drinks is pretty much perfect. For my meal, I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken, which wasn’t certified gf, but wasn’t enough gluten to bother my stomach. One thing I loved about their menu was a set of symbols next to each item with allergy info: they had«tofu available,» «gluten free,» and«vegan,» and among other things. My rice had tons of delicious flavor, with a large enough serving to last me for two meals at least. The presentation in half a pineapple was a nice touch, even if the rice wasn’t the most visually appealing. I’ll definitely eat there again! A quick note about the décor… They have a chandelier made of hanging cups, and various art on the walls that they periodically change out, from what I understand. Modern, comfortable, and engaging.

Ginger pop is my go-to for Thai food in Vancouver! The food is great and there’s always a great rotation of beers available. The environment is great as well. The staff are all friendly and seem to care about the customers’ experiences. I’ve been here several times and have never had a bad experience. At most, there’s been a bit of a wait time to be seated due to being busy which I don’t see as a problem. I always get the shrimp pad Thai and I have yet to be disappointed.

Service was great. The food was okay. Nice décor. Had a hot toddy that was delicious. My husband ordered the Prik pork and Pad thai. The Prik pork dish was extremely salty. That’s saying alot because I tend to over salt. I had the chicken wings and beef in a red curry sauce can’t recall the name of the dish. Overall I found the meal to be lacking in flavor and very bland and one dimensional. Put me in mind of Panda chicken. If I go back it will be only for their drinks.

I think I just had the best Thai dinner in my life! The green chili fried rice with fried chicken was just outstanding! I’m a usual pad Thai boring guy, and this is a must get dinner!

This is one of the best Thai Restaurants in Vancouver, WA. The food is amazing, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable. There just isn’t anything more you could ask for. This is a go-to for my husband and I. And since he is a culinary school graduate, that says more for this place than most!

Love this place. The food can be a little greasy but it’s super tasty. The sausage fried rice is pretty delicious and so are the salad rolls. I usually grab my order to go and it is ready pretty quickly. I’ve eaten in a few times and service seems good. There were even a few decent beers on tap. The interior is cool. It has a good vibe and I haven’t ever seen it crowded to the point of having a line.

My heart is broken. I have been coming to Ginger Pop religiously and have told SO many people about this place because it is hands down my favorite restaurant on the west coast. I have been coming here because they have so many vegan options… So I thought. Turns out, it is actually one of the least vegan friendly places I have been to. We have about 2.5 options on the entire menu. It has been brought to my attention after thinking I was eating vegan meals for the last year+, when they actually put fish sauce in everything from their curry dishes to their peanut sauce. The waiter was extremely sweet and as helpful as the menu allowed him to be, and that is why I’m giving one extra star. He’s a keeper. I would be the happiest girl if they even made ONE curry paste that gave us the option to order a vegan curry. There is a vegan fish sauce that I have tried called Tofuna Fysh that is a great option if they’re still wanting to get that flavor, but they also want to appeal to a growing population. I will not return again, nor will I recommend Ginger Pop until I can order more than 2.5 items off of their menu. Biggest breakup of 2015, I’ll miss you honey.

Hands down my favorite Thai place in the area. I’ve loved everything I have tried including the soups, curry dishes, and especially the fried rice. The chicken wings have excellent flavor, could maybe just use a little more meat on them.

Our first trip to Ginger Pop we were excited, having just moved to the neighborhood. We were looking forward to a great Thai meal. First challenge Staff attitudes: It’s not that they’re rude or anything, they just seem very bothered by the customer’s. The gentleman at the bar seemed completely uninterested. After 45 minutes of waiting for our order, I finally managed to get our waiters attention. He made a lame excuse they were now busy and he waited too long to put our order in. We ordered when no one was in the place but us. Why would you wait to ever put in an order? After another 15 minutes I approached the bartender to see if he could assist the waiter, he had no interest in helping us he simply walked into the kitchen. At this point, we were about to leave when our food arrived… We should have left! After nearly an hour, the Curry Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai both were chicken free. The Pad Thai was bland and greasy, the chicken Curry was all potatoes, little spice and NOCHICKEN. At that point I was passed hungry we ate and left, never to return again.

My friend had a coupon for this place so we checked it out. Yummy!!! We had the cashew chicken and chicken curry. Both were delish! The menu was a little difficult to understand with regards to what ingredients am were included in dishes, but nothing our super server Bre couldn’t help us out with! Would totally recommend this place.

