Tasty vegetarian options. Small portions. No extras included. We were looking for a simple vegetarian inexpensive lunch. Something different from the usual Panera. This looked promising. No prices listed on the large board, by the time we ordered two sandwiches and two soups we were close to $ 30. Then the food came. Tasty sandwiches, but small to medium size, no sides, no chips no pickles no fries– nothing else. The soups were size of two shot glasses, so small you would think you were eating a 12 course dinner. Had to send one back, because the cream of mushroom had animal-based stock. We left with mixed feelings: nothing impressive in terms of taste, def not satisfying in terms of size and far from being a deal you would expect from a singe $ category. If you don’t mind to drive 15 min, Rio Coco Beans should fit the bill, iced coffee drink included.

Very pleased with this little breakfast lunch and dinner spot. I had a delicious egg sandwich with Jack cheese on 8 grain bread. I had sliced apples and orange juice. The night before I had a tasty fresh salad with homemade vinaigrette and a juicy hot dog with sauerkraut. Great find and great service.

We went this afternoon for lunch here and it was just as great as the last time. My husband had the Gobbler with American cheese and he said it was delicious! I had their Club Sandwich and it was so filling I had to take part of it home. We split the Sweet Potato Fries with the honey sauce and they are to die for! The sauce makes it! They have a Tropical Fruit Infused unsweetened tea that goes great with the food. Very light and refreshing! We will definitely be back again!

Great salads and sandwiches. We ordered from work and the Gobbler is always a favorite with Smoked Turkey, Bacon & Swiss cheese. Mmm. It looked delicious! I had the Ahi Tuna salad on Spinach with walnuts and Mandarin Oranges. It was so good! Definitely something I’ll get again, although I would like to go there when I have more time and get something different to try. Going again? For sure!

The food was excellent! My mom and I had lunch here and we shared the crunchy grouper Reuben with the homemade chips. The chips were perfectly cooked, thin, light and crispy. The grouper was fried to perfection, the rye was grilled to a nice crispy outside and the 1000 island dressing and cheese were soft and melty. Absolutely delicious. Our counter girl Kaycee was super sweet and helped us choose our lunch. Great service! We had never been here and will absolutely be making this the restaurant we go to every time we are in Vero. Highly recommend.

Took 25 mins for 2 turkey sandwiches to go and then they forgot to put the lettuce on them and added KETCHUP! such a bummer

This is a somewhat nondescript place in Vero beach but the sandwiches were great! I had a jerk chicken wrap which was excellent and my wife had a grilled asparagus sandwhich which I thought sounded horrible but turned out to be one of the best things I’ve ever tasted

Typical Tourist Business Mentality with poor Customer Service and employees who do not seem to realize the reason they have a job. They act as if they are doing you a huge favor by waiting on you or that you are interrupting their cell phone time Still shocked at the very low level of Customer Service and poor attitude at many area Businesses All my life, I had only written 2 negative reviews prior to living in Vero Beach I had also only had 3 hairs in my food in my lifetime. I had 4 in less than a month in Vero Beach! Expensive and inconsistent portions and service We ate here a lot until we had an issue with soggy sandwich and hair in food Employee was VERY rude and refused to refund money. There was also no offer to make other food. Odd Wrote the owner on Facebook and email to bring it to his attention The Manager also did not reply

She is the subject of several reviews there and told me it is just her«personality to not be friendly» 3 different times in 4 days she was RUDE and did not answer our questions or say hi, thank you or you are welcome. The last day, I greeted her and she said«What do you want?» When I showed her the soggy sandwich with wrong sauce… She rolled her eyes and walked away. Three words: Crispy grouper reuben. So delicious. I paired it with the red onion salad and it was a smash. Not inexpensive but totally worth it.

Food was okay and expensive for what it was. $ 80 for 4 sandwiches, 3 cups of soup, and 2 fountain drinks. They over cooked my Dads hamburger and didn’t offer to comp his meal. The owner apparently doesn’t comp meals for improperly cooked food or poor service. There are many other great restaurants on Vero Beach. We won’t be back.

