Just had this pizza the other day! Everyone was super helpful and nice. Got their Hawaiian pizza & loved EVERYTHING about it!!! So good. Highly recommend.

Pass this place without another thought. I had the lunch special 1 trip through the salad bar and all you can eat pizza and drink. The salad bar had the end of the lettuce bucket, and the pasta salad(processed) was on its last day if not last. I was close to the lunch break being over but the rest of the salad bar canisters were fully stocked. Trying to get attn. to get more salad was not really important to me with Pizza being the real reason I was there. I tried the Hawaiian and the Chicken bacon olive pizza. Neither lacked for toppings– but that was the only positive thing. Let’s start with the crust was over done. What they use as a pizza warmer was not helping. Then the sauce had no flavor — It was neither sweet or spicy, let alone have even a tomato essence. Then the toppings. Like a previous reviewer the pineapple was not cooked with the pizza yuck. The chicken had dried out. Now when you are out– life happens– But the 3 staff members working– well not sure, there conversation was nothing but Complain about the manager ordering the wrong boxes they don’t stack. And other issues, sorry but between the food and staff not going back.

Bleck. We ordered our standard pepperoni and pineapple.($ 30 for a large pizza and one soda!!!) Because we didn’t specify that we wanted the pineapple cooked, they added it after the pizza was cooked. This made the crust soggy and gave the pizza a wet dog smell. We asked why the pineapple wasn’t cooked and the server told is because we didn’t ask for it to be cooked! Hello… I’m ordering a pizza, all parts of the pizza should be cooked– just FYI. Good things; we loved their 90s music and the place is super clean. Side note for you ranch lovers; theirs has lots of dill.

The pizza was decent. I liked the doughy crust. However, I was unimpressed with the customer service. It was not very busy when I walked in but no one greeted me or asked if I needed help. It was my first time in so I didn’t know where to order, if I should seat myself, I couldn’t even find a menu! Then my small, personal size pizza took about 30 minutes to come out. I tipped the waitress when she took my order but I really wish I hadn’t because she completely ignored my existence. I had to ask her for assistance. Oh and no one say goodbye or thank you when I walked out the door either. I’m never going here again.

Bottom Line: pretty good pizza but expensive. In the top 5 pizza places in the east Couv for pizza. There are a ton of pizza places in the Couv and Leonardos is definitely one of the better options as far as the quality of the pizza. The all meat pizza in particular is pretty amazing. The problem is the cost and sometimes the service. When you charge a lot, people expect more and from a service, venue and ambience perspective, Leonardos doesn’t deliver. On the up-side, the beer selection is good and reasonably priced. They have discount coupons in the local newspaper which bring the cost down to a more reasonable level. I will continue to eat here if I have a coupon, but rarely if I don’t.

Sitting here right now. It’s been 30+ mins and there’s only three other tables seated. No food yet! Everyone with a takeout order is being served. (Pizza has been served) Pizza served 40 mins after ordered. Pizza is Luke warm. Usually I use a fork for the first couple of bites but this pizza was ready to be devoured by hand. The pizza tasted great. I quizzed my father who paid for the meal, «Did you tip when you paid?» My father said, «Of course not, you tip after the meal». I hope the young twenty something’s that were running the place didn’t make us suffer for this practice of «tip after service».

The pizza was sooo good! It was very speedy though. Definitely a place to go for dinner but not to order for a big group of people.

This is the best pizza I’ve had out yet, a great leap above the chains. The prices are a little high but it’s justified; everything I’ve had so far has been high quality to match. I recommend ordering a speciality pizza if you like several toppings as it’s a lot to add one(especially meats) but they don’t skimp. The pizzas are LOADED – even the ones for the buffet. I normally come for the lunch specials, usually the $ 3 slice that’s available Monday-Friday from 11 – 2, and last time my wife wanted pepperoni and pineapple, something they didn’t have out, and the waitress added pineapple(a lot of it, like with all the toppings, which is fantastic) for nothing. As far as I know, all the slices cost the same, so try what you want! They send out coupons occasionally for $ 5 or BOGO slices, and I never let them go to waste. The buffet is a little unorthodox and is around $ 10 a person, but you’re getting a lot more than places that cost less. Be warned though; this isn’t a standard buffet where all the pizzas are on buffet tables and you go up and get them. The slices are behind the counter in a pizza oven and you have to ask the staff for a slice. So for the shy type, this might not be the best choice. I don’t drink myself but there’s a number of rotating beers on tap, around 20 or so. They had football on a couple of TVs and Nickelodeon on the big screen(thankfully with closed captioning instead of sound) so the place can work for any type of family.

Sorry to burst the bubble of the people who think this is great, but we were stunned at the bad service. First of all, we called in two 16″ pizzas and got there a ½ hour later and still had to wait another 12 – 15 minutes. We were charged almost $ 70.00 for two 16″ pizzas! We asked for an itemized receipt and the cashier just looked at us like we were crazy. She was so dumb she didn’t even know if they carried 2 liter bottles of Pepsi or not. Pathetic ripoff

A solid lunch deal. A slice and salad bar for a couple bucks, can’t beat that. The sauce is delightful and usually I don’t eat the crust but I do when I’m here. Fresh romaine lettuce with a with all the fixings, a little macaroni salad, oh and don’t forget the beets ! Yum yum give me some. Paired with a slice of sausage pizza, can’t go wrong.

