I had Better Flooring put hardwoods in my living room, kitchen, dining room, stairs and upstairs hallway — they did a great job! Lots of attention to detail. They had to remove carpet and tile and the finished product is just gorgeous. Stanley answered all my questions and came in on time and on budget. We couldn’t be happier — I would definitely recommend Better Flooring.

Recently I moved into a house that was built in the 90s. The existing hardwood was in shambles and the carpet was stained. Unfortunately, during the buying process, the blemishes were all covered with furniture. Last minute, we decided to have all over our floors redone.
Stan came in the same day for a quote and started the next day! He completed the flooring on time, on budget, and it looks amazing. I was a friends brand new $ 750,000 condo in the city last week and our floors are the same, if not better, quality!
Lastly, Stan and his crew were extremely professional, accommodating, and easy to work with. Please choose them for your floors, you will be happy

We had them install new hardwood flooring in a previously carpeted family room, as well as at the top of our stairway in the hallway. They really did a TREMENDOUS job weaving the new floor into the existing floor, to the extent that it looks like it was part of the original installation — only MUCH better. Stanley was very responsive and personable, both in providing the best price as well as during the project. They finished in the expected time and we couldn’t be happier with the final product. We also enjoy the many compliments!
I HIGHLY recommend them and would not hesitate to hire them for our next project.

A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G! Recently used them to refinish our floors in both units of a two-​flat we just purchased in Skokie. We got several estimates from other companies and got the best price from Stanley and were the most comfortable with him. The floors were in bad shape when we purchased the building (built in the 1920’s) and Stanley and his team made them look like brand new. They look absolutely amazing (everyone who comes and visits raves about them) and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Could not be happier!
