Five Below

This place can be hit or miss. I originally went to find holiday-​themed items. Well, that was a miss. They don’t really stock up on those types of things. But walk the store and suddenly you’ll find you have basket flip of more seasonal items. There’s always a deal to be found. You just have to be willing to look and some days walk away empty handed if you don’t.

Good place for summer fun items or stocking stuffers around Christmas. The people there are pretty friendly and you can find some decent college stuff for a better price than say target such as a hamper or garbage can– overall thumbs up!

LOVE IT!!! got a bunch of things for under $ 20 and got a couple sandals with polk a dots which I am so crazy about. I went nuts but not to crazy haha I didn’t expect much of this place before walking in. I am def. coming back! for fun gadgets stuff. I got a decent/​nice lunch bag for my man which will fit a lot of food now haha. and also got containers which I am so crazy about. You gotta have cool containers to pack your snacks and lunches in. =) woot woot.

I was a little apprehensive about going here because I thought it would just be another one of those dollar stores that sells useless junk. Well I was wrong. It’s a nice step up from a dollar store. This store can be highly addictive as it has some of the cutest cheapy items ever! I got an iPhone case, a calendar, a few books, numerous Hello Kitty items and some candy! I wish I would’ve been able to fit into the cute graphic tees but unfortunately they run in junior sizes. :(This is a great place to bring kids without having them bust your wallet. I can’t wait till my son is a little older so I can bring him here.

My teenage cousin made me go in here. It’s a fun little Dollar store ($ 5 dollars and less). Very cute! Lots of different stuff. Perfect place to pickup stocking stuffers and little gifts for kids and younger teenagers.

This store is great! We stopped one day on the way to the pool, and their products are way cool. Great kids crafts, as well as seasonal stuff.

This is a really fun store that sells items for $ 5 or below. So it’s a five dollar and below store — get it??? But the items they sell are so cute! We spent so much time in here just browsing and having fun! This will be our go to store for theme parties as they have a really nice selection of unique party items as well as a nice selection of Chicago sports team items for your next game get together!
What else did we find… let me tell you! They sell old school candy, HUGE whoopie cushions (which I bough — I couldn’t resist — it’s HUGE!), extra long Twizzlers (over a foot long)! a vuvuzela, a bunch of trick items, and some other random stuff we couldn’t resist.
They sell t-​shirts, flip flops, toiletries, and other stuff you would also find at a typical dollar store, but for some reason, this store seems a lil more hip — and they suckered me into buying a bunch of stuff! If for no other reason, we had a great time looking at a display full of funny magnets and having a nice time laughing.
Nice addition to an over-​saturated dollar store market. :-)
