Shhh. Don’t tell anyone about this beach. Let’s keep it our little secret. This beach is on the West Side of the island has vastly different views than many of the other island beaches like Pt Robinson. Mainly you can look directly across toe Maplewood or north toward Southworth. It’s a large, rocky beach with a grassy picnic area. There are also BBQ pits and a rustic campsite area. It’s got my dogs seal of approval. Bonus info — The name Lisabuela is the names of the former property owners daughters combined; Lisa and Beula.

If you’re visiting Vashon Island, you may like to search out a wonderful sunset. Well Lisabuela Beach Park is where it’s at! Luckily, the park is quiet and out of the way! The park looks west across the Puget Sound at the small town of Olalla. The entire park is five and a half acres in size with a kayak boat launch. There is a designated picnic area and a small parking lot is available without a difficult turn-around. If you’re lucky, you may even witness seals swimming about like we did!