Tasty food, cute place. Service was ok until we had a problem. Burger ordered medium came out well, we let the waitress, Rebeccah, know and she hustled to order another. 20 minutes later and we had to ask about the recook, another few minutes until it came. Nicely cooked but missing lettuce and tomato. We asked about comping the burger and were met with«we don’t do that here» and a heavy eye roll. We were a party of five and dropped nearly $ 90 on soup and sandwiches; Anywhere else the burger would have been comped without hesitation.

Amazing grouper Rubin! Amazing. A sandwich place across the street form the beach. But the food is way above what you’d expect from this kind of place. Always crowded during the season. Outdoor nice.

The best sandwich in Florida, Mabe the world! The Grouper Ruben is something to dream about while you are«up north». It is not only a large piece of fish, but all the flavors are there. My husband and I usually split I the sandwich and order their homade chips. Perfect combo. Perfect sandwich. Wish I could review other menu items, but when I start to order my lips say GROUPERRUBEN.

The best sandwich in Vero. I went to the one beachside Cody the cashier was super friendly and happy to make suggestions for adding to a great experience. Make sure to order the homemade chips… Cooked and seasoned to perfection. I love the innovative menu. Grilled asparagus on 8 great is a new favorite. The seating inside is nice but the patio is awesome with ocean breezes and great people watching…

In Vero Beach with my hubby for the week and really loved breakfast here! The people were wonderful(seems to be a trend down here) and our food was awesome! Sara was super nice and told me some local spots to potentially see manatees! We had coffee and a breakfast Monte Cristo and my husband and I agree, best breakfast sandwich we have ever had! Will be back during our stay.

My new favorite thing: THEREUBEN! It was AMAZING! I bit into this perfectly toasted bread to taste the sweetness of the coleslaw then the crispiness of the crusted fish balanced with the most delicious sauce I have ever eaten. The fries were real potatoes with the skin cut long and thin then very lightly coated with a layer of breading fried crispy with soft insides. To finish I had a brownie –frosted in pure fudge which was thick and rich. Service is walk-up counter and/or call in ahead. Nice shaded outdoor seating or small indoor tables and chairs. By the way… huge portions which left some for later(yey)! Located in the«strip-mall«of medical buildings directly North of Indian River Med Center. Plenty of parking.

We used to visit the beach location when down in Vero in the summers– and happened to stumble upon this second location during a trip to Ft Lauderdale so we ordered our all time favorite grouper Rueben and also tried the Bruschetta sandwich. The grouper Rueben is still five stars and absolutely the best mix of crunch, savory and perfectly cooked fish– $ 14 is a little steep, but worth the splurge! Bruschetta sandwich came out as a wet sloppy tomato mess with a generous amount of mozz and some red onion. By the time I got to the bruschetta, the bread was soggy and inedible, sadly. Bummer! The Italian toast it was on was also super buttery. They need to rework that design. Otherwise this is a perfect casual sandwich shop with fun ingredients and great flavor.

Was not a fan… Had the red onion sandwich, and the crisp apples I was expecting to provide a fresh crunch, instead were browning and flimsy. The onions were dark green for some reason and had a strange aftertaste. My husband enjoyed his meatloaf sandwich. And the homemade chips we shared were thin and crispy, just tasted like old oil. We won’t be back.

Neat little sandwich shop tucked into a strip mall/med center near the hospital. Lots of great specialty sandwich choices. Today I tried the Crunch Grouper Rueben sandwich. Great food and excellent service. My only complaint would be that it was a little pricey for the amount of food you get. I would recommend and would certainly come back.

Great place to eat! Staff is friendly & food is great. I had the Crunchy Grouper Rueben & it was awesome! It wasn’t greasy & cooked perfectly. I don’t rate too many places on Unilocal but had to give props on this meal. It’s one of those«gotta check it out» places when in Vero Beach.

Love this place. One of the best burgers I’ve had in forever. My husband wanted to go for the Grouper Rueben & he said it was the best grouper sandwich you can get in Florida.

Don’t let the location in the small commercial strip mall dissuade you. The sandwiches here are original and delicious. It’s kind of crowded and busy all of the time, seating is limited. Translation: the food is good, and regulars keep coming back. Crunchy grouper Reuben: highly recommend. Had the cream of mushroom soup on the side.
