This was my first experience at Motel 6 and had the worst experience. No microwave, refrigerator, or wifi (unless you want to pay $ 2.99 a night). The shower was freezing cold, but don’t worry the sink is burning hot. Worst of all, we found a cockroach in the bathroom and they said they would take care of it and by the time we got back to our room, it was still there. Definitely NOT staying here again…

Very basic. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Wi-​fi is not free); It’s $ 2.99 a day unless AARP or other discounts. It’s ok close to server. Room 115 almost non– existent); Shower stall, very tight); TV — 32″ (; Laundry room. Vending machines. Non-​smoking rooms may or may not be); Our non-​smoking room had a cigar smoker previously); Room was clean. No dresser just shelves. Staffers were very friendly and helpful especially Annette ((; Free coffee in the morning !! Nice pool !! Restaurants within walking distance ((; OK for the price. They have a weekly rate !! We might come back. Hotels are slim pickings in this area. Ramada is $$

Auf unserem Roadtrip durch Florida sind wir u.a. auch im Motel 6 in Venice abgestiegen:
Zimmer:
Top! Neu renoviertes Zimmer inkl. neu renoviertem Bad, bequemes Bett und Flachbild TV. Wie in Florida üblich natürlich mit der obligatorischen Klimaanlage.
Alles sehr sauber!
Personal:
sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Lage:
in wenigen Autominuten ist man am Strand und in noch weniger Minuten in der Innenstadt

I arrived very late one night, stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They allowed pets. The grounds were kept clean, and I felt safe while I was staying there.
