This place is the real deal for Thai food. The chef, chef Paul, is from Thailand and said all his recipes are as authentic as it gets. I’ve never had anything but delicious food here. I tend to get the pad kee mao(drunken noodles), and it’s amazing. Be sure to ask chef paul if there’s anything not on the menu that he recommends; I’ve had him whip up dishes that he doesn’t put on the menu that are his family recipes. I didn’t give it 5 stars because the atmosphere is pretty bland. On the outside and inside this place is nothing special to look at, but you won’t find better Thai food anywhere in the Portland/Vancouver metro area I promise.

Top Thai Kitchen has closed effective around early November 2015. Sadly, business at this location was not sufficient to make a living. Watch for Chef Paul to relocate to another restaurant in the area. Chok dee, Chef Paul. Good luck.

Meh… incredibly long wait times for OK food. I have visited this establishment 3 times as my Wife’s Plan C, with the results being the same every time. Husbands if you are waiting in the car for your wife to get her food, bring a good playlist.

Every time we go here we try to order something different and work our way through the menu. We haven’t had anything but great dishes every time. The veggies are perfectly cooked, the sauces light and delicious, and Chef Paul frequently comes out with samples of other dishes for us to try. Yes, there will be a wait. One awesome chef making fresh food is not quick, but it is worth the wait.

This restaurant was wonderful! We highly recommend it! We arrived there 20 minutes before closing and the family who owns the restaurant welcomed us in and treated us like friends. The food was delicious, and the service was superb!

No substitutions! We actually left while trying to place an order because we couldn’t get the chicken on the side for the dog. Vancouver has some great Thai restaurants that don’t feel so institutionalized(hospitality, environment, menu) so there are plenty of other Thai places in the city.

My current favorite Thai spot in Vancouver. It’s my first choice for lunch or dinner whenever I’m around that area of 4th Plain. I first went for take out Pad Thai a month or so ago and have visited back with friends since then. I have had their Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Tom Yum Soup, and salad rolls. All enjoyable.

First time I use EAT24, the restaurant claims not to get my order. I wait. Second time I use EAT24, they first claim to not get my order, then tell me they have it. I wait 15 minutes and then they tell me they haven’t gotten my payment and won’t give me my food. They tell me to call EAT24 to complain. They have my cash and I’ve got no food. THISISTHEIRIDEAOFCUSTOMERSERVICE? Avoid.

I really like their Thai and I have eaten at most Thai places in Vancouver! They are probably my 2nd fav thai place: D

Waited forty minutes for food during lunch hour. Ended up taking it to go and will save it for dinner because I don’t have time to eat it. Now starving.

The noodle soup was good, it’d probably better if the soup flavor is a bit stronger. Personally I think the price for lunch menu is kind of high, especially when the restaurant is pretty empty, when I was there, I was the only one that stay, the other 2 customers got take out. Overall, I think the place is pretty decent, just need more adjustment and oh, have delivery option would be a plus!

Worst Thai food I have literally ever had. I ordered the lunch special with Pad Thai, yellow curry and an order of salad rolls. The pad thai tasted really bad. It tastes dirty dishes. The yellow curry was good except for the pineapple they put in it! When I as ked about salad eolls, I was told that the chef was looking out for me and would bring them out to me after meal because I had yellow curry and there is shrimp in the rolls. WTF does that have to do with anything? How about you bring the appetizers before the entrees, I know it is such a novel idea. If I could give negative stars I would.

This is my favorite Thai place. Best pad thai I’ve had. The chef is very nice and willing to give recommendations. The rad na is also awesome.

We’ve tried this place twice, both times ordered takeout. First time called and placed order, we were told to pick up in twenty minutes. Arrived when told to and waited another 30 minutes for food. No excuses given or apologies. Not worth the wait, mediocre at best. Second time. Picked up when told, food was ready this time. The worse Thai I food I’ve literally had, ever. No flavour. Expensive and NOTWORTHIT!

I called in for take out. I was quoted 25 minutes, which seems like a long time but it actually took 50 minutes! 50 minutes for one order of crab puffs, Phở and fried rice… There were 2 customers there when my husband arrived to pick up the order. The Phở was decent and the crab puffs were ok. I haven’t heard from my husband about the fried rice. I’ll update this if I do. We won’t be back. There are many Thai food restaurants around and we will spend our money someplace else for faster service and better food.

Ordered salad rolls to go today. Was kinda disappointed. First of all, they were almost 6 dollars and they were so tiny. And inside it was filled with lettuce only and two little pieces of shrimp. That is it. I’ve tried a lot of salad rolls, these were definitely not the best onces. :((that was some expansive piece of lettuce!

Always have the yellow curry or the pad Thai and it’s always excellent. Highly recommend if you gotta have Thai.

Great pad Thai, my dad thinks the medium is too spicy but it was right on for me. Error on the side of caution

Very impressed by both the menu and the price. Thank you for coming to Vancouver! Authentic Thai food, and the chef came out and introduced himself. We will definitely be going back to this place.

Overall it is an okay Thai restaurant. I had the massaman curry(or I think that was what it was called) and my friend had the spicy basil chicken. The curry was alright. I have had way better. But then again I don’t really like pineapple or potatoes in my Thai curry. The spicy basil chicken didn’t taste right. Quite different than I am used to. It sort of had a bitter taste to it and didn’t really have a basil taste to it at all. I preferred the curry over the basil chicken. The spicy-ness is Thai spicy so watch out when you order. I thought 3 was good. The staff were friendly and the service was great. The place is pretty clean too.
