You ladies were awesome and totally opened my eyes to the fact that there are still people out there with awesome customer service.
I walk in and right away I am greeted not only by one but by both team members, with a greeting that wasn’t fake or in that tone like, I have to say hi. The greeting was genuine and refreshing.
Right away they asked if I was looking for something specific and asked if there can be of any assistance… I was totally surprised. If there wasn’t a size on the shelf they were able to look on the upper shelves and in the back, super helpful and attentive.
I actually purchased some heels a few days before and they didn’t fit right. After explaining the situation, she had said I can easily exchange them although I took the tag off (unworn) but had the receipt-​she basically made my exchange experience really easy and stress free.
This location has a better selection than the one in the Pacific View Mall. Come here for selection and great customer service!

Payless is a store that sells inexpensive shoes. If you need shoes for your kid’s tap class, this is the place to go. If you need shoes for one or two uses, this is the place to go. If you need everyday shoes and don’t want to spend a lot, this is the place to go. If you’re going to be on your feet all day, you might want to look into higher quality shoes at a higher price point.

Everyone has shopped at Payless at some point. Not the greatest, yet not terrible if u need a quick pick up of a shoe. They have a fair variety, but let me tell u why I love this particular store. CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Today, 10−13−11, I was driving home (after 7pm) w my 2 kids. I remembered I needed shoes for a costume. Nothing fancy. I park in front of the double glass doors. I got out, opened the door to see a Hispanic young lady. I say to her, «I have 2 kids in the car watching a DVD, I don’t want to leave them in the car, but I don’t want to bring them in either. I’m looking for a Mary Jane style shoe in a size 9.» She goes to the shelf, brings me the shoe, while I’m still able to see my car, I slip it on, I say ok, & she takes my order to the counter. She offers me a special. I hand her my cards, & before I knew it, I was back in my car. My kids could see me & I could see them. Nobody had a fallout. It all happened in less then 5 minutes. I LOVE when my shopping experience is better then I planned. It’s hard to shop with kids. I didn’t get the name of the young lady who helped me, but I really appreciated her assistance.
