$ 3 lunch close to work isn’t beatable! I ordered the California roll and it was pretty damn good. Worth your time :)

Sushi Hana offers up its fish fare via conveyor belt. It’s everything that other Unilocalers have said here, pretty good sushi for the most part, decent service(considering you don’t really need much service to get your sushi on here) and a staff that’s usually there when you need them. It’s sushi for those of you who just can’t take the time to place an order and wait for the server to bring it to you. Stacked plates circle the horseshoe bar area and all you need is a good hand to pull down your next sushi plate. The plates are cheap, a buck or two, but the orders are small as well, three or four cut rolls for example. Still, it’s quite easy to fill up on all your fav sushi for less than $ 10. For a full on sushi experience this probably shouldn’t be your first pick, but for a quickie meal, it’s a good bet.

I’ve been coming here for almost two years now since my company relocated near tech center. Whether I’m eating in or ordering take out, my stomach and my wallet leave stuffed because their prices are fair. Spicy mayo is amazing and I’m sure hundreds of other people can attest to that. If you expect restaurant service don’t even come here because you’re just going to cry and leave a bad Unilocal review. They speedily take your drink order and you grab stuff off the conveyor belt. If you need a special plate, ask the chef or wave a server down.

Sushi Hana is delicious, fresh and has a good variety of fish. They were happy to make special orders for things I like that weren’t on the belt. I’ll be returning there. So far the best sushi I have found in Vancouver, though I’m still looking for something that matches in quality the sushi bars in the San Francisco Bay area.

I’ve been coming to this place since its conception… I Love it. Although the prices have gone up a little in the last couple of years, its still the best Sushi in town for the price.

Awesome place for quick sushi. Friendly staff. Fresh food. The price is very affordable, $ 1.50 each plate is a steal. Definitely no place in Hawaii can beat this amazing deal. Will be regulars here for sure.

I love this sushi joint, it is probably the only one I ever go to, and if I do go else where, I am always disappointed. This location has a price set of $ 1.50 per plate, and $ 1.00 for entry. But I would say it is very worth it. If you don’t see what you would like to have on the conveyer belt, you can always ask the employees in the middle of the bar, and you’ll have it 5 – 10 min, depending how busy it is. I think another reason why I enjoy coming here, is because of the servers. They’re very kind, and try to accommodate you as best they can :)

Love, love LOVE their Philly rolls! Even after eating their sushi for lunch, I crave more of it for dinner!!! Very cheap, good place to satisfy that sushi craving! The Vegas roll is also amazing! Love it hot and melty! So good!

I think food taste good when you get good customer service! That lady that works there with the guys, is ALWAYS in a bad mood and treats them horrible!!! Every time i go, and ask for a special roll, either she forgets or she doesnt want to make it! It used to be better, with the other guys there. They were fast and friendly!

I had a horrible experience in this place. I had a Las Vegas roll and the Spicy Salmon roll. The quality of the rolls were not so good. It tasted as if it were pre made and not fresh at all. The quality of the rice was absolutely disgusting. I’ve been to plenty of sushi restaurants and rice is something I eat on a daily basis but their rice felt too hard and undercooked. The people who worked there also rushed me out of the restaurant because it was closing time. After I came home, threw up and felt sick. I would never recommend this place to anybody. I would give this place a 0 star if I could.

This place is complete shit seriously I ate here they were rude their sushi is mostly imitation crab with cream cheese wtf is that all about and the staff was very rude! Customer service is complete shit no wonder it is only 1.50 a plate seriously I bet you could buy better sushi at 7⁄11 not saying I have tried or would ever eat gas station sushi but I’m sure it is better than this dumpster garbage place oh wait dumpster? That brings me to my next point I bet I could go dumpster diving and find sushi that taste better than this place even after the sushi had been in the dumpster an sun baked for 3 days. Even tho it would probably taste like hot spit and beastiality but I’m sure would still taste better than this shit hole seriously. Also I got sick from this place I woke up an blew chunks at 3am.

I found a long very long brownish/blonde hair in the Ginger. I didn’t say anything out of courtesy to the people eating next to me. Didn’t want to ruin their appetite for the sushi on belt. However, you guys need to be careful as I did eat there almost 1 or 2 times a week.

So the good is good — the sushi! Salmon nigiri is my favorite EVER and theirs is ALWAYS fresh and yummy and there is plenty of it, which is a problem I tend to have at other places in the area. All of the sushi I’ve tried has been really good and fresh. I don’t really like the«gourmet» rolls that sushi joints do; I tend to stick to nigiri and simple rolls like my grandma made. The other good thing? The pricing! My husband and I love sushi and used to drop almost $ 100 at our old place in Tacoma(miss you, Sushi Revolution!) but last night, we ate plenty and didn’t even hit $ 40. The only bad thing is the ambience is lacking which isn’t even a big deal. If they took down the lights a bit and dressed up the interior a little, this could be a real jewel. As it is though, it’s always busy and for a good reason. I am a sucker for a great environment though so I reduced my review by 1 star.

