ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS fish in the boat! I’ve been fishing with him for close to 5 years now. Extremely professional, respectful, and will treat you right but also has a great sense of humor which makes fishing a blast. I’ve fished with him on the Lewis and Cowlitz rivers as well as the Multnomah Channel. If you want to catch fish, have a great time and learn a little something about fishing and the area, he’s your guy.

We got back from a fishing trip yesterday on the North Lewis River in Woodland Washington and Jon was a superb guide. My father and I had a great experience and caught our limit of Coho and Chinook Salmon by noon. Jon is extremely professional, courteous and knows his river like the back of his hand. He even had waterproof pants for us that was GREATLY appreciated in the cold morning air! All in all I would highly recommend Jon Huston’s Guide Service!
