Whoever took my phone order needs a class in customer service. Very rude, cut me off multiple times, and lost out on additional sales because they apparently didn’t have time to let me finish my questions before interrupting me with irrelevant answers. Pizza is okay. Will be taking our business elsewhere in the future.

Slice selection at lunch time is ridiculously limited. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, I’ve had to leave empty handed twice now. They lost a customer who works nearby.

I like the Blind Onion if I’m going out for pizza in Vancouver. They have very tasty crust, if a tad too thick. Their toppings are proportional to the pizza — they never, ever overdress. This could be good or bad depending on your preference. Personally, I mind a little bit when I consider how expensive they are but the more compulsive side of me says, ‘it’s okay’ because I like precise bites of food. The toppings are ultra fresh. The sausage is tremendous if you’re a carnivore. The people that work there are always helpful and friendly. I never dine in; I prefer my pizza at home. The restaurant is usually quite clean. It could have used some TLC the last time I was there but it was the middle of the day — people get tired or lax — it’s understandable. I’d give more stars if they(a) had a thinner crust option and(b) were more reasonable on their prices.

Let me just start by saying we love Blind Onion… For their pizza, NOT their customer service. I get that you close at 10pm, but hey, here’s an idea– if you don’t want to make a pizza after 9:55pm don’t answer your effing phone! My husband just called to find out if we could still order a pizza– it was 9:55pm. He asked if it was too late to order and the guy replied-” I dunno what time your clock says buddy, but mine says 10.” Okay– ignoramus, here’s an idea: if it’s «-10 o’clock»(like for real 10 o’clock) and you don’t want to take anymore pizza orders– fine just say that! Or here’s another brilliant idea– don’t answer the fucking phone. What you cannot do, my friend– is patronize your beloved customer into thinking it’s 10pm when it is in fact 9:55pm– and here’s yet another brilliant thought: if you stop taking orders at say 9:45 or something of the sort– then say that! Do not insult your customer by insinuating he cannot tell time when he can in fact tell time and just wants some God Damn Blind Onion Pizza!

So the taste of the Pizza was actually pretty good and I was really excited when I went in originally with my family to eat. We ordered to go and service was prompt and polite. the reason for the 1 star is I believe there is or was contamination or mishandling of food product. After we ate our food which tasted great. a few hours later my infant and my 9 year old daughter got violently sick. Throwing up every few minutes. a few hours after the kids felt it the adults felt it. My wife and I were ill and violently throwing up for over a week. I called and spoke to a Manager who offered a refund if I would come in… I accepted however I cannot bear the smell of this place. It’s been a month since eating and anytime I approached the door and smelled the Pizza that once attracted me into the pizza place in the first place now makes my stomach turn and feel sour. I decided I cannot even get the refund if it causes me to feel like throwing up again. I’ve also decided to abstain from Pizza places for a while in general.

Love the pizza, but the way we were treated here tonight ensures I will NEVER come back to this location. I’m really disappointed, and hope this is a one time issue, but it’s one time too many.

Great pizza… loved the atmosphere… and no matter how busy it’s been the employees are still very friendly and I will definitely go back.

I love Blind Onion. I went there today after not having it for months. I got there 13 minutes after opening and the pizza crust tasted like it has been sitting there all day already. Was not happy with this experience. They used to be cool

I feel good about bumping this up a star. Here’s why; Although I’m not a fan of soft crusts, over time either they have improved it or I have gotten used to it. Whatever. Some may consider it under-cooked but soft crust is one of their signatures. You have now been warned and thanks for reading, y’all. Previously, I mentioned something about ‘tude. At this point in time(remember THAT phrase, Boomers?) I cannot remember the who, what or when of it. It must not have hurt my widdle feewings all that much as I have probably been in here 30 times since my original review. In those times, all staff at all times have been perfectly professional in all aspects. I know this is a chain but it’s not a huge chain. I still feel the ‘personal touch’ vibe when I come in here. We like that here in the Dell.

