Not a busy place, but our order took almost an hour to get to us. Food was okay but not worth the wait. Servers were not attentive. Wouldn’t recommend if you didn’t have the time to wait.

My family and I came here after a long car ride into town from Seattle on a Friday evening. We came in very shortly before the dinner rush and were seated promptly. The menu is MASSIVE! They have a lot of sushi to choose from. They also have some hot food dishes to select from as well. They hand you the menu and you mark off what you want. We ordered a basic bunch of rolls: spicy tuna roll, spider roll, shrimp tempura, and California roll for our 5yo. All were really tasty and fresh. They have a good selection of sake. I ordered the Sayuri sake which delivered a good buzz. Speaking of 5yo, this joint is pretty family friendly. There was a number of families dining there the same time we were. B Service was decent and friendly. We will definitely be back when and if we are in the area again.

Mio Sushi was alright, but we came here for my birthday and had a fun time together as a family. There were some assorted rolls and sushi, and I had a couple of beers. It wasn’t the best sushi that I’ve had, but I enjoyed the meal. At some point, I felt the wasabi was somewhat overly textured, but it was hard to compare it to anything else. I wish I’d taken more pictures. Regardless, I enjoyed spending the evening out to dinner for my birthday and we’ll probably visit the restaurant again.

Was SO beyond pleased to find this Sushi Restaurant today. After a few failed Sushi attempts in Vancouver so far since our move here, this was a total gem find for us! We came in today around 1. The mango iced tea is amazing! Refills included and has real chunks of mango! We ordered the Coco roll, and the Mt. Rainer(or Mt. Hood, whichever has the cooked salmon on top) they were both absolutely fantastic! So delicious, perfectly cooked salmon. We also got a 3 item bento — spicy chicken, beef, chicken teriyaki– the portions were on the smaller side, but the meats were SO flavorful, definitely worth it! Awesome and sweet service, I highly recommend coming here! We will be back soon!

We have frequented this restaurant for years but after last night it’s debatable whether we will return. We pulled up to the door and the sign was off… a few moments before it was on. The time was 8:30 p.m., posted closing time was 9:30 p.m. The staff offered no reason for closing early. The weather had improved and other restaurants were open. We were very disappointed at this type of disservice.

This is the best place I’ve found for sushi in Vancouver. I’ve been here multiple times and tried a variety of menu items, everything is amazing! Very fast service and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it and will be back for more!

While I have had good experiences at this restaurant, this last time I arrived with high hopes and expectations, but was sorely disappointed. The sushi was rather rubbery, and after eating it me and my friend experienced what I can only describe as irritation. Even after this negative experience, I’m still willing to give them another chance. Please don’t disappoint.

Love this place… close to home; reasonably priced, especially during happy hour and great rolls like the Double Crunch Roll. Fish always tastes good and seems fresh and love their seaweed salad. Recommend their Chirashi… very good and the Yellow Tail jalapeño is as good as the picture looks. Definitely worth a try!

I really enjoy this place. I constantly crave their Alaska and Tempura rolls… so I get to-go food often(because I have kids and hate taking them to restaurants). The service is always friendly and prompt! And the rolls are always delicious! The only thing I don’t like is their hours… I seem to want sushi when they’re closed… but I also understand.

Their hours are a little weird. I personally like my sushi accessible at anytime, but other than that, this is probably one of the best sushi place in little Vancouver. The place is also kinda small so don’t plan to have large parties! But it is super cute and clean!

Hey folks! So Mio Sushi, in short I’m a fan. My wife and I just moved here from Utah and were really missing our favorite sushi place there. We turned to Unilocal and tried a lot of local sushi places and none blew our mind though a few blew our wallet. The general consensus when I asked people where good sushi was in the area was to go to Portland. Well I’m happy to say that I found and above average place to fulfill my need much closer to home and I’ll go back often. Mio Sushi has a couple of locations in the Pacific Northwest and my experience on sushi quality has varried by the two I have been to(Salmon Creek and Camas). Service has always been friendly and prompt at both locations, the sushi was just a bit better in Salmon creek. Some of our favorite rolls are the Mt. St. Helen, Volcano and the Coco. I’ve never seen any other Sushi rolls with coconut on them like the Coco has and I’m a fan. I’ll order that roll every time. The Mt. St. Helen roll is a good mix of your favorite sushi ingredients with a thin slice of Jalapeño to make it interesting. The deep fried rolls are good enough. I wasn’t blow away but I wasn’t unhappy I tried them either. The few we have tried tasted pretty similar so take your pick. Edamame and Miso soup are exactly what you would expect. The price really didn’t seem too bad to me, about what I expect for a night of Sushi I enjoy with my wife. Mio doesn’t quite beat our favorite Sushi place in Utah, but it’s not too far off. I’ll be back to Mio soon!

