We went there for lunch on a Friday afternoon and waited almost 45 minutes for our food even though the diner was mostly empty. Sadly, none of the food that was finally brought to the table was worth waiting for. I had a lunch special(a chicken sandwich on focaccia bread), but the so-called focaccia bread was a plain roll and the mushrooms tasted«off»(although, to be fair, the roasted peppers were rather tasty). The onion soup had no melted mozzarella or bread in it, and the fries on the side weren’t even fully cooked. My husband also ordered a lunch special(fish and chips) and was similarly unimpressed. Either the frier was on the fritz or the cook had no idea how long things are supposed to fry because both the fish and the fries were undercooked. Neither was remotely crunchy, and both were cold by the time the waitress was able to find the malt vinegar. Our lunches weren’t even delivered to the table at the same time. Also, although both my husband and I were entitled to dessert with our lunch specials, the waitress handed us our bills without asking us what we wanted for dessert(we also had to tell her that we were entitled to soup with the lunch special because she wasn’t aware of that either). Frankly, we just skipped the dessert because we didn’t want to be disappointed by anything else on the menu. Undercooked and unimpressive food, ridiculously slow service, and a cook and waitress who had little clue what they were doing all added up to a pretty awful dining experience. Lastly,(although the waitress at one time apologized for the very long wait) nobody even bothered to ask us if the food was any good(presumably because they knew what the answer would be). I don’t know who these other people are who wrote such favorable reviews, but I assume they have to be relatives of the owners because nothing about this place was good.

Great breakfast with the family. Best diner coffee I’ve had in years. I haven’t had good home fries in years and these are much better than most. Very sweet staff, good basic breakfasts. Haven’t had lunch or dinner yet.

This was a great diner after snow tubing. The young girls were very friendly and helpful. Food was great too! We will definitely come when we are in the area again. We found the place pretty warm and inviting.

I visited this diner when they first opened up and it was frantic, there were issues with every single aspect of the diner, but they had just opened. The owner spoke with me for a while and heard my concerns. He seemed really into his business unlike other owners. Revisiting today, the place is on point. Staff works very well together and after searching for the owner, I see him running the line in the kitchen. This man is serious about his business and he’s very good in the kitchen. The food came out a bit slow for a diner but they had a big crowd. I had the Jerzees platter. 2 pancakes 2 eggs 2 bacon sausage toast and home fries. Everything was perfect. Home fries seemed to be freshly made not frozen(I could be wrong) bacon is delicious, pancakes are great and everything came out on time. This place ironed out the wrinkles and now they’re on track to being one of the better diners in the area. They have my business. And they have the cooking channel on. Great place. UPDATE*** I just had a meal to go from Jerzeez. Excellent. Took a while again but they told me it would be an hour, so no complaints here. Steak sandwich was delicious with the onions and mushrooms, but I would have toasted the garlic hoagie. Onion rings are out of this world! 3rd meal from this diner and it just gets better and better.

Amazing food best stop in area before going to mountain. Only issue is takes a little bit long sometimes to get food. But definitely worth the wait.

Lunch special included soup and desert but the entire was quite large. Potato fries have nice flavor and the burger came out scrumptious. Funny wait staff, cool management. Excellent vision and fun place to eat.

Unfortunately did not enjoy this place. The floors were cracked, dusty and filthy under the tables. We dropped something on the floor and we literally threw it in the garbage. Omelettes and breakfast were average at best and not cheap. Mixing Bowl is a much better option a mile away. Will not return to try lunch or dinner due to the cleanliness. Added a star as the servers were cordial and responsive.

This place is awesome! My breakfast sandwich was a work of art. Juicy sausage links rested delicately on two perfectly over easy eggs topped with fresh long cut jalapeños melted together with cheddar cheese all nestled between a toasted bagel. This sandwich should be on their menu as a breakfast sandwich option. –Jay Hendershot

Delicious! Super family friendly which is what our family looks for first with two toddlers. Service was very fast. The menu has a little bit of everything(even my picky eater found something he liked!) We are here visiting my husband while he works and I was afraid I would be eating McDonalds for two days. The owner was so welcoming and had a conversation with everyone who came in. So happy with our experience might order a gyro to go tomorrow since I already ate the left overs I was planning on saving. Definitely would recommend.

This diner is pretty good and holds its own against the numerous local diners. The food quality is better than your typical diner, and many items are made in house, which is a nice change. My only gripe is to get a new lock on the restroom door. I have eaten there 4 times, and it has never locked!