I got the prik king pork dish. I came here for lunch with my mom after a dentist appointment and was starving. I couldn’t decide what to get so I took a shot in the dark and got the pork dish. It was amazing. The pork belly was amazing and had great flavor with their spices. Also I usually don’t like eating fat, let alone pork fat, but this was some great fat. It was a little tender but also had a little tough texture to it. I will definitely get this again next time. You always get your money’s worth here. Now onto other things. The staff is very nice and polite. They’re timely and help with any questions you have. The music choice is soft. They play a lot of jazz which I really enjoy. And they feature one or more artists artwork on the wall, that are for sale I might add. Best part is, the artwork was my favorite part of my lunch. I enjoyed everything. 5 out of 5 for sure.

I was visiting my cousin and niece in Vancouver, Washington and she took me here. I was hesitant at first because of the reviews on Unilocal but I beg to differ. The food was great and they offer a lot of good non alcoholic drinks other than thai tea. I had a big bowl of tom yum soup with a green tea latte. The green tea latte can be cold or hot. I went with hot because it sooth the stomach better! The tom yum was wonderful and had a lot of flavor. I like that they have the dry chili for you to add on to your dishes to make it even more spicy!!!

We just moved into the neighborhood and I am so happy to find this place. I picked up takeout but the atmosphere is very nice and everyone looked comfortable and like they were enjoying themselves — we will definitely come back for a date night. My order was ready without delay, was very reasoning priced, packaged well, and oh so good when we got home to eat it. We ordered pork salad rolls and two orders of chicken pad thai. I just had the pad thai leftovers as breakfast and it was even better than it was last night!

I was first weary when I came to this little Thai place. But I was pleasantly surprised. The wings are great!!! Weird huh? They are very small, but the portion size is good for an app split between two people. It’s this yummy spicy honey sauce that is all over them that makes me crave them like … Once a week. I have had the pad Thai and the pad sie iew, which are both very good portions and very delicious well. Keep up the good work!

Great service, the waitress was super nice, friendly, and helpful, they have beautiful décor, very nice place, we went during happy hour for our first time, I had the chichen pad thai, for only $ 7 and it was actually very good, I was very satisfied with my meal, we are definitely coming back to this place especially for the nice service, they have decent prices, very clean place, unique atmosphere. We had a nice time and we definitely recommend this place, finally we don’t have to drive to portland when we want to have some thai food.

Great food and service. I am a stickler on service and the younger guy that is always there is always super friendly and nice. He is sure to greet you even if he is with a customer and I appreciate that. I have been a few times and haven’t been disappointed. The chicken is good and not too chunky or fatty. I hate chicken that looks like mystery meat and its stringy or fatty. This is perfect. The pad thai is delicious. You can get extra peanuts to go on top and you can choose your spice. My medium gave me just the right amount of kick. I actually haven’t been inside to eat, I always get take out but still always a warm and inviting experience. I have heard the pineapple fried rice is good, I will try that next.

Okay, UPDATE: if you get the Tofu fries and you love both, the green sauce and the peanut sauce, do yourself a favor and mix both of those together. Dip and enjoy! And use the leftover sauce for any chicken you have laying around on some other dishes for a simple delight. Yum! Cashew Chicken was a huge portion and the chicken wasn’t overcooked, so that was impressive this time around. Also, the Lime Soda was a great way to end the meal. Size was perfect for 2 people, as well!

While in Vancouver for an appointment, I decided to try Ginger Pop out. It’s in a strip mall across from Fred Meyer along Highway 14. I walked in and was surprised how nice it inside. Nicely decorated and very clean. I wasn’t busy yet for lunch and I was seated promptly. I hadn’t had Chicken Pad Thai in awhile and if they can do that right the rest of the menu is probably good too. It came out quick and it had good plate presentation. It was hot and as Shaedyn mentioned the noodles were smaller and held the ingredients better. It also had a good ratio of noodles to protein. All in all a good place to try if you are in the area.

Awesome place to get your Thai on in Vancouver! We came here on a weekday with two friends during happy hour(4 – 6 daily) and the place was empty, so we got seated right away. For happy hour, they have great prices on appetizers, main dishes($ 8 max), and cocktails/beer/wine. We ate like kings and got out of there for roughly $ 30 per couple. The chicken wings were our favorite dish, so do not pass these up! They were everything a wing should be… crispy and tender drenched with ridiculously good Thai sesame sauce! Other favorites were the pineapple curry and the Pad Si-iew. The Pad Thai and summer rolls were delicious too, but they tasted pretty standard as far as classic Thai dishes go. They also have a great drink selection here with some great beers on tap and good wines and cocktails. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, and it’s a great place to go with a group of people for a family-style meal!
