Value Motel

One word to describe this place; Wow, and in the most negative way it can be taken. Granted, I wasn’t expecting much for the price (which their sign deceived me of), but this place truly takes the cake as far as seedy motels go.
First off, the drive into the motel parking lot was like a scene from a horror movie. Dilapidated and boarded up buildings line the small street, and potholes abound. When I walked in I was greeted by a very rude younger girl who has no business in the hospitality business and doesn’t appear to enjoy talking to people or making them feel welcome at all. After taxes, a standard room with one bed for the night came to $ 68.24. Don’t let their massive freeway sign deceive you; their website calls it «historic», which is probably why there’re allowed to get away with the false advertising.
The room had a dirty bathtub with black specs running down the drain with the water turned on (didn’t even shower fully, just put my head under the jet stream and shampooed), an old school television with the remote securely fastened to the night stand, no fridge, no microwave, and there was trash underneath the bed. A small winged creature played on the ceiling, which I promptly squished.
The bedding seemed to be decent, but I had no intention of taking a risk. I slept with my day clothes on and hoodie over my head. Disgusting place.
For about $ 5 more you can stay at the Howard Johnson by Van Mall and enjoy WiFi, continental breakfast, fridge, nice TV, clean rooms and infinitely better service. Do NOT stay here, there are other options around, please take a few minutes to find them because you WILL be disappointed if you settle for this dump.

For the love of GOD, please do NOT stay here unless you don’t care about your safety whatsoever. For starters, one section of the hotel rooms are boarded up due to recent crime activity. It’s filthy, children are not allowed (what does that tell you?), and if you book online and then find out, too late, as I did how TRULY HORRIBLE it really is, you will NOT get a refund. I wouldn’t stay in one of these rooms without a hazmat suit and a police escort. PLEASE PAY A LITTLE MORE AND BE SAFE AND COMFORTABLE!!! We went up I-​5 to the La Quinta and breathed a sigh of relief. Sometimes it pays to spend a little more money, especially when it comes to safety and cleanliness.

Almost booked this place because all of Portland was sold out, read the reviews, phoned a friend, got saved by a couch. Thank you Unilocalers

Why do I have to give one star? Staff was nice. Linens were FILTHY! Bathroom tub had a pile of shaved pubes (for real). After a 15 hour drive we decided that we could sleep here. Then we found a used condom in the trash can. Staff could not refund us. We disputed with the credit card. We are out $ 50 but still better than staying there! Want pictures? Just ask.

Cheap motel. Our case was super busy so I paid $ 25 for each person ($ 50 total) but I don’t think this price isn’t good this motel coz it is super small and dirty. I don’t know average price and I know this time is super busy that’s why our price is expensive.
The room is extremely small… like 10
Feet x 20 feet. Bath room is share with another one bed room, but I couldn’t flush. I mean it broken. In addition, no keys.
The good thing is reception is really kind. My friend left his T– shirts, but they kept for us.
