Hidden Valley Resort

A good little ski area, and a good choice for young kids as an alternative to Mountain Creek.
This is a pretty small place overall, and if it were just myself and friends I would most likely go to a bigger place, but it is good for small kids. Here are the highlights:
Positives:
No lift lines anytime. It is a quiet place.
Good instructors for the kids.
Affordable prices.
Well kept slopes and lifts
Good staff… even the lift operators are nice
Not full of crazy people for the most part
Good variety of slopes
Negatives:
The parking area is terrible. I bottomed out my car once, and always track mud onto the floormats.
The facilities are small and old. Bathrooms, lodge, etc… pretty weak but serve their purpose.
The music they play… have a horrible station blasting out of the speakers by the lodge. Easy listening type stuff… I want to puke each time I go near the lodge.
*Edit* Maybe they are reading Unilocal over here? Last time I went the horrible and loud music was replaced by a lower volume and the Pulse on satellite radio. BIG step in the right direction!
