How did this place get re-opened? Edit: HOWWASTHISPLACERE-RE-OPENED?!? The previous concept when it was first reopened was that the buffet was filled with raw food and then you’d have to wait in a queue to get your food cooked by the cooks. Kinda cool concept but when I go to a buffet, I want my food right away. Then this place rereopened and it learned from its past failures and put actual cooked food in the buffet trays. It was still bad. I hate this place. But my grandma loves it because it’s cheap and her taste buds are probably getting too old. If I have one word to describe this place, it’s: garlic. Garlic everywhere. Garlic in your food. Garlic in your mouth. Garlic in your sweat. Garlic in your stomach. Garlic on the ride back home.

I keep a «light» kosher, so I do not eat shellfish, or non-kosher meat/chicken…so my choices are somewhat limited. The cold and hot stations are clean, and they are well-attended. If an item is running low, it is soon replenished. Plenty of vegetarian choices… hot and cold Lots of chicken, lamb, spare ribs, and cold shellfish. Eight choices of ice cream to scoop, in buckets, and hot apple pie. Some American choices for the kids, such as onion rings, fries, chicken nuggets, wings. Modest sized salad bar with fresh cut fruit — -melons and strawberries, bananas. What brings me to this buffet, though, is the Mongolian hibachi grill. A clean, hot, iron flattop with a skilled chef. Choose your ingredients, noodles, cut vegetables, sauces and let the chef go to work. Choose thick-cut bacon. sliced beef, chicken, fish, shell fish and sliced fish. Once they had tofu. About 10 different sauces. All stir-fried to order. THISISDELICIOUS! Sadly, the restaurant is clean, well-stocked, plenty of nice help, and a GREATDEAL, but it is at a dead end of a dead shopping center. I hope the word gets out and their business takes off. Lots of nice clean tables and upholstered chairs. Good spacing between tables. Some TVs on the wall. On a main street, on the bay, near the Pathmark. I am ready to go back — RIGHTNOW — -to get a stir-fry. Bok choy, sliced salmon, sea legs, mushrooms, zucchini, onions, scallions, chopped garlic — -I add sauce, and get a wonderful steaming plate. One of the BEST deals in town. $ 11.99 for dinner, less 10% if 62 or over.

i came here for lunch on a saturday, unfortunately very empty given the potential this place has. frankly this place is currently 3 stars. the other Unilocal reviews are NOT warranted. Come-on, it costs 8 bucks for all you can eat lunch and there’s a 10% off Unilocal coupon on top of that? This is an amazing deal given the variety. the reason why i say 3 stars currently is because some of the food had been sitting out too long but with enough customers, this place has amazing potential and can easily be 4 stars selection for the mongolian grill was top notch and you can customize it. they have sushi rolls which actually was very fresh. ice cream was good quality as well. come on Unilocaler’s give this place some love so the turnover on food improves. its a good bargain, and food quality would be very good if fresh.

This has been the first time I’ve been to this establishment(after an evening at the boardwalk here in AC). While the exterior of the Grill seemed deselect and barren, once you walk in you are nicely greeted with a wonderful receptionist/waiter. This individual was kind enough to explain to us what foods we were about to expect here. If you expected this to be just another Hibachi/Buffet, then you were right. With customary Chinese American foods, ranging from: Beef and Broccoli, Fried Rice, Lo Mein, Egg Roll, etc, Mongolian Grill is the place to be for cheap eats. At its introductory 7.99 and 13.99(Lunch and Dinner Respectively) Mongolian Grill hits the proper price point for such establishments. While foods were sub par from what you would expect from a buffet place, Mongolian Grill was far below that. Items were to be found either overly soggy or overly crunchy. The only items I’ve found solace in were the bottomless ice cream. So if you are in town for buffet and don’t want to travel far from you favorite casinos, head here. Even then, you get what you paid for.

I’ve been there 3 times in the last month, each time the food was fresh & excellent, and the service was very good too. No idea why people keep saying they had a bad experience. It’s a buffet, so price depends on what day/time you go, but it’s reasonably priced. Also, I have a food allergy, and they have been very accommodating & willing to answer my questions.

Excellent concept. Terrible delivery. 2nd visit, asked for no oil, chef cooked in heavy oil. No attempt to correct the problem after talking to two employees. ANDWE’REDONE. Don’t waste your time and money.

And done. First visit was awesome, but second visit a few days later, unacceptable. They didn’t listen to dietary restrictions, nothing was dine to correct it and thru didn’t come back to the table to check anything. It was thoroughly unacceptable. If you don’t care where you eat, then eat here. But if you do, then avoid this place like the plague

First time here since my parents suggested this new place open by Pathmark. Was very excited until we tasted the food and was very disappointed. They charged $ 13.99 per person. All of their sauce tasted the same and wasnt a big fan of it. Def not coming back here. Total waste of money and appetite