Leo’s is somewhere I have came for years and am never disappointed. Their Pizza is high quality and everything about it is what great pizza tastes like, except for the crust. The crust can sometimes taste good, but often it seems quite stale and reminds me of the Domino’s or Little Caesar’s crust.(Which is not a good thing) The pizza is also really expensive, but is also relatively filling. But if getting a personal pizza, I recommend also getting the salad bar because you’re most likely going to want more food. I’m not sure if they do in the lunch hour, but at the time I went they were not selling pizza by the slice. I do always enjoy coming here though, especially when someone else is paying. TL;DR: The pizza is high quality, but the prices are also high quality.

Like pizza? Then you will like this place. The pizza is good. Place is clean and service is friendly. Would have given a 5 star rating but this place is a bit expensive.

I hosted an event for my upcoming child at Leonardo’s. They had a decent sized room in the back that was rent free, it had enough seating for approximately 50 and suited our purposes perfectly. The pizza came out incredibly quickly and right on time, the staff was gracious, and even didn’t mind when I broke one of their plates! They came in quickly and professionally to clean up the glass shards on the floor. After not having been to Leonardo’s since the remodel, I was wary about whether it would host a get together like the pizza shop I remembered, but it went even better than I imagined. Heavily recommend, great pizza, great service.

I have used Leonardo’s for a lot of different reasons(ok, usually«to eat» reigns supreme but I digress) from just lunch or dinner to ending a Cascade Sports Car Club Rally here to honoring some Vancouver Police Department officers for their service. I have a lot of faith in the crew here in the past, but my last two visits have worried me a little. Yes, the prices have come up more than a little bit. As a Dad I have to give careful consideration to where I spread my meager earnings and with this increase while I wouldn’t stop coming here, it will impact how often. Second, the last two visits I have stared deep into a great big empty of a salad bar. I go to the cashier and ask if they are restocking it soon, I get told it will be done immediately and it hasn’t been the case. Too bad, I like the salad bar, although I have always mentioned they could use more of their pizza toppings in it like Round Table does. The other issue is the attitude of the employees at the cash register. Twice now it’s been attitude. I won’t stop coming here until they give me a solid reason to. I have voiced my concerns with the manager, hopefully he reads these reviews and makes some adjustments. I would hate to lose a great place like this.

Service service service!!! We booked two parties in the back room on a Friday and Saturday night. I can’t say enough how great the service was! We had a bunch of rowdy kids both nights but that didn’t stop the wait staff from giving us the best possible service! Going out of our way to make us happy and make sure we had everything! Pizza is really great and I love their selection of beers! The back room is great for birthdays or sports parties. It’s really large and has plenty of seating plus a flat screen tv! Extra thanks to Joaquin and Jarred! They were great!

Love this place. Yes, it is more expensive than Domino’s or Papa John’s, but that is because the quality of their pizza is much higher. I’ve been here several times and love their food. On today’s visit they were extremely busy, and as with any place that is busy that leaves room for error. We suffered some issues on today’s visit(but again, even a 5 star restaurant can have occasional issues) and it is all about how the manager handled it. He accepted responsibility right away, was extremely apologetic, and offered whatever need be to make it right(new pizza, refund, etc…) without hesitation. Love Leonardo’s, love the pizza, love the customer service. We’ll definitely be back.

Love Leonardo’s Pizza. Best pizza in Vancouver! Prices have taken a huge jump though. Not too bad to stop coming. However, this visit was a bit disappointing. Picking up a couple pizzas to go. Pizza was awesome, but the cashier that helped me was rude. Her name was Raquel and just had a piss poor attitude. She was all frowns, smacking her gum, no smile, just overall rude. I will be thinking twice about coming to Leonard’s now. Poor employees are a disaster to a good business.

We love Leonardo’s Pizza! Hawaiian with jalapeños is our favorite, the crust is perfect, the sauce is very good, our kids had pepperoni and we just think they put to much pepperoni on the pizza, but besides that they make great pizza and is a nice place to eat and relax with the family. The problem here are the prices, just a little to high! On everything! $ 25 for a pizza and 2.75 extra for jalapeños!!! That’s 27.75 for a pizza plus tax, $ 30 wow! We just think that’s a little yo much, also the service is not great and is not because they’re rude but because there’s not enough employees in thr register area. We go once in a while, but if it wasn’t for their high prices we would go more often, but we just think that if we’re gonna spend $ 75 dollars there we can just go somewhere else instead. But if we’re craving a good Hawaiian pizza then it’s fine :)

We picked up a large pizza. It was 25 bucks. Got home and took a bite and it was not cooked… Yuck. Even if it was cooked. All the toppings were just clumped in their own piles. All the mushrooms were piles in the center. Careless cooking!!! :(