Delicious pizza! Love the crust; it has good flavor and a perfect ratio of crust to toppings. The sauce is sweet with a good balance of spiciness. They do put a lot of oil on it to make it nice and crispy on the outside… maybe a tad too much oil but it does allow the leftovers to crisp up nicely in the oven. The breadsticks have a more fermented and aged flavor that I really liked. No sauce was needed for dipping these puppies, just a dusting of parmesan and perfection. The downside and why I cannot give 5 stars… we ate in and was not impressed with the service. Also, the price is way too high. The only time we’ll order(for pickup) here in the future is for the special of the month pizza(which they REALLY need to put on their website) or with a good coupon.

possibly the worst experience I have ever had in my life. well at least recently. my friends and I decided to check this place out because of all the hype related to this establishment so initially my hopes were high. first off the waiter was blatantly rude, he called us «needy», «complicated», and«confusing» personal attacks on me we’re definitely not needed :-/but other than that the food was over priced and greasy. amy out.

Throughout my life, I have been subjected to a host of inadequate dining experiences, but surely this one takes the cake. I felt immediately disrespected by the staff, being called«complicated» and«confusing» when tbh their menu is pretty complicated and confusing. The food, although for some reason very expensive, barely passes for cardboard dusted with tomato. If you want to personally attack your customers be my guest, but you can be sure you won’t see my shining face in this horrific establishment again.

This pizza is the bomb diggity. The best part is dipping your crust in the honey packets they provide. A little pricy, and seating is scarce when this place gets busy.

I’m allergic to dairy and about a million other things but when I want to cheat, I go here. The crust is buttery, soft goodness but then has a good crustiness to it too. I always get the large generals(like a combo) and usually me, my husband and kid will polish it. Nom nom!

Blind Onion makes me never want to order Dominos or Pizza Hut again. This is REAL pizza and it is down right delicious. When I call for delivery, they are always really fast and always get my order right. When I go in to the restaurant, the service is always really great. You can even see them make the pizza in front of you. They make everything with quality ingredients. My favorite pizza is the margarita pizza and I don’t know what kind of cheese they put on it but it is delicious! My boyfriend’s favorite pizza is the Carnivore which has every time of meat on it that you could want. It is a little on the spendy side but it is REALLY good pizza. Highly recommend.

The pizza was absolutely delishhhhhh! The crust was perfect! Perhaps a little bit on the expensive side for a pizza but totally worth it! They had a friendly staff who were very helpful! Hopefully I will be able to visit this joint again when I’m in the area!!! Highly recommended!!!

I love this pizza. They have an awesome crust and anytime we head south I have to stop and get a pizza from the Blind Onion. My husband makes fun of me because I order two pizza and there’s just two of us but makes for plenty of yummy leftovers for the week ahead. We especially feel lucky if we make it in time for happy hour. They do have great beers on tap. The pizza is more expensive but to me well worth it and they have not messed up any of my orders!

W side of NE Hwy 99 S of NE99th St. I was teetering on this one… why you ask? Well because I almost gave them 3 stars because they are pretty darn pricy, but much like a pie out of the oven I simmered and therefore came to this more fair rating! Blind Onion(I just can’t put BO… you know why) delivers(pun intended) a damn good pie. The crust is mighty tasty without being over baked and they use quality and frfesh ingredients without being stingy. The cheese on your pizza will prove both flavor and plenty giving you that nice stringy effect when you take a bite. Eating in can prove a joy as there is plenty of place to sit, lots of condiments, bottomless sodas, and various types of bottled beers. They always seem to have an extremely nice and welcoming staff here which is a major bonus in my book! Here are a couple examples of some pies I’ve had: The General: which has all of their toppings and their BBQ Chicken Pizza: If you’re livin in the Couv then Blind Onion is a great option for a good quality pizza. Seating comes in the form of regular tables and there are lots of them in the two available rooms. Décor is fairly minimalistic with a lot of signs for beer laden throughout. The place is kept immaculate. There is plenty of parking available.
