PizzaMan Dan’s

Thought I’d give it another try. Not burnt but still a little over cooked. Cheese not melty, dry like day old pizza. I gave a piece to my toddler, he pointed at it and said «uh-​oh». He tried to feed it to my dog and my dog sniffed it and walked away. I think I’ll stick to Topper’s.

My go to pizza place in Ventura has been Toppers for years, but pizza man dans has won me over in many ways. I usually get my order for pick up and have non stop excellent service from call to check out. Becky the main cashier is usually there when I pick up and I’m always greeted with a warm hello and excellent service. Juan, one of the cooks and the person who usually hands me my pizza is always friendly and always offers the best customer service. I usually order the thin crust garden special which is LOADED with veggies and they offer free garlic, jalapeños and pineapple to that pizza which makes the perfect sweet, salty and savory flavor contrasts. They also offer free garlic on ANY pizza (YES)!!The wings are bursting with flavor and are served with lush ranch. They offer great deals with online coupons and a mobile check In that’ll give you free food and awesome exclusive deals. From the great customer service, amazing food and deals pizza man dans is my go to pizza place and these few things will keep me coming back.

I’m giving it a 3 star because we got a half cheese and meat pizza and the cheese side was burnt. The cheesy garlic bread brought it back though…

This ws place was great for delivery! We were at the beach and they delivered promptly to a lifeguard tower where we were. The pizza tasted great and the price was fair. I highly recommend!!!

Great place, thin cut pizza made to order, beautiful, friendly staff. Great go large groups good atmosphere you can hold a conversation without been drowned out with noise.

Good pizza but to to me it tastes like chuck e chesse pizza trust me, but still good and the atmosphere is great to watch some games

It’s nice to have a pizza and you can tell whoever made it knows what there doing. Had the el Diablo Fuego and I’m not sure if I’m every gonna try anything else on the menu cause it was so good. Heavily layered but not to the point everything’s falling off. I usually don’t eat the crust either but they’ve reached a level of professionalism I wasn’t expecting crunchy on the outside and just chewy enough to keep me going. If you go here and don’t like it just go buy yourself some mama Celeste and get back to call of duty on your Xbox and never leave your parents house again forever alone with only your imaginary «gamer» friends to keep you company. PC master race for life! Oh and it was surprisingly not expensive for how much they gave me.

This place does not deserve the name Pizza Parlor. The pizza tastes awful (worst stuff I had in my mouth) and the place is not clean. Tables and chairs feel sticky, left overs all over waiting to be cleaned up. Restrooms are disgusting. My bad that I didn’t check Unilocal about this «restaurant».

What to say, these guys got it! Good food fast service and loads to choose from. I don’t give very many 5 stars because they have to be earned and this place has earned them keep up the good service and people will come back I will reorder from here more often.

I’m not sure what it is about this place but the pizza was perfect. We ordered half cheese and half pepperoni as the kids are picky eaters along with the salad bar. The salad bar was just your standard stuff but the pizza was top notch. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.

I ordered a pizza and they sent me the wrong one, after calling back and speaking with the lady twice she promised that i would have a credit on my account, i called back and they have no record of it on file… thanks

I have to say the pizza and wings were pretty good. My family enjoyed it, but that was about it. We ordered the delivery salad it was ok and some mojo potatoes that were mushy inside. Lol we also ordered desert! Why. It was Ny cheesecake, it was the most funkiest tasting cheesecake ever!
I am giving the star only for the pizza, but that cheesecake shouldn’t be sold!

I really enjoyed the taco pizza I got for cinco de mayo, not my favorite pizza in town but it’s like 2^nd best or so. The place is kind of a mess inside and the lady at the regi is not the nicest but who cares too much about that they have pizza and it’s pretty darn good so I’ll be back for the taco pizza wow it’s good. The location is good, not right on main st.

In town for soccer tournament. Bought 6 pizzas. Excellent, not like chain pizza. Everyone in the group had good things to say about the pizza. As you can imagine many would be comparing it to Domino’s (for example) and this is definitely much better.
I don’t like veggie pizzas, but I actually had a slice since it looked so much better than your typical veggie pizzas. It was actually really good. I did of course then stack a peperoni slide on top of it and made it even better! ;)

I have been coming here since I was a kid. I have seen this place go from Shakeys –Rustys –Pizza Man Dans.
Even thou this place has changed ownership 3 different times. The Pizza is still by far one of best slices you can have. There’s nothing like biting in a hot slice of pizza from here. It’s so hot and fresh out of the oven that it burns your mouth when you take the 1^st bite.
This place is due for a re model. The décor and layout of the place is exactly the same as when I use to come here in early 90s as a kid.
4 stars because the Prices are on a bit of the high side & because they could afford to remodel but choose not too.

I was just like to say the most horrible treatment I’ve ever had on the phone with customer service trying to order pizza they were rude to me made me repeat my card number several times and then acted like it was a joke I asked for the business owners phone number to get ahold of him they gave me a false number if the owner would like to contact me you can contact me at my email. The person on the phone said he was the manager and his name is James of the call center I really don’t believe that information

This is the phone number they gave me 805−856−9013 and I repeated it back to them as they said it. So obviously they were pulling a fast one.

My tip to anyone with a short lunch time or with a large group, call your order in about 30 minutes ahead of time, honestly this is in your best interest, because you might be able to enjoy your lunch, rather than waiting for it and eying your watch every five minutes.
My favorite thing to get at Pizza Man Dan’s was the salad bar, they’ve always had fresh lettuce and veggies. They might think to add in the future cottage cheese or shredded cheese instead of the flaked Parmesan, I think that would be enjoyed by many patrons over the latter.
However I was recently disappointed to see that Dan’s has done what many of my favorite salad bars have done in the past, they’ve omitted the Catalina Dressing which is by far my favorite dressing and I seem to be the only one on the planet who likes it, because everyone discontinues serving it.
The staff here have always been friendly, I don’t go in as often as I used too (salad bar strike) but when I have gone in, they always greet you as if your an old friend.

Pizza was delivered with the wrong toppings and automatically came with pesto sauce, didn’t know that was a thing. Pizza is overcooked and hard to chew or enjoy. Definitely wasted 25 dollars plus tip on this disappointment. That’s what we get for trying to have something delivered so we stayed out of the rain.

Salad bar has small cups for ranch. It is the kind of ranch you crave, not the grocery store kind. Excellent pizza! My second time here. I will be coming back! Wish the salad bar had cottage cheese. Over all, very good. Thanks Dan!!!

Let me start by saying that what I ordered and received may not fit most people’s description of pizza. That said the round, topping cupboard, cheesy bread circle that I ordered and received was delicious. Let me explain.
I ordered the taco pizza. This pizza had ground beef, cheese, lettuce, nacho cheese Doritos, and a few other toppings I can’t recall. It was the most delicious pizza I’ve ever eaten. The chips were nice and crunchy, the meet was season well, and there was lots of gooey a delicious cheese.
I have never had a traditional pizza from pizza man Dan’s, and I don’t know that I ever will. Their special pizzas are amazing, and I’m always excited to try something new.
We also got a calzone. The calzone was just okay. It was nothing to rave about, but it was good quality food. I don’t know that I would order it again.
I will however, definitely be back for another taco pizza.