O Mio, You are so Mi-OK. Since you serve me ok sushi and Japanese-style food with a friendly smile plus plenty of Happy Hour options, there’s no doubt I’ll be back for more Mio Sushi in Salmon Creek. After 2 visits, here’s what I’ve tried so far. * Yellowtail(Hamachi) Sashimi(3 stars) My favorite was alright, alright, alright … * Tuna(Maguro) Sashimi(2 stars) Thick cuts of deep red Tuna was a little chewy * Salmon(Sake) Sashimi(3 stars) My wife’s favorite … good enough for a 2nd try * Bloody Vampire Roll(2 stars) Spicy Tuna & Spicy Salmon, but Bloody Sweet Chili Sauce * Rainbow Roll(3 stars) Taste the Rainbow … or not. Wish there was more flavor * Mt St Helen Roll(4 stars) Little Jalapeño Hats and Avocado … I’m easy to please * Mt Fuji Roll(3 stars) Looked impressive, gone fast … like seeing Fuji-san from the bullet train * Tiger Roll(2 stars) What a nutty roll … Peanuts, Krab, & Sweet Chili Sauce * Yellowtail Jalapeño Carpaccio(3 stars) Thin Hamachi slices and Jalapeño slices dancing together * California Roll(3 stars) So simple, but still safe and worth the price * Heart Attack(3 stars) Jalapeño + Tuna + Tempura + Fried + Coronary = Bingo * Zarusoba(3 stars) It’s summer time … it’s time for chilled Buckwheat noodles! Mio Sushi seems reliably consistent for a regional Japanese sushi chain and I’ll be back when I’m needing me some ok sushi nearby.

AVERAGESUSHI, GOODSERVICE. This is the best sushi joint in Salmon Creek. Sushi Chiyo down the road is one of those cheap dollar discount places with the old sushi rotating on an industrial assembly line. Its like watching the month old hot dog at 7 – 11 spin on the greasy rollers, until it disappears into food hell. This place is much better at least. The service is always prompt and friendly. The sushi menu is extensive and the rolls are ample. One reviewer mentioned that they don’t offer many of the Ramen noodle dishes on their menu. This is true and a disappointment. I would have possibly given this place 4 stars if they actually cooked what was on their menu but no such luck. I would recommend going here for a few rolls and a drink. If you want great sushi you will have to travel to Portland.

Amazing. Absolutely delicious sushi, friendly atmosphere, very nice service. We had a great experience, definitely try this place! However a star off because portions don’t exactly match the prices. $ 50 later we were still hungry.

This place is awesome! Great service, clean location, and excellent food. Lots of gluten free options. When I mentioned I was gluten free and very sensitive, our server was very accomodating and explained what substitutions they could make for the items I wanted, and she brought out the GF soy sauce right away. For the amount of food and the quality, I felt the prices were very reasonable. Best Sushi I had in a long time. By the way: the dragon roll and the bubble roll= OMG! SO. GOOD. I can’t wait to eat there again. I highly recommend this place. Update 3÷26÷15 NOTGFFRIENDLY I went there today and got so sick just a few hours later. There was GLUTEN in my food, apparently. And a lot of it, this was no minor cross– contamination issue. Its the only thing that makes me this ill. I’m not sure what happened today, as my previous visit went so well, and I ordered the same items as last time. The place was not busy and I also told the server I was gluten free, just to make sure. She was very nice and accomodating, like before. I am angry and disappointed that this happened and will not return. Its a fine place if you are not GF, but I would not recommend it if you are.

Yum! I was very happy with Mio. We got the bubble bubble and volcano rolls which were both good; though I preferred the bubble bubble. I also had a sake flight. Kurosawa and Mirror of Truth were my favorites of the three. Our waitress was attentive and courteous, and the restaurant was clean and well lit. I’m looking forward to coming again. Watch out though as they are closed between 3−5pm. We made it just in time, but I did see a few people get greeted with a locked door.
