Contractors’warehouse

As lumberyards in the Ventura-​Oxnard area go, this is my favorite. In no way glitzy, they have about everything you will need for any project. Prices are in liine with its rivals, and the selection is generally better than most.
I especially like the drive thru lumber yard. You drive in, load up and then pay inside. No need to drag a heavy cart around then have to push it out to the parking lot to load!

Good prices and huge stock from building supplies to kitchen sinks. You do NOT need a contractor’s license to shop here.
My husband loves home projects and we are constantly stopping at Lowe’s for plumbing or electrical or some darn thing. But sometimes, the only place that has what he is looking for, like a vanity for a bathroom remodel, or flooring trim, is at Contractors’. I’ve also called and asked for some oddball item, and they take the time to check and see if they have it in stock. They also walk you right to whatever nut or bolt you are looking for.
This place is hard to find off of Johnson, and don’t turn into the first gate with a guard for the lumber. My husband likes this drive in lumber yard where you can load it in your truck and check out with it. No cart loading and unloading. The parking lot is the next opening.
