J & C Collision Center

My fiancé & I went to this place to fix this scratch on my car. When we came to pick my car up, we were notified they fixed the dent on the bumper as well, free of charge! I thought it was a very nice gesture, given that we didn’t know there was a dent in the first place. Decent prices as well.

In mid-​Dec, we had an accident & pulled into a Ventura Comfort Inn parking lot to give the details to the CHP. Since it was evening, CHP advised us to stay overnight. Turned out to be good advice. You just don’t think of all the things that need to be done after an accident. Staying provided the extra time to do all the things right like call ins, get a rental car, call AAA for a tow &, the reason for this post, find a good repair shop. My insurer provided me with the names of two approved repair shops so I used Unilocal to check them out. Both were good, but the first had a squirrelly problem with its web site. No matter what direction I tried to get at it, it kept redirecting me. Ominous sign! The second was J&C which had nothing but good reviews. Also an ominous sign however I could get on their web site & get a level of comfort. Long story short, we towed the car to J&C, met the famous Enrique (who was mentioned in the other posts) who gave me a tour, was impressed by the size & repair facilities – one of the largest auto body shops that I’ve seen & they had a room devoted to a huge frame puller which looked like it could straighten out anything. Did I say long story short? Upshot, I did not get my car repaired at J&C! Insurance totaled the car. So why am I rating them? Repair est $ 7,000, blue book $ 10,000. Enrique told them that tear down might reveal another $ 2,000. Ins co didn’t want to do tear down. So I asked Enrique to do tear down & I would pay for it. He advised against it, saying it often isn’t worth it. It’s an answer from the CUSTOMER’S perspective. Enough said.

Last month I got into a car accident. My insurance company gave me the choice of a few collision repair centers in their network and I chose J & C because they were closest to where I live.
J & C made the whole process as least painful as possible. My initial contact there was with Arlene who provided great customer service and took the time to address all my concerns and questions about how the process works as I had never gotten into an accident before.
My car needed over $ 6,000 in repairs and after a little over two weeks I got it back. It looks great! There are no signs of it having been in an accident.
Enrique was my point of contact the whole time which was great. It’s really nice to have one person I can deal with from start to finish on a business’ end because it’s tedious having to explain your situation over and over to different people. He kept me in the loop the whole time, always available to answer any questions I had and take my calls.
J&C offers optional text status updates which were really helpful in figuring out how long I needed to keep my rental car.
A day or two after I got my car back, I noticed a couple of minor details that were overlooked. I contacted them about it and they were more than happy to address them at a time convenient for me. Their free wi-​fi in the waiting area came in handy to do some school work online while I waited.

J & C serviced us back in 2013 for an accident on my husband’s truck. We went back to them regarding an issue with the driver’s side door in 2014 and they fixed it as well, great price and service, texting updates always a bonus! Yesterday my husband and father in law closed the garage door on the back of my 2014 mustang and scraped it all the way down. J & C will be doing this work too… great estimate, guys know what they are doing, reliable, dependable, trust worthy. Thanks guys! Enrique is our point man. Not that I want to keep throwing money their way hahah but when you need body work done, J&C is the place to go.

The folks here are professional, courteous, and do a darn great job of repairing cars. My car looks better than it did before I brought it into the shop

I highly recommend this place. They were just a breath of fresh air to deal with. I got my car back in a timely manner and it looked amazing. When I dropped it off to them the back end was smashed and my car was filthy when I picked it up it was fully detailed inside and out. (It even smelled better inside)

This place is awesome! I had a huge dent on my back bumper. My car is only 2 yrs old and I was freaking out! The staff are all super friendly, their prices are fair, my car looks amazing, and they helped me get into a rental car fast. My KIA Soul is happy again!

If you want your car to look like new again, this is where you need to go! They have the best painters, auto body techs and customer service representatives in the business. FIVE STARS!!!

These guys are awesome! Could not possibly be more helpful, honest, straightforward or friendly. You hate to have to need collision repair work, but if you do, these guys will do their best to make a really bad situation less bad for you. No hard sell, no pushing to go thru your insurance. The shop is clean, you are offered water or coffee, and they have TV while you wait. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I got in an accident two months ago. J & C Collision was recommended by Mercury Insurance, so I went with their recommendation. I was very pleased with their customer service as well as the wonderful job they did with repairing my vehicle.
I had over $ 8K in damages and it took a little over 3 weeks to make the repairs, so the only downer side was getting a rental car for that period of time. I really missed all the comforts of my own car. J & C delivered my car to me the day they promised and I commend them for that.
I highly recommend J & C if you are looking for quality work and service. The staff is wonderful and they explain everything in detail in layman’s terms. Love them! =0)

I was recommended to go here through my insurance company since they deal with progressive. I was very happy with the work done with my car after someone rear-​ended me.
My car was in the shop for 16 days and I had to get a rental car (I was obviously not thinking when I was doing my car insurance and didn’t get rental insurance) so I had to pay out of pocket, the staff assured me that they would try to hurry and fix my car as soon as possible since they knew I was paying out of pocket. They even drove me to enterprise so that I could get the rental and was able to get a discounted rate since I was using them.
My car looks awesome, very pleased with this place. Highly recommened this place to anyone who needs body work done to their car.

Great guys. Both my Mazda and Toyota turned out great. Easily the best around. Jesus was great and he really made an effort to make sure the repair was done right.
