The food is healthy and tastes incredible, and the proprietor is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I recently moved out of state, but every time I come back to Vancouver I make it a point to stop by!

Delicious flavors and spices. Owner is very friendly and accommodates vegetarians very well, with separate serving utensils and great care taken to not cross contaminate. I will definitely be returning. The avocado ice cream was delicious too, but the burrito was the best part.

I just Had my second experience with Tacos N Cream. I’ve order the«IT,» both times and it didn’t disappoint! Chester the owner/cook is very nice and informative about his food. The only reason I didn’t give TNC a 5 star rating is because I feel like its a little expensive: $ 9.99 for the IT burrito. Both times I have been to this food cart I have thought to myself; «That is pretty expensive for a food cart burrito.» However; one bite into the burrito, and I am instantly slapping myself for ever questioning the $$$! I have no problem spending a little more to support a very nice local business with great quality food and a charming owner! 5 stars are just hard for me to give out I guess.

This truck rocks! The menu is simple and the food is delectable. Their homemade ice cream is delicious and every thing has the perfect amount of spice. Every other Wednesday they are parked at the Residence Inn by Marriott over by the Vancouver Mall, which is a convienient and uncrowded spot to pick up dinner.

First off, the ice cream is DELICIOUS. He changes flavors pretty often and every one I have tried is super good. Second, I love the java drink. It’s unique and very tasty. Now for the meals, my husband and I are a little split on this. We both have only tried the carne asada. While we both thought it was on the spicy side(neither of us handle spice well), my husband thought it was too salty, but I thought it was just right! Do note, I was eating the meat in tacos while my husband(who does low carb) was eating only the meat so he didn’t have anything soaking up the sauce. While my husband would get it 3 – 4 stars, I’m going with 4 – 5 stars. We will definitely be coming back! Also, a few more notes: you can order online, they have a loyalty program, and the owner is SUPER nice!

Raised his prices. …value isn’t there. Food tasted fine but the weird overwhelming harassment to sell me on the place each time drove me off. Too uncomfortable, off-putting and time consuming. 10 $ food cart taco plate was over the top to me.

Stopped here for a quick«vegan» burrito. Come to find out the burrito is served with real cheese, so I asked to have the cheese and onions removed. I was told that I was ruining his creation and that he didn’t want to be bashed for serving me «bad» food. So I was denied my order, will never know how the food actually tastes. Fortunately for him he’s not being bashed by serving bad food but for having terrible customer service. Negative stars if I could, one of the weirdest food experiences of my life.

Great Mexican food with a health twist. Not your normal Mexican food, they use spices from all over Mexico, central and South America to add incredible flavor. Most people drive by this place thinking that it is Mexican food with sour cream. Couldn’t be further from the truth. Stop by and check it out for yourself, the owner is passionate about healthy eating and flavor.

Chester, the owner of the taco truck, is the nicest man ever. Free tiny homemade ice cream while we waited for our meal. Completely an amazing experience and the food is just incredible. The owner is so passionate about what he is doing to be unique. Goose bulbs. Inspiring.

Couldn’t wait to write this review. The food was absolutely delicious. The carne asada had so much flavor, I didn’t know what to do with myself. I was making«nom nom» noises with every chew and bite I took. I ordered the«it» burrito and the hubby ordered the tacos. It came with flavorful black beans and abuelita rice. Also had onions that were quite delicious mixed in with the amazing meat. I feel great after eating it and I’m ready to run a mile or 10! The owner offered us a taste of his ice cream. We both decided on the mango strawberry and even that was amazing. Now I’ve read other reviews about the owner talking too much or whatever. But I say… If you’re passionate about something, then you wanna share that view. And I’m absolutely fine with that. He’s passionate about the fact that his meat has no grease and no fat. He even took the time to show us his grease trap. Which btw… NOGREASE. Actually there wasn’t anything in it. He even showed us where he throws whatever happens to be in his grease trap and there’s no sign of grease, just little pieces of meat that fell into it. We will definitely be back. And very soon.

This place was absolutely delicious. He has a unique way of cooking that leaves you satisfied and guilt-free. It was not greasy, fatty, or low in quality. It is a tad bit pricey but it was worth it!!! I love the nutty wutty and I was not even a huge fan of horchata! Thanks Chester!

Great food but this man talks waaaaay too much and I find it annoying so I don’t patronize so as to avoid the over the top ear full. I get the point, I don’t need to hear your entire philosophy, I get it, fresh food, healthy, nice, good… let the food speak for itself. Write a brochure and hand it out especially to people that are nutritional challenged. To me, he is preaching to the choir.

Don’t let the three stars fool you. Tacos and cream makes a delicious burrito with the perfect texture and flavor. That is if you’re in the mood for a green chili, with beans and rice– burrito. They only have 3 options on the menu. All over priced. $ 10 for a burrito that you get no options with. About the same price for his tacos.

Walked up expecting friendly based on other reviews, I did not expect the 7 minute speech about BS. I don’t even eat meat, I don’t need to know his cooking process. He also told me «mexicans» use tomatoes in salsa because they’re cheap & fillers. Wth? I’m Mexican, I use tomatoes because they’re delicious. Since I was already there I decided to fork over the $ 7 dollars for a bean & rice burrito. Sad mistake. It literally took him another 8 minutes to put my burrito together. I was the only customer! I work hard for my money & I know how cheap beans & rice are. Come on guy. I wasn’t even about to pay $ 4 something for a drink.

The owner, Chester, is incredibly nice and welcomes us like family every time he sees us. The food is delicious and, most important to me, it’s healthy even though it’s a cuisine you would usually consider an indulgence. The burritos are a generous size and the best part is there is no grease anywhere. We visit them on 164th by Ace Hardware on the even days at their other location(check their Facebook page, I can’t recall the street) on odd days.

We finally made it and could not have been any more satisfied. We tried the Carne Asada and the Chicken tacos. It is great to finally find a great place for Mexican food in Clark County! We ate at one of the two picnic tables next to the truck and savored every bite of the food. The rice is some of the best I have had. So many places try to make it special and end up over-doing it… not here. It is simple AND wonderful. The carne asada and chicken are both great in their own rights. While the tacos need no additional seasoning or flavor, the homemade sauces(green and white) add a special kick that is sure to please. If you are like us and wonder where the«Cream» comes from, it is their homemade ice cream… and it is amazing as well! We had a great time and were blessed to have been able to get to know Chester(the owner) a bit while there. This place is truly a gem in PDX!!!
