I found this quite by accident when strolling by there on Venice Avenue. I noticed a special for lunch $ 8.00 — this included a cup of soup and ½ sandwich. It so happened that a couple sitting outside were enjoying this special and it looked so good I had to try it for myself. The soup of the day was WHITEASPARAGUSSOUP, and coming from Europe, this is something I see too little of here in America. Loved it!!! Also the ½ TUNASANDWICH that I ordered was great, but I wish they would have given me a choice of the bread to be toasted. Coffee was excellent — got good service and would recommend this place!!!

We didn’t eat so this is for the space and not the food. Great location but seems like they could do better with the ambiance. The dining room was too bright for dinner time and the weird French pop music was a mood killer. But what I noticed most was the total lack of good food smells. The place smelled like plastic or cardboard… If this were my place I would string some lights, play Edith Piaf or other old French music and bake some baguettes to make the place more enticing. Staff was ho hum and it took really long to have our drink order taken. Fortunately we had dinner reservations somewhere else and were able to escape.

Have eaten at most restaurants in Venice and this one ranks close to the top. Food and service were excellent. Chef was very helpful with suggestions and accommodated our family of five including a 2 year old. Very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The waffles and crepes anytime of the day great for kids. The place was not overly busy and I will admit at first I was a little concerned bringing kids into a small French restaurant. The staff made us feel very comfortable and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back with friends and more family and next time the tapas

Went for an early ‘dinner’ of tapas & wine with best pal. We each had 4 different tapas & a glass of sangria all for only $ 13.50 and we were absolutely stuffed with no room for dessert! Quite an extensive tapas menu, as well as a regular menu. Each of our tapas dishes were delicious. The evening service is very French(i.e. not rushed along), pleasant wait staff and we very much enjoyed the hour & a half we munched on the good food. Both of us will eat there again, and I’ve already recommended it to others. Three thumbs up!

We ordered 15 tapas dishes(an economical and delicious option) and tasted many of the offerings. All were delicious — with the chicken curry and lamb pâté particular standouts. All four of us highly recommend this place and intend to return. Also a great place to test out your high school French.

I came across this place by accident, but I’m so glad I did. The service was only second to their meals! I came on a Saturday evening around 8:30pm off season and they were slow. I almost chose the Italian restaurant down the street, but I felt like trying their Tapas and I’m so glad… I won’t ever pass it up again. 20 great choices of tapas for as little as $ 12.95 for four. Who can resist??! They were all delicious and so was their Merlot. They do have a regular menu so I’ll be coming back to try that for sure.

We had dinner last night and it was very nice(previously we had lunch). The Tapas were very good — the antipasto Tapa was quite tasty. The House Paella was very flavorful with just the right amount of seafood and rice. Although the calamari was slightly over cooked and«chewy» the overall dish was very good. This is a different type of restaurant in Venice and it is worth a visit at least once. We will return again.

I ordered the wrap of the day which was half tuna and half chicken curry. When it came out it was all chicken curry so I asked if this was correct and had it returned. When they brought out my new wrap it was half chicken curry and half tuna literally on both sides of the wrap. My friend was with me and she ordered the pain bagnet and it came out on a Walmart hamburger bun. overall the chicken curry was good but we would not come here again. To add to the experience National Geographic was playing on TV so we watched lions eating each other throughout our entire meal

I was hesitant to try this because of the lack of reviews. I had a greek salad with chicken that was very good. Nice place. Friendly service.

Stopped in for lunch with three others. Service was stressed and under staffed. There were 5 unbussed tables. Our waiter worked hard to get us our food. It was okay but not a do over. Might have potential but competition is stiff in downtown.
