The BEST Indian food on the Westside. Owner is super friendly and accepts $ 5 discounts for orders over $ 30 even if you forget your coupon.

Their chicken tikka is DELICIOUS! Honestly, don’t hesitate trying this place out you will not be disappointed. I don’t understand the low number of stars. I always get a consistent dish that always leaves me wanting more. Both the spicy tikka and the regular tikka are awesome. And, secondarily, the staff are really really nice and sweet people — there’s no reason not to give it a shot, I guarantee you will not regret it.

We live in Venice and have enjoyed Agra for several years, until the last few times we’ve ordered… things have been forgotten in our deliveries(already paid for, however) and I have no idea why it seems to regularly take an hour and 20 minutes to get food from the restaurant itself to the delivery destination a few streets over. By the time we get our food, it’s cold and not very yummy. I feel bad, because the delivery driver is SONICE and sweet. But, we’re over it. Not worth the money for the wait or the food itself.

I ordered delivery & should have checked the bag. Especially because I paid for tips while ordering. Big mistake. No ustensiles, no napkins and our guests actually needed some. The food was way too spicy and just okay… Nothing special. Fast delivery however. I won’t buy from this place in the future.

Food is okay. Very dry it you order the tandoori lunch special. Naan bread is said to be included in that but was hit with $ 2.25 charge for it. I paid as I was in a hurry but was not given credit for it after I realized it. I’d suggest other places like a buffet for lunch as the owners mislead with lunch menus that don’t include basic aspects of an Indian lunch like the specific cuisine equivalent of bread — naan. Otherwise they ruin what could be aromatic spices and decent service over a minuscule amount of unleavened garlic encrusted sheet of flour and water.

I was in the mood for some good Indian food delivered to the hotel. I was quoted it would take 45 minutes. An hour went by and no food. I called and asked what was up? He said«traffic»? Well it was Monday night at 8pm? Seems odd. Anyway. The food was just ok. Chicken tikka-good flavor but not enough chicken Rice– average Naan not good. Too doughy, bland, soggy Veg samosa-bland Overall my experience was not good. Food took too long to arrive and everything was bland. The prices too high for quality. Next…

So yesterday I thought I lost my wallet, i already ordered take out from here. I called and told him to cancel my order as I couldn’t find my wallet and had NO money to pay for it. He told me to come in and get it anyways and he trusted me that I would come back. AMAZING kindness that gives you hope in humanity. I did go back the next day and pay. The food was also amazing! I grew up with home cooking Indian food, and trust me the food here is authentic! DEFINITELYCHECKTHEMOUT! Good food and AMAZING people who deserve the business :)

People who eat here are either not Indian. or have long forgotten what Indian food was supposed to taste like. This was so disappointing and I was so hungry and 49 dollars down am still hungry with the food in the bin though there are homeless people down the road from me, I thought giving it to them would be cruel and mean. Chicken tikka dry. Biryani — rice mixed with some curry sauce and freaking peas? The chicken in the biryani was dry too. The one star is for the naan.

We went there for sit down late lunch one Saturday. I liked the fact that this one is open all day Saturday and Sunday compared to the regular«closed between 2−5pm» thing that most Indian restaurants do. We had coconut curry and Chicken Tikka Masala and actual entrees were quite good. Mango lassi was this weird orange color and just ok. Naan was weirdly dry or something. Not my favorite naan(we had regular naan) and rice was just ok too. Nothing great. And price was good. So overall, little uneven, but I MIGHT go back, or most likely to order take-out, but I wasn’t totally blown away. Since it was weekend we parked at the side street.

We ordered delivery to my work for lunch! The food came pretty on-time and was VERY organized, which is awesome for large group orders. The chicken tikki masala was the most common lunch ordered, however, the rogan gosh was ultimately the most popular. Must get the naan as well. We ordered several for the group to share — the garlic naan went the fastest, the cheese was super tasty, and those that didn’t want the garlic breath went for the regular naan. Will be ordering again!

I love love love this place!!! Good was sooooo delicious! Service was awesome!!! Everything we ordered was made perfectly! My daughter(who’s such a picky eater) doesn’t really approve of any new/different kind of food! But tonight she ate everything off her plate and tried everything we ordered! If you are looking for good eats, this is the place to go! I will be returning.

You know, the food here is consistently good. It’s not great, but it’s good. Also the portions are quite large. The inside has a lot left to be desired from a décor perspective, but the service is excellent, the music is excellent, and the food is right in the pocket of what Indian food should be. I ordered the chicken saag and my girlfriend order the paneer makhani. They were both good. Again is it the best Indian food ever? no. But when you come here, the staff is very knowledgeable about food restriction concerns,(one of us can’t do cilantro and one cannot do dairy) and they know what ingredients are in what. So there’s no nervousness or anxiousness regarding that aspect of our meal. We order out from here often, and they do very fast delivery. Also after 6PM you can park on the street on Lincoln. Right in front of the restaurant. It is a little sketchy because it’s Venice and it’s Lincoln, but I still recommend it.

OMG meat samosas in LA! Really this is the best Indian food I had since I moved to LA from NYC. Everything was hot and flavorful! My GF loves spicy food so this was the perfect blend. And the service was just as wonderful. Stop by if you’re looking for a great time and meat!

Ordered takeout from here and was glad to find some solid Indian food nearby! I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala(basic, typical order — but the standard by which I judge many Indian places I try — I mean, if you can’t get this right, can I trust you with other curries?). The Tikka Masala was decent. It was warm, savory, creamy and satisfying. I didn’t have any complaints, but it wasn’t my favorite Tikka Masala. Every place has their own recipe, and I’m frankly more fond of Taj India Palace’s Tikka Masala recipe(in Westchester). Either way, though, it was a solid dish. The standout of the night, however, was the Lamb Pasanda. I had never heard of this type of curry before, but man am I glad I ordered it. The lamb was perfectly cooked and spiced wonderfully with the green curry. Yum! I’ll be ordering this again! The naan was a bit tough and soggy by the time it got to me, but I suppose that’s what I get for ordering takeout. I suggest maybe packaging up their naan in paper bags, instead of foil next time, to help with the sogginess?

I saw a promoted tweet by an app called«OrderAhead,» which advertised free deliveries & a $ 5 promotion code. I thought, «Why not?» OrderHead is an interesting app, although I don’t like how they charge $ 6 normally to deliver food and not all of your comments will be relayed to your delivery person, e.g. hotel room number. I digress. Here’s what I ordered: Meat Samosa($ 4.42) You get two of these, and I didn’t think they were very flavorful. I need more spice and more than simply ground beef inside. Aloo Naan($ 3.92) Bland. Needs to be fried more or have more oil, since very dry. I realize you’re supposed to use to dip, but I was hoping a bread stuffed with potatoes and peas(didn’t really see many peas) would be more tasty. Paratha($ 3.64) I’ve pan-fried paratha from the frozen food section of an Indian grocery store that has more butter and is flakier. Skip this altogether. Beef Coconut Curry($ 13.38) My mom and I are from Malaysia. This curry sauce is the CLOSEST I’ve EVER tasted to mom’s cooking! The beef was tough as heck, but the sauce was absolutely delicious. It had the right consistency with the right mix of spices. I wish there had been a bit more carrots and potatoes, but it was scrumptious! Rice Pudding($ 3.36) Perfect! The right amount of sweetness, this pudding also had the correct texture! Add tax($ 2.56), tip($ 3.13), free delivery, and a $ 5 promotion, and my bill was a total of $ 29.41. I would skip the appetizer and breads. Order the coconut curry and rice pudding!
