Venice Center for Peace with Justice and the Arts

This is an awesome space! This is one of those great non-​profit spaces that provide a supportive, inspiring and positive environment for those who need it most. Focused on youth, they have a skate ramp outside and an indoor space that just screams creativity and expression.
Multiple programs call this space their homes, including:
Global Groove–
A program for younger children to explore their creativity after school or just whenever.
Inside Out–
A program for middle school children with an emphasis on diversity and activities including art and music.
They also make their space available for other community events. I attended a Swap O Rama Rama clothing swap and redesign event here
and was impressed with this center. It’s almost hidden if you are not looking for it, but it’s one of those great places that more people should know about.
We need more of these positive community centers! Even the bathrooms were decorated. Check out the pictures (of the main room, not restroom) to get an idea!