Conveyor belt style sushi. I have been coming here since 2010 when they had the grand opening specials. All plates are $ 1.50 and $ 1 per person. Most affordable sushi around! The menu of sushi has been the same for years. For the price it is good sushi you can go by yourself or a group. Rice to fish ratio is decent. Besides water I like to get tea which is free but not the best tea. Service is great for a this type of restaurant. The waitresses are usually walking around and can easily wave one down. The sushi chefs make the sushi in the middle and are fast with the orders you want. Restaurant has looked the same for years and is pretty causal. There’s a cute little sushi clock on the far wall. Overall it’s a great sushi place to go to in Vancouver. Food 5⁄5 Atmosphere 3.5÷5 Service 5⁄5 Experience 5⁄5

I went to Sushi Hana today with my mom and my cousin, and I had a bad experience ever. I saw they have eel on the menu and I want order a plate of eel, but I just say«can can I order an eel» to a Mexican guy. He laughed at me, and made a joke of me to his co-worker. I stared at him and he stops laughing. I don’t understand why he laughs. Do I from another star?

Sushi Hana offers conveyor belt sushi for a cheap price. If you’re looking for high-quality cuts of sashimi or incredible rolls, then this is obviously not your place. Sushi Hana sells their sushi plates at 1.50. That’s right, it doesn’t matter what the roll is or what kind of fish they are using, the price is always 1.50(with the exception of udon which is $ 6). Therefore, since each plate is so cheap, the quality isn’t going to be that great. But for such a cheap price, this place is a-okay. There seems to be a lot of business here since there tends to be a wait quite often. Just write your name and the number of people in their little book. They’ll call you up when they have seats for you. There is an entrance fee of $ 1 per person. Many of the rolls are just variations of California rolls with imitation crab. You can have a California roll with salmon on top, or a California roll with tuna roll. You get what I’m saying, it’s basically different toppings on the same base roll. If there is a certain roll that you want, you can look at their menu and order the rolls you want by asking one of the sushi chefs in the center. I ordered a Caterpillar roll(eel roll with avocado on top) because it’s typically one of my favorites. I was a bit disappointed because it came with teriyaki sauce on top rather than an unagi sauce. It made the roll taste very different. Furthermore, they had a California roll with shrimp on top smothered in sweet and sour sauce. The combination did not work for me at all. I did appreciate their seared salmon though. This was my favorite sushi during the meal. Despite it being such a cheap place, their cuts of salmon are pretty good for the price. It’s not super high-quality sashimi, but it is pretty good for $ 1.50. Service doesn’t really exist other than them seating you and giving you water at the start. Personally, I would give this place around 2 stars if I was really being nit-picky on taste, but because I know this place is such a cheap place, I would say the food is average in terms of low-quality foods. If you need a quick, cheap sushi fix, then this place will probably suffice. If you are a California roll lover, then you’re in luck.

The food was room temperature. Most places with a conveyor have a system to keep track of when the food was made, they seem to be lacking any way to tell how old a given plate is. Would you eat room temp fish? The pricing is another issue. Sure paying $ 1.50 a plate may seem like a deal, but there is a serious lack of pride in their work. Why would you charge the same price for seaweed salad and a skilfully cut piece of salmon? I can only imagine that either the ingredients are cheap all the way around, or what should be considered finer food, was simply not prepared with quality, skill, and pride. Food aside, the building is a hole in the wall, tucked between an auto parts store and a nail salon. There doesn’t seem to be a cohesive color scheme or any matching décor, just a sad fish tank and a waitress who should have been asking if I would like a drink instead of chatting with her boyfriend in the corner booth. Don’t bother with this place. At best you’ll get crappy food with lousy service. Worst case you’ll spend the evening wondering which end of your writhing body, you should place over the toilet.

I love this place, go here all the time. The sushi is very high quality and delicious. Very nice staff here as well. There’s a big selection of sushi to choose from if you want to order or just pick from the conveyor. The atmosphere here is friendly and it’s always clean! Pricing here is also amazing, only $ 1.50 a plate… Of anything! This sushi bar located conveniently on mill plain so it’s easy to get in and out if you’re in a hurry. Would highly recommend to anyone.

This is one of those conveyer belt sushi places. I don’t know if I would call it a, «hole in the wall sushi restaurant» but it’s not fancy by any means. I’ve been to quite a few of these types of sushi restaurants and have +\- + good selection + seated immediately + ate immediately + very inexpensive + decent selection — there is a lot going around the conveyer belt. Not everything looked real fresh. Two layers of food, but I don’t think it’s necessary. We preferred to order from the sushi chef — not super clean — not authentic at all Overall, for cheap not authentic sushi… This is a great place. Be a little careful what you pick. The conveyer sushi is fun and this is no exception. I was very impressed my the rolls and quantity of food for the money paid. Dress– you could practically come in a bathing suit and be fine here. It is extremely casual. You will see some people in work attire. One thing I rely appreciated about this conveyer belt sushi restaurant is that they never pressured us to leave. These places get people in and out quickly, but I still was able up carry a nice conversation without being led out.
