Breakers Base Restaraunt

The only meal I like here is breakfast. It’s really good. I also like the fresh fruit. Now the hash browns are gross they are never cooked right.

I’ve only been a couple times but this d fac is everything you need on your lunch break. There are always open cashiers so you can eat real quick and still have time to PT. Perfect.

They have made a lot of changes in the mess hall since I retired 32 years ago– but one thing they have not changed– the food is still lousy. Rubber chicken is now called Jamacan Jerk chicken. Same old mess hall food. On top of the poor taste, our current administration has gotten involved with menu planning and that has never helped the taste of anything. Unless I was starving, I would avoid this place like the plague. To be fair, weekend mess was always lousy. We ate here on a Saturday at lunch. Weekdays might be better. I don’t plan on finding out.

Clean and bright, and the staff is very friendly. I primarily come here for either breakfast or lunch. With that being said, I can’t say much about the rotating menu, but I can see how someone could get tired of the menu. If you’re not on a meal card your check can add up quickly.
