My kids would walk over the top of anyone to get their jojo’s & chicken strips. The people who own this little grocery/deli are SO nice. The people who work here, especially the guys at the front counter, are so nice. They started remembering us after only a few times there. I try not to drink pop BUT their fountain Pepsi is soooo good. We also run here for stuff we need in a pinch. A dozen eggs, a pound of sugar, spices, chocolate chips, butter, milk, bread. It is ALMOST a full on grocery store. They have espresso(no kidding) a produce department & lots of candy. The sweet lady who owns it also buys the coolest toys, games ect. There hot case is really great for a quick lunch or snack. Chicken is very good.

I like this place. It’s an odd little grocery store/deli in a somewhat run-down neighborhood. The outside shows this, as the storefront looks pretty 70ish. Inside, they have some produce and some food. It’s kind of a cross between a grocery store and a food mart. Some things are cheap, and some things are a bit more expensive than just going to Safeway(like beer) but it’s on my way home, so that convenience is nice. The staff is OK, although they only seem to be actually nice if you’re a blonde white female, heh, but nothing new in that. Long as they keep carrying my brand of poison, I don’t care.

I mainly stop in here for the excellent specialty soda pop selection and made to order deli sandwiches. While the sandwich ingredients are not the highest quality around you do get what you pay for and I usually end up with a tasty, cheap lunch that comes complete with a pickle spear for less than $ 5. They also have a nice amount of fresh produce and a very friendly staff.
